Illustrator 25.4.1 Generating constant 105MB log files into com.adobe.dunamis folder and filling up hard drive
When I am working in Illustrator, my fan starts to run and Illustrator generates multiple log files per minute in the com.adobe.dunamis folder. Each log file is roughly 105MB and before I was able to pinpoint what was going on, it filled my hard drive with 750GB of log files. If I close Illustrator and reopen it, it stops for awhile but I haven't been able to pinpoint what triggers the start of the log file generation – it isn't consistently doing it, but it does occur multiple times per day.

Circular Text Rotation different on newest update.
Opening a file with perfectly centered text on a circle is now off center. Live rotating seems to make the text hop around the circle not conforming to the rotation.

Stroke thickness resets when adjusting gradient direction.
Combination of two Categories: Strokes and Gradients.

Disclaimer regarding evidence: The canvas is rotated by 60 degrees, due to the project I am working on.When I adjust the gradient direction (by pressing G on my keyboard), pressing & dragging in the paint-group would reset the thickness of the strokes that are involved in the paint-group. Hence not allowing the thickness of the strokes to stay constant, hence disturbing the preview of gradient.

CC Library to Illustrator Swatch: Name Length Bug Creates Magenta Spot Color
When adding a Color Swatch to Illustrator from the CC Library:
If the CC Library item's name is over a certain number of characters, Illustrator cannot import the swatch correctly.
Instead, Illustrator imports the CC Library color as a Magenta Spot Color.
The only workaround currently is to shorten the CC Library item's name to match the maximum allowed characters for an Illustrator Swatch, and then import the color.
FIX: Allow more characters for Illustrator Swatch names to be compatible with with CC Library character length for items.

images with opacity masks not appearing in GPU preview with Trim View on
Some images with opacity masks not appearing in GPU preview with Trim View on. They appear all the time in CPU preview, but disappear again when switch back to GPU preview. See screen shots: first is GPU preview in Trim View., second is GPU preview normal.

カラーコード入力で色を変えると戻れない
Illustrator 26.2.1
windows10 21h1カラーモードRGBでカラーパネルもRGBでの作業で、カラーコード(#と6桁)を打ち込んで色を変え、前の色に戻したいなとctrl+z(取り消し)を押すと挙動がおかしいです。
まったく戻らなかったり、カラーコードを打ち込む前の操作に戻ったりします。コミュニティに投稿し、再現されている方がいるのでバグだと思います。

AIT file does not open as a new AI file when opening from One Drive.
I updated to Adobe Illustrator V26.0.3 today. And now AIT file opens as AIT file.
It should open as a new AI file when opening from AIT file since it is a template.
FYI, I am using MacBook Pro M1 2020, and MacOS Motley V.12.1.
Doen anyone getting the same problem?

After testing, I found out that this is happening when I open an AIT file from my One Drive folder.
When I copied AIT file on my desktop, then it opened as a new AI file as it was used be.

Bulleted text became outlined without performing "Create Outlines" action
I found my text with added new bullet function became outlined text and cannot be edited anymore through type after closing and reopening the AI file.
I have to retype the text, thus I am guessing that the bullet function may have triggered this because the rest of my text without bullet in that same file is still editable. Please help rectify. Attached two images of the outcome.

Export window won't appear on screen, except for a few options, but they don't work
When selecting Export, the box won't show, but some options do. These options showing won't work by clicking on them or via keyboard.
Sometimes the Export box appear if I change between Desktops or screens.

Illustrator crash and spikes GPU (3080ti) requesting more VRAM than usual error code 6 with pid=263

The version of Adobe Illustrator (desktop) : 26.5
I work with high-amount data content and AI keeps crashing randomly, on a stable high end station with 12900k, 32GB of RAM and a 3080ti.To reproduce the issue:
I work with these rather heavier files up to a point
the whole PC stalls and freezes, (inclusively desktop and any app), mouse can't be moved, no input can be taken.
After a few seconds or 1+ minute, i hear the sound stuttering (if i was playing music during the crash)

Bounding box does not get updated when 'Use Preview Bounds' is toggled
- Create a circle.
- Apply a large Outside stroke to it
- Make sure you have bounding box turned on in View menu
- Open Preferences using menu (not a Ctrl+K hotkey, this is important)
- Toggle Use Preview Bounds option, commit changes
The bounding box does not get updated. To force to to become larger/smaller (it depends on you initial state of it), you have to click/move the shape, to force it to redraw.
However, if you call Preferences via a hotkey, Ctrl+K, the brief moment you hold Ctrl is enough to toggle the selection tool to Direct Selection, which makes Ai hide…

text tool is slanted by default and cannot be fixed
(Using MACOS Ventura 13.0 on Macbook Air with M1 Chip.) This issue is both on PS and AI 2023.. When I use the text tool, the text appears slanted and cannot be set to the correct angle. Does anyone have thoughts on this? This was also happening on PS/AI 2022. See screen recording for visual.

error import data illustrator
Illustrator has a bug when importing letters or names that have accents or unconventional symbols in a batch import the letters never load. I send a cvs file. Load it with batch option and search MEJÍA name.

Font Height Options misbehave with rounded fonts
Recently I started to notice that some of the fonts I use make wrong result when x-height or cap-height is used to set a font size.
I clearly see that the height is of, by eye and the underlying grid, but Character palette says otherwise. I outline the font, I measure glyphs and I get smaller dimensions.
Take a look at the file and the picture attached.
When fonts with straight terminals are used, everything is fine. Visual dimensions match metrics precisely.
But when a font with rounded terminals is used, like two examples at the bottom, things go weird.

Graph type tool crashes when selected.
iMac Pro, Monterey, Illustrator 27.0.
With a graph selected I click on the graph type in the contextual mouse menu (right click). Illustrator crashes.
Same crashes on my MacBookPro latest Intel version running Ventura with Illustrator 27.0.
BTW: give us a working graph tool, not this dinosaur from 1995.

Transparent items appearing as opaque
Shape ontop is 10% opacity but appearing as 100%, but off the artboard is back to 10%

Divis/Minus-Zeichen und Leerzeichen am Zeilenanfang ergibt falschen Wortabstand
macOS Monterey 12.5.1 / Adobe Illustrator v26.5
Beginnt eine Textzeile mit einem Divis/Minus/Bindestrich und einem folgenden Leerzeichen/Wortabstand, so beträgt der Abstand zum nächsten darauf folgenden Zeichen nicht wie üblich ein Viertelgeviert, sondern ein Geviert. Die darauf folgenden Wortabstände in der gleichen Textzeile verhalten sich normal. Beginnt man jedoch mit der Eingabe-/Return-Taste eine neue Zeile, so erscheint automatisch auch an diesem Zeilenanfang ein Divis mit anschließendem Geviert-Wortabstand. Dieses „Geister-Divis“ lässt sich nicht separat anwählen.

Sloppy GUI design
In the most recent version of Illustrator for Mac, 24.0.0, the Save as dialogue seems to be designed by a startup company for use on Windows. :) Not a big issue, but please, Adobe, move the Format drop-down menu so that it sits in line with the Save cloud document button. This hurts my eye.

和文組版の横組み文字列中の文字回転
Illustratorの日本語組版で、横組み文字列中の1文字を回転すると、文字が上下・左右に暴れて表示されてしまいます。
※縦組み中ではそういった不具合は観察されません。
添付ファイルのように検証してみましたが、その回転の際の原点あるいは挙動原理などがよくわかりません。
例えば、添付ファイル右下のように補正してみても、同じファミリー内でウエイトを変更しただけでもその補正値は変わるようです（平均字面が関係している？）。
和文書体は、（欧文ベールライン位置や平均字面は様々でも）基本的には正方形の仮想ボディに納められていますので、仮想ボディの中心を回転の原点としていただければ、このような補正の手間がなくなるのではないだろうか？ と考えられます。
挙動を変更していただければ、作業者の負担も軽減されるでしょう。なお、このような「横組み文字列中のひと文字を回転する」という処理は、あまり日常的にすることではありませんので、既存ファイルへの影響も軽微なものであろうと考えていますが、変更していただくならば、【その変更を周知】していただくことは大切なことだと申し添えておきます。
