1. Window snaps out of view when switching from external monitor

   MBP, OSX Mojave, when using an external monitor with the laptop screen closed everything is cool, unplug the laptop and use built in screen everything is cool.

   Once I plug the laptop back into the external monitor with the lid closed AI will snap off screen someplace.

   If I use the mission control gesture (swipe up with 3 fingers) the window appears and I can drag it to another desktop, but then it assumes the same position off screen on the new desktop.

   The only workaround I have found is to unplug the monitor, resize the window and then plug back in.

   I haven't seen this behavior with any other app.

   When having several documents open at the same time and in different tabs, out of the sudden all tabs show the same file. Forcing me to restart to be able to see again each tab with it's own design document.

3. Missing fonts issue

   It's not reading Adobe fonts. It keeps saying to activate the font every time I open a document. The program hangs trying to activate a font, making the file not work properly "without" a font that was perviously activated.

4. PDF Security

   If I password protect a pdf and then re-open it and make changes to it. I am unable to just hit save. I have to save as again and put in a password again otherwise the pdf is no longer password protected.

5. Can't open or create Illustrator files

   Illustrator CC 2019 won't open or create any .ai files since this morning.
   * Double clicking a file causes a crash
   * Opening a file through Menu > Open causes a crash
   * Creating a new file through Create new... causes a crash

   Illustrator asks me to send in a crash report, then closes.

   My system:
   Windows 10 Enterprise, 64 bit
   Version: 1903
   Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz
   Installed RAM: 8GB (7.90GB usable)

6. Thai text inconsistency between versions

   Thai text is inconsistent between Illustrator 2017 21.1.0 and 2018 22.1 OSX 10.14.6

   After opening and clicking on text created in 2017 accents are moved. Font Tahoma same version in both cases. See attached.

   Adobe can you look at this bug please?

   Problem with Simbraille Font in Illustrator when trying to Save As a PDF.
   In Illustrator, I use the Type Tool to create the letter "a" using the SIMBRAILLE font. It appears correctly in Illustrator. Dot 1 is larger than dots 2,3,4,5 and 6. This is the effect I want. (I am creating special flash cards to use with a student at school). When I am done saving my file (I have the Braille cell, and the corresponding character beneath on a second layer... depicting the letter "a" is a different font (calibre regular), and the above are against my background layer (a yellow rectangle for contrast). It saves nice in Illustrator. But when I SAVE AS a PDF.... everything comes out in the PDF EXCEPT dot 6 in the PDF. this happens regardless of the letter used. It is a simple file. But I need all six dots to appear in the PDF. (For instance: the Letter A in Sim braille is depicted as follows: Dot 1 is large and prominent... while dots 2,3,4,5 and 6 are smaller. Why is dot 6 always being dropped? My illustrator is up to date as are my other products. (I have to create a whole alphabet and other words. Can you help?

8. Svg export

   Hi! I met with you at CreativePro conference in Seattle. I would like to see more control when exporting svg from Illustrator. More specifically, the ability to remove the title tag when exporting. If not, that's ok, the svgomg site cleans up svg code well. Thank you!

   Thanks a lot for reporting the issue here. We are currently looking into when we write add the title element and when we don’t.

   For more context: The problem you mentioned at CPro was the tool tip that shows up when hovering the mouse above an -embedded SVG document.

9. Cutting out parts of the exported PNG

   Exporting "saveforweb" PNG cut all the logos a few pixels in.

   P.S. ever since CC was released (and started renting out your software) the quality went down, your software doesnt work well with macos catalina. BOOOOOOO Adobe. BOOOOOOOO.

10. Keep transparency of raster images is copied / pasted / drag-n-dropped

    I have, let's say, image with background erased. I want to copy it from PS and paste into AI, intending opacity to be kept, but NO, you get opaque image.

    I don't care who is in charge for this, you or PS team, just get it done already.

    Same applies to PNGs from a browser.

11. slow cursor on second monitor when using Adobe Illustrator - only while using Ai

    When I used illustrator on my second monitor, the mouse cursor is astoundingly slow and a reduced range across the screen. This only happens when I use illustrator, not other applications. I am using a macOS Mohave 10.14.5 (18F132) and am connecting to my monitor with an HDMI using an HDMI/USB adapter for my laptop.

    This costs me in time and efficiency at my job, as I'm sure it does for other people, who have posted similar complaints on adobe forums. Please fix it!

12. Moving an artboard using the Artboard Tool moves non-overlapping paths and shapes in adjacent artboards

    Moving an artboard should only move paths and shapes within the artboard and paths and shapes overlapped from other artboards. If possible, overlapped paths and shapes should only move if a majority is in the selected artboard.

13. UI Panels not rendering with Catalina update

    The panels in the user interface for both Illustrator and Photoshop have started not rendering properly (aka disappearing) both for the document panel and for workspace panels the ever since upgrading to Catalina on Mac. This most commonly happens when pressing "F" to switch between document views. Other times when switching from another application to the Illustrator or Photoshop window, the entire document disappears despite the Window dropdown menu saying it is open.

    I have contacted Adobe Customer Support and they have continually told me to delete my preference files (Illustrator) or turn on/off Legacy compositing (Photoshop). Despite doing these, neither has fixed the problem. How can this be solved for good? It's highly disruptive to my workflow.

16. Illustrator slow on Retina display

    Hi,

    Adobe Illustrator is running slow/lagging on a Retina display (Zooming, using overprint preview). Doing the same operations when the document is located on an external monitor (Dell, no hdpi), all works well.

    I've tried switching between GPU/CPU rendering, disabling animated zoom, removing the preferences, ... without any luck.

    Does anyone have any idea's on how to solve this?

    I'm using a MacBook Pro, 16GB RAM, Radeon Pro 450 2048MB...

17. Change to dimension in properties panel applies to wrong object in certain situation...

    Minor bug. To reproduce:

    Have at least two objects on screen.
    Select one.
    In the properties panel, change the width or height but do not press enter or tab.
    Select the other object.

    Result: The change in dimension is applied to the second object, not the first.

18. Reflect tool showing artifacts when flip mirroring a live paint group

    A live paint tool when mirroring via Reflect (O) function, seems to always distort parts of the flipped and copied image, sample here. But I've had worse results.

19. PDF Import Problem

    Opening a PDF in Illustrator 2019 23.1.1 - I select which page I want to open eg. 2 of 2, and it only opens the first page (not the page I wanted). No I'm not inputing the page numbers in the preview page panel (just in case you think that I am).

    Import PDF pages as links is 'unchecked'.

    Troubleshooting:

    1) It works correctly if I open 'all' page with 'links checked'.
    2) It works correctly if I open 'all' pages with 'links unchecked'.

20. Character/Paragraph panels - lazy and/or incorrect updating

    Illustrator 23.0.3 on Win10

    It is vitally important to me that the Character and Paragraph panels tell me the truth at all times: an accurate description of the properties in play based on the selected text or the cursor position if nothing is selected.

    I constantly run into the problem where I select a line of text and the 'space before' and 'space after' controls in the Paragraph panel are completely wrong. Clicking the up/down arrows on the controls will change the displayed (wrong) value, and the text will suddenly leap to god-knows-where, rather than the desired "up or down by 1pt" relative to the other text in the paragraph.

    Sometimes I can see the correct current values for the text by putting the cursor in the line and moving it around with the arrow keys. The actual current values will briefly display before being replaced with Illustrator's mistaken idea of what values should be displayed.

    See attached video of the Character panel doing the same thing. The cursor is on a line of text that is set in Adobe Caslon at 25pt, but the panel is telling me it's Myriad Pro 12pt. Each time I move the cursor, the correct values are (briefly) displayed before being replaced with the uselessly wrong values. FWIW, the wrong values are the defaults: "[Normal Character Style]" and "[Normal Paragraph Style]" in the Character/Paragraph Styles panels, and if I created a new text box and started typing, yes, I'd get Myriad Pro 12/14.4. But having already typed text and changed its style to something else, I need the panels to show those values.

    It's more than a little irritating.
