Dashed strokes with round caps and zero dash lengths (dotted dash) looks very imprecise when using Large Canvas, with GPU Preview
A 1 pt stroke with 0 dash length, when created within a large canvas file, looks chewed. When expanded, the points get baked like this.
CPU Preview shows these correct, but expanding it still creates dancing points.
Doesn’t happening in a normal canvas sized docs.Large canvas should become stable finally. So many bugs with it!

There's program fault in illustrator on the Mac, I cannot type in values sometimes in the main side panel. If I expand the panels via the 3 dots I can then type in the value. It happens with all the field entries.

Threaded text areas display only first lines when Adobe Every-Line composer is used, since 29.6
Issue: two or more threaded text areas no longer render all text inside. The text does still exist (as visible in View > Outline) but it does not render on screen or when exporting / saving out. Whereas text flashes visibility for single text areas with no threading, but does eventually show.
Actions taken: fresh text areas; freshly typed text (not copy-pasted); fresh document with fresh areas and fresh text. All do not render fully. Also ensured text is at the very top with no unseen masks or shapes obscuring. Turning off and on Outline View, bounding box, edges etc.

Mouse scroll does not work on hovering
The mouse scroll does not work when hovering over things like sizing, fonts, etc since the latest update.

Swatch Panel is not adjustable
Since the new update, the Swatch panel cannot be adjusted and so I cannot have all of my panels open at the same time now. If I expand the color panel, I have to sacrifice another panel to be shrunk. I used to be able to take away the empty space under the swatch area which gave more room for the other panels to be open.

Accuracy when opening DXF files
Opened a DXF file in Draftsight to confirm size. When opened in Illustrator 2026, the size is not accurate. When opened in 2024 and 2025, the size is correct. Tested on different computers and the results are the same. What should be .044 inches in size shows up as .0474, which is not acceptable. Opening in Affinity Designer2 or Corel, the sizes are correct. Working with a part that is only .414 in diameter, any inaccuracy is unacceptable. Original DXF file was created in inches and I have tried all possible options to achieve the correct sizing in version 2026…

Eye Dropper - Alt Clicking Text to Text Doesn't Apply Stylings
Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.6456
Illustrator 30.4 (64-bit)When text object 1 is selected, using the eye dropper tool and holding Alt to left click onto text object 2 (to apply the font style color paragraph style etc.), doesn't apply the stylings of text object 1 at all.
It does 1 of 2 things I found:
1) it's applying the text stylings of whatever current text settings are visible from the Character panel plus it will also apply no fill/stroke color to the text.
2) it will literally do nothing and no change happens, no matter how much you spam…1 vote -
DXF import size issue 2026 that works in 2024
Opening DXF in latest version 2026 at original size or 1:1 does not work, results are close but not exact. Works fine in version 2024. However, if saved as a PDF from 2024 with accurate sizes, when opened in version 2026 the size is not accurate, a few thousands off. Have many files that were created using 2024 and if I need to make adjustments for any reason opening in 2026 will result in size issues.

cannot create new file
Cannot create a new document. None of the following options work: the blue "New file" button, Menu > New and Ctrl+N.
I have restarted the computer and the problem persists.

Rotating circle object stops visually showing at certain angles
After a certain threshold, circle shaped objects seem to not want to visually show rotation using the corner tool. This only seems to be a problem on ellipses as all other shape types seem to not have the issue.
The shapes still rotate, but they seem to not show after some random amount of rotation. Using ver 30.4. I know the screenshot sucks, but let me know if you need a video or anything else to help

最新リリースバージョン「ver.26.2.1」にて、定規の0基準の設定されていないファイルを開いて、その中で0基準を設定後、保存してファイルを閉じた後、そのファイルを開くとデータの一部がズレた状態（トンボなどとそれ以外のいくつかのオブジェクトだけ勝手に動いた状態になってしまいます。
途中の段階で別名保存したPDFは問題なく開けます。

Crash illustator iPad
J'ai un Ipad 9ème Génération version 26.4.2 , quand j'essaye d'ouvrir un fichier qu'il soit existant ou nouveau Illustrator crash. Sur mon PC le logiciel fonctionne correctement tant dis que photoshop et les autres logiciels de la suite adobe fonctionne également sur la tablette. Ce n'est pas la première fois que ce bug arrive. Quelqu'un aurait une solution ? Merci

Artboard Names Not Showing
A bulk of the artboards are showing the names, but several only show the number. Upon double clicking the artboard title, it appears only 1 character is visible at a time, but the artboard is indeed properly titled.

Always crashes upon clicking All Formats (*.AI; *.AIT;...) button in the Open File dialogue box
Any time I try to open a file and ACCIDENTALLY hit the button All Formats, Illustrator freezes and stops responding. I have to close the program. This issue has been consistent across multiple versions and 2 computers, and happens every single time.

Em versões anteriores do Illustrator (até a 24.1.3), o diálogo "Exportar para Telas" usava automaticamente a pasta do arquivo .ai como destino padrão de exportação, e lembrava o caminho entre sessões. Esse comportamento foi alterado em alguma atualização posterior e, desde então, o caminho de exportação é resetado toda vez que o Illustrator é reiniciado.
Embora a correção tenha sido anunciada no Beta 29.5.52 (março de 2025), o comportamento ainda não está funcionando de forma consistente na versão de release geral.

Enclosed Selection mode should work in isolation using the correct scope
Illustrator today allows to make Enclosed Selection Mode a permanent option, with with the Select Objects only within Marquee option, in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display, as was requested here and in a separate request at http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/49503929
But I still can’t use it fully today.
I isolate often, and Selection tool does not allow to use Enclosed mode when isolated. For some strange reason it requires the Group Selection tool to do so, as if my scope stays at the document level, and I’m no in isolation! Make Selection tool work in Enclosed mode in isolation, please.5 votes -
version 30.3 simulate colored paper causes white fill to render transparent and objects off the artboard dimmed
revert to how it was before the latest update--where white filled objects appear white on screen and objects on the pasteboard look normal when using "simulate colored paper"
(this happened on macOS Tahoe 26.4.1)

Palette Redéfinir les couleurs qui se ferme toute seule au moindre clic
Bonjour. J'ai ce soucis depuis un moment.
Lorsque j'ouvre la palette de modification de couleur ''Redéfinir les couleurs'' qui se trouve dans Edition/Modification des couleurs/Redéfinir les couleurs de l'illustration... dès lors que je clique sur les cercles pour les déplacer et changer la couleur, la palette disparaît. J'ai beau recommencer, dès que je touche les cercles, la palette se ferme. Impossible donc de changer les couleurs de l'illustration.
La video en pièce jointe est très explicite.Si vous avez une solution, je suis preneur.

「環境にないフォントを解決する」などからバリアブルフォントをアクティベートできない／Cannot activate variable fonts through Resolve Missing Fonts.
Adobe Fontsが含まれたドキュメントを開くとき、そのフォントが環境になくても「環境にないフォントを解決する」などからアクティベートできるのですが、バリアブルフォントの場合はアクティベートができず、困っています。
・和文でも欧文でもバリアブルフォントだとアクティベートできない
・Beta版と製品版（2025、2024）で確認したが、アクティベートできないのはいずれも同じ回避策として
・Adobe FontsのWebサイトで事前にアクティベートしておく
・文字パネルの「さらに検索」タブからアクティベートするなどの方法が挙げられますが、単純に手間ですし、初心者さんにとってはハードルの高い作業だと感じます。
ほかのフォント同様に「環境にないフォントを解決する」や「フォントの検索や置き換え」からでもアクティベートできるのが正しい挙動だと考えています。UserVoiceで似たような報告を見つけられなかったので、日本語版だけのバグではないか？と疑っています。
バグであれば早めに解消いただけると嬉しいです。
When opening a document with Adobe Fonts, missing fonts can usually be activated via "Resolve Missing Fonts," but variable fonts cannot.
- This affects both Japanese and Latin variable fonts.
- Tested in Beta and release versions (2025, 2024) with the same result.
