1. Flickering colors and images when moving mouse while in GPU mode

   The screen flickers when you move the cursor (it sucks!).

   When you switch to CPU it stops, but you lose the animated zoom which is a nice feature.

   Equipment:

4. Gaussian Blur amount for the object dragged differs

   If you apply a Gaussian Blur effect to an object and drag it, Illustrator will change the value slightly and restore it back when the transformation is complete.

   It seems that Real-Time Drawing and Editing option does not apply the same amount of blur while the drag is in progress.

   Especially noticeable if you hide edges temporarily with Cmd/Ctrl + H.

   Increasing the blur radius makes the dragged preview blurrier, but still less than the intended value.

5. File name resets when I switch to saving as a cloud document

   I'm working on a file locally called filename_v01.ai and decide to create a new version.

   I hit Save As, and change it to "filename_v02.ai"

   Before hitting save in the same folder, I decide to save to cloud instead. I select "Save Cloud Document"

   The Save to Creative Cloud window opens up. All is well except it has ignored my filename change - it's called "filename_v01.aic"

   This happens in both directions and would be good to fix

   Why do I want this change
   I back and forth between illustrator desktop and iPad and back and forth between ai and aic to do this (ultimately I prefer to have local AI file so I can bring into other apps - After Effects etc), and I continually version up when I go from one to the other - v01, v02, v03. This file rename bug regularly trips me up

6. HEX Value can't overwrite spot colors in color palette

   I set a global color (Spot or process doesn't matter) but if I try to enter any code in the HEX value field, I'm not allowed to type anything. I must first convert the color to CMYK or RGB with the appropriate button and only at this point I'm allowed to type the code in the HEX field
   It would be much more practical to be able to insert the HEX code even without having to necessarily convert the color to CMYK or RGB first

7. Gradients with opacity act as a clipping mask for objects behind them

   When working with complex groups and gradients, often times an object with a semi-transparent gradient ends up removing the graphics from grouped items below it.

   The solution I've found is to ungroup and regroup items, but I feel this shouldn't happen in the first place. It also disrupts my workflow and how I group items in the first place.

   I don't know how to describe the steps to recreate it, other than "it happens sometimes." I think it happens more often if I've created Blends, even if those blends have been expanded.

   The images attached show two examples of what's happening, and one example of what the intended result was.

8. Shift + F puts screen in presentation mode.

   WIth version 28.2 Shift + F puts the screen in presentation mode even though there is no hotkey setting for it, it was blank in the keyboard shortcut menu.

   I added a hotkey command that i would never use to so it doesn't keep going into it when I accidentally hit those keys since ctrl + F i use a lot. and Shift + F still puts it in presentation mode. I have never had this issue before until today...

9. AI HAVE THE WORST DIMENSION TOOL OF THE WORLD

   You have to follow Rhino quote tool. There's a lot of mistakes in AI quote tool.
   - I don't want to see "mm" after my quote.
   I MUST have a snap on every elements of my drawing for quote my dimensions
   I MUST have the possibility to snap different quotes to a single point
   I MUST have the possibility to have orthogonal quote from oblique points
   PLESE DO IT QUICKLY!!!! WITH THE LATEST VERSION OF AI CAD TOOLS NO LONGER WORK...I LOST 1500 EUROS OF SOFTWARE BECAUSE OF THIS CHANGE

10. Links not included in Package - Illustrator 2024 Bug

    When I package a file, the option to package images into a links folder is checked, yet it's not packaging them. This is happening on my home and work computer.

11. Column can't be resized in the variable panel

    If you have a lot of variables with a larger name the column can't be resized in the variable panel so you can see everything.
    Normal table columns can be resized; dunno why this one isn't.

13. スクリプトでアクションを実行するとフリーズする

    Illustratorのアクションに「⌘+A」といういわゆる「すべて選択」アクションを作成し、「Select All」という名前を付けます。

    Apple Script で「do script "Select All" from "testAction"」を実行すると、Illustrator がフリーズします。

    この現象はver.25.2頃のバージョンでは発生していませんが、それ以降のバージョンでは発生します。

    改善されることを願っています。

    Create a so-called "Select All" action called "⌘+A" in Illustrator's actions and name it "Select All".

    Illustrator freezes when you run "do script "Select All" from "testAction"" in Apple Script.

    This phenomenon does not occur in versions around ver.25.2, but it does occur in later versions.

    I hope it improves.

14. Pathfinder & Shape Builder: glitch when joining curvy shapes

    I'm trying to join two round shapes and I'm always getting unexpected shape glitches in the result path. I tried making this new shape using pathfinder and shape builder, but the results are the same.

    This is regulated by the size of the art processes and the precision value (measured in absolute values) one can edit in Pathfinder Options.

    Although vector paths stay continuous no matter how deep you zoom in, they are still stored on a canvas with rather finite coordinates, and all calculations are still very finite.

15. Smart guides don’t highlight a repeat object when it’s grouped

    1. Please open the attached file.
    2. Make sure you have Smart Guides enabled (and Object Highlighting enabled as well in Preferences > Smart Guides) and Snap to Grid disabled.
    3. Hover your cursor over the yellow circle — you will see a blue edge highlighted.
    4. Hover again, but over the black cross — Illustrator won’t highlight it.
    5. Open the Layers panel and study the object tree — yo will see that the Radial Repeat is grouped.
    6. Select it, ungroup it, and try to hover over it again — now Illustrator will draw the edges.

    Notice that Illustrator still won’t tell you the name of the object: nor Path, nor Line (which is not though), nor Radial Repeat — boooh.

16. Illustrator highlights anchors on mouse over when anchors are below other objects

    Mouse hints sometimes don't accurately communicate what the user is about to do

    As an example of the problem, create one rectangle with a fill, then create a second rectangle with a fill that encompasses one of the points of the first rectangle. Then, using the direct selection tool, hover over that point. The mouse hint indicates that the user is about to select that point. Click, and the second rectangle will be selected instead, because it is over top of the point.

    If that point can't be selected in this way, the mouse hint shouldn't make it appear as though it can be. If a hint is presented, it should be to show that the upper object is about to be selected.

17. When linking HEIC files with the HEIC extension on Windows, if the files are nested, they cannot be open

    When linking HEIC (HEIF) files with the HEIC (HEIF) extension on Windows, there is a bug that if the files are nested, they cannot be opened in the link window.

18. テキストボックス内での強制改行

    Adobe Illustrator 28.1、OS13.6.3、OS11.7.10

    テキストボックスで均等配置（最終行左揃え）を使用。テキストにtabを挿入しsift + 改行 （強制改行）すると落ちます。
    別のmac（os11.7.100）でも検証しましたが落す。

20. カラーウィンドウの改善

    以前からカラーの数値入力はTabキーを使用して移動していました。
    2024年版は#が追加され、そこから更にTabキーを押すと上に移動せず全てのタブが閉じてしまいます。
    タブを閉じずに上の入力に戻るよう改善をお願いいたします。
