  3. Free transform not scaling correctly

    When scaling a stroke with Free Transform it jumps to a ~30º angle (pics attached). this happens without holding Shift etc. All I want to do is extend the stroke.

    Smart Guides is turned on, I've tried turning off/on Bounding Box (no luck) and turned off "Enable Content Aware Defaults" in prefs.

    I'm on MacOS HIgh Sierra with CC 2019. I've never experienced this before

  4. Text missing in SVG files

    This is the first time trying to use Illustrator since it updated to the newest version (23.0.1) and updating my Mac to High Sierra (10.14). I have previously used Illustrator to edit SVG files, specifically the text in those files. When I open similar SVG files in the new Illustrator, all of my text is missing. My computer is due for a small update which will go through later tonight but this seems like a bug within Illustrator.   5. Wrong description label in layer window

    Hello,
    the description of the label from the screenshot is wrong on Mac Version, STRG + (CTRL + in english versions) is false, that's the the label for the Windows version. Correct is: Befehl + (cmd + in english version)

  6. Crashes in Windows 10 after closing Illustrator Version 23.03

    Illustrator crashes in Windows 10 after closing Illustrator version 23.03. Please have your developers check this error. I am including a screenshot of the error everytime that Illustrator is closed.

  7. File Names Fail To Save with Fullstops

    If a file name, entered in the New Document modal, has fullstops in the name in the beginning of the string, for example, a date " 19.07.11 Web Banner.ai " the user will find, when they go to save the file that the filename will not be saved as it was entered.

    No characters after the 2nd full stop will be shown, forcing the user to type out the entire string again.

  8. Color Fill Bug

    Hello! Yesterday, I finished drawing a comic. I was supposed to color it in, but the color fill was not working on anything on the drawing. I tested using the fill color on a separate drawing and it worked. It’s only this one drawing that can’t be colored using fill at all.

    I do the press and hold technique to color. My iPad Pro is version 12.3.1 and is up to date.

    Update: It’s gotten a little better. I can only color small objects but that’s it.

  9. Workspace toolbars disappearing

    Ai CC 2019 - all of a sudden all the toolbars have disappeared and won't stay reinstated. Workspace will not reset nor change modes.

  10. Align to Artboard option gets changed into Align to Selection

    All version of Illustrator before CC 2018 the Align to.. command would stick to Align to Artboard unless you clicked on another object to define a Key Object.

    This upgrade keeps jumping back to align selections.

  11. Adobe Illustrator 2019

    My adobe illustrator 2019 keeps crashing every 10/15 minutes. I tried closing out of my other windows and just running that program by itself and it still crashed every 10/15 minutes. It is very frustrating when I am working on something and have to re-open up the program. Thank you in advance for the assistance.

  13. Magnetism on bezier points

    Today, there is no magnetism on bezier points and it is very annoying when you're drawing. Magnetism only works with anchor points (and not bezier points). Here is a GIF showing the problem.

  14. Wrong exported image size (extra pixel added) if artboard coordinates are non-integer, not pixel-perfect

    In attached AI file there are 1 artboard if you just export it for Screens you will get an image size 105px × 104px, however in AI it's sized as 104x104px.
    Check that X coordinate of artboard is 172.34 px, so it's float. Just change it to 172px and re-publish and image will be 104x104.

    So, coordinates of artboard should affect into output PNG image.

    This issue is probably happening because the artboard dimensions are not appropriate for raster export (i.e. are in decimals).
    If you make x and y values as the whole numbers in the transform panel (not in decimal), then the extra pixels will not be added to the exported image.

    That is the workaround, and it’s reported that it’s not always the case.

    At the same time — Ai knows the size of artboards to be exported and yet it does not deliver the set sizes, which is not fair. The team is going to rethink the algorithm.

  15. 'Send to current layer' command is disabled when art across several layers is selected

    I don't understand why it's limited, I can't see logic behind that, so I put it in Bugs, rather then Ideas.

    See, I have some stuff in different layers. I select it, choose a layer, press a hotkey, I intend to collect it all in the selected layer, but nothing happens. WHY?

    I have 'Collect in new layer' in Palette menu, but I have no hotkey for it (you guys do everything with mouse? really?) and i don't need a NEW layer, I need existing and selected one, and I have a command for it — ''Send to current layer'…

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.0.0 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  17. Cursor location offset from mouse. Cannot select or use illustrator effectively.

    I am on Creative Cloud version Version 23.0.1. I am having a problem from the moment I open Illustrator that the mouse and cursor do not synchronise. The cursor actually selects something completely offset from what I am trying to select. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, as well as just restarting. Nothing is resetting it to work correctly.

  18. Illustrator Library Place Copy a Vector Broken

    Illustrator 23.0.0.1 (64 bit) - Windows.

    I have created some custom icons. Saved them as SVG.
    Opened up these SVGs and then added to a Library.
    On click place copy on a new art board. The vector is totally corrupt. (see attachment.)
    The icons are correctly designed and all lines expanded.
    If I place link they appear fine. (obviously I then cannot edit)
    If I click edit they appear fine. (Using edit to open then cut and paste at the moment)

  19. Changing font size or leading doesn't get applied but jumps with Undo

    When editing type, I will attempt to change its pt size or leading and no changes are made. When I attempt to undo those changes it jumps back about 10 steps. This happens at least once a day. I run the most recent macOS and CC.

  20. can not operate the slider of the gradation panel
