Option key does not work at all.
My option key(s) suddenly doesn't function AT ALL, not in CC2018, nor CS5.1. Tried multiple keyboards, and two different iMacs, one running Sierra and the other High Sierra. Tried all updates to no avail. Works fine on my Mac at work running CC2017. Please help with this problem. It's crazy frustrating.

The pointer has gone crazy!

-MacOS 10.13.5
-Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 v22.1.0.312After updating the last MacOS 10.13.5 system, the cursor/pointer decides to randomly click on the work area. (it's not a mouse problem) This problem is very serious, because it doesn't make me work.

Crash when applying stroke
Illustrator often crashes when apply stroke to simple path or compound path. Crash seems random and inconsistent but happens 6-10 times a month.

illustrator text stroke misaligned in illustrator and when placed in photoshop as smart object
Strokes seem to be misaligned when working on live small text and cannot be placed into photoshop correctly to apply FX. Adobe CC

Welcome page doesn't seem to work
Clicking on the 'see what you can create' or 'swap colours' panels does nothing on my windows 10 machine in Illustrator and InDesign. I like the idea of this though!

Adobe Illustrator CC 22.1 ME cannot change stroke weight to 0.25 - 0.5 - 0.75 chosing from relevan panel
If I chose from stroke panel 0.25 or 0.5 or 0.75 stroke weight, then I obtain 25 or 5 or 75 stroke weight line!!
If I manually type on relevant fileld box 0,25 or 0,5 or 0,75 then I got correctly weight line. The problem may be that Illustrator ME doesn't recognize full stop "." but comma "," only. How can i fix this issue? Thank you1 voteRequest to Contact Support ·

updated eps files no longer preview
Running Mac OS 10.13.5, Illustrator CC 22.1
When opening an existing eps file, I make a change to the file and then save. Then, when importing that file into ID, the image will not preview, and I just get a gray box. This also happens if I do a "save as" and overwrite the old file with the same name. However, if I choose "save a copy," the file previews fine. Help?

AI can't open file
Using Windows 7 professional. Have AI 2015. Problem recently started occuring. I would save a file then go back in and try to open it and a box shows up saying it can't be opened. Would try to open another file and the screen would turn white with a time wheel. It would say AI has to close. Windows would contact if a solution was available. No solution!

Placed graphic glitch
Placing a 1-bit BMP image and rotating in Ill2018 results in a broken image. Toggling the GPU Preview on fixes the appearance on screen, but exporting to JPG, the issue transfers to the output image.

global color slider occasionally stuck
We work from a preset set of colors that I have set up as global colors so that we can easily use percentages of each color in the projects we work on. I have found that not infrequently the global color slider will get "stuck" on the initial percentage it is set to. Trying to change the percentage by typing in a new percentage will get set back to the percentage that it was originally set to (I was just working on a project where I set it to 30% initially. That looked too faint so I typed in "40"…

creating a simple box crashes the software
More often than not when I go to create a simple box Illustrator crashes forcing me to FORCE QUIT the software and try again.
Very time consuming and needless..

Bengali Dari Line Break Issue
The Indic 'dari' (U+0964, "।") reflows to the next line in Bengali, but it should behave like a period and not be allowed to start a line, especially if not preceded by a space. I am using v22.0.1 x64 on Windows 10. I have attached a file to show what I mean.

Opening CC 2015 files that have missing links causes the program to hang/crash
Old 2015 save files which have a missing linked file cause CC 2018 to hang when opening the file. Opening the file in 2015 bring up the dialogue box 'missing file, do you want to continue to open'. It seems 2018 cant show the dialogue box or some strange bug so it hangs.

Can't export a PNG file ([now!] error)
Hello,
I am trying to export my illustration in PNG at 300 dpi, but every time it is showing me the attached error. It's not with this file only. Even if I am trying to export a simple rectangle, I am getting the same error. I am using windows 8.1 pro and illustrator version is 2018.

Missing Layers
Opened my document this morning and all the correct layers were there, closed out because I made no changes so there was nothing to save. reopened my document again all my layers were gone! only showing the orginal base image. Help

Export fails for path item with pattern stroke
Using File -> Export -> Save for Web or File -> Export -> Export For Screens (at scale greater than 1x) will give an error: "Could not complete this operation. An unknown error has occurred". This error only occurs when this particular item is visible and involved in the area to be exported.

Illustrator-specific MS Surface Wheel options have disappeared
Arrange, artboard and other illustrator Surface Wheel tool shortcuts have disappeared, and have been replaced with the OS standard ones.

Rearrange All Artboards does not move artwork with it when spacing is adjusted
OS X / Adobe CC 2018 (OS X is where this document ran into this issue, but if it helps troubleshoot, it is being passed back and forth between a Windows 10 machine).
I have a document with multiple artboards. I needed to increase the spacing between them. I went to Rearrange All Artboards where "Move Art with Artboard" was already selected from multiple previous re-arrangings. I changed the spacing from 20px to 60px.
I expected the artboards to have the new spacing, with art in the same location.

Pantone colours not appearing correctly in email preview
When I convert a CMYK colour to pantone and then rasterize it into an image (cmyk) to make it smaller for sending, in the email preview (gmail) the pantone colour appears completely wrong.
file is saved as pdf (cmyk). file is created also in cmyk

Freeze during heavy detail
I'm working on a macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.4 MacBook Pro on Illustrator 22.1
When I have a detailed design - ie a palm tree with numerous branches. I try and resize it or copy paste it and the program freezes then my whole computer freezes and I have to restart the computer.
I expect this program to be able to handle designs with heavy detail and not freeze up every single time.
