Not able to move symbol onto extruded shape
When I try to move a symbol onto my rectangluar prism that I extruded from a rectangle, it's a total mess. The symbol is a small area in a large bounding box for no apparent reason, and when I try to align the art onto one of the faces, it snaps back to its original position. So I can't move the art to get to the place it needs to be to properly map onto the 3d object. The entire mapping onto an extruded object is broken. SVG Export for ExportOptionsSVG does "Save As" and not an "Export As"
There is no true option for the File -> Export -> Export As for an SVG, doing app.activeDocument.exportFile( fileSpec, 'SVG', exportOptions ) is actually running the equivalent of File -> Save As SVG... Which produces an AI compatible type SVG but not a fully compatible SVG with other programs.
It'd be nice to have a true "ExportOptionsCompatibleSVG"

Fonts not being listed in Illustrator when used in a clipping group with transparency effects
Adobe Illustrator CC 24.3. Windows 10 Pro 1909. OS Build 18363.1082
Converting fonts to outlines did not catch the ones used in a clipping group with transparency effects. The effect was an embossed look. When the fonts weren't activated for the file, the embossed look changed as it substituted a font, but Illustrator gave no warning and no fonts were listed in the "Find Fonts" panel. The font used in the emboss effect was listed when viewed in Acrobat but not Illustrator.

Zoom percentage in info panel displayed differently than the document zoom.
The zoom in the info panel is displayed differently than the zoom on the document above.

Area Type Text with Vertical Alignment Breaks in CC Libraries
It seems if I set an Area Type box to Accent and apply Center Vertical Alignment in the Area Type Options that the text will break up (perhaps by kerning pairs?) once reopened.
The Area Type text is gone and it's broken up point type.
If I were to use a standard Area Type box (Baseline: Em Box Height; Vertical Alignment: Top), there's no issue, and the text remains editable as Area Type.

In accurate shapes for extremely small complex shapes
Windows 10 V24.3
Open file (new or existing), Specs 10000x5000 px.
Zoom in to 64000%.
Select Pencil Tool. Double click settings (ensure color fill).
No stroke. Any color fill.
Draw complex, but small shape.
Problem: Shape is not held. Not enough anchors are added to keep original draw accurate. Add anchor should not be needed for quick workflow.In my example. Drawing small lakes on a large world map. This changes the shape of my lakes, or I must make them bigger, but that will change the accuracy of my map.

Text Appearance Attributes have a ghost text underneath visible.
When I add a stroke of white to black fill, there remains, unmovable original beneath. So it shows up where where not desired. See attachments.

I am not able to save my file and can only exit illustrator if i press "Dont Save" .. as of now i am adjusting with "Save a Copy"
Using Latest updated version Catalina. Illustrator froze several times making me uninstall it.Reinstalled Illustrator2020. I dont see a homepage/preview page like before... the screen is grey blank... I worked on an existing file and a new file but cant save or save as. Can exit illustrator only after pressing the " dont save" option. Please Help!

ExportOptionsPNG24.artBoardClipping broken in 2020
ExportOptionsPNG24.artBoardClipping (set to false)
In 2019 (23.1), PNGs exported by javascript are trimmed to the visible bounds of the object as expected when false. When true, they're the size of the artboard.
In 2020 (24.3), the same script always produces PNGs the size of the artboard whatever artBoardClipping is set to.

Script run via Illustrator (File/Scripts) as well as testing in ETSK 4.0.0.1It's a dealbreaker for version 24. We can't upgrade as a team unless this is fixed.

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Font linking not working, basic functionality of Illustrator is impaired
1) Image describes it all. Nobody asked for Adobe Fonts, but if you have to do it please pull it off correctly. If it can't synchronize with mainstream operating systems like Windows 10, then what is the point? Professionals that have to use your software have no spare time to write obvious feedback like this.
2) I am working in a team that is dependent on a shared Illustrator asset library. It is not updating consistently and it makes life hard for a lot of people that are trying to do their work.

Illustrator compiling vectors into highly pixelated bitmaps after a save
In a file with many objects and groups, we've found a problem that keeps destroying our work - after we save a file, and then re open it, for some strange reason random parts of the grouped vectors become flat/rasterized and highly pixelated or bitmapped.
What is causing this issue please and is it fixable? It's destroying pieces of work that take a great deal of time.

Typography disappears when the text is added on a curved path
This was said to have been fixed in 24.0, but I just updated to 24.3 and had this issue. Any time I use the type on path tool, it appears as though I'm typing (layer name changes) but the text is completely invisible no matter the font size or color and I am unable to highlight the text.

illustrator preview is black and white (fills but not lines?) when file background is transparent

file preview for fills (but not lines) becomes b&w when the file background is transparent. when a background is turned on, preview is fine.

Just updated to Illustrator 24.3 and now installed font only has a few letters
I updated to the latest version of Illustrator (24.3) and opened a document I had created in a previous version. Most of my text was missing. I checked and the font was still available and activated. I deactivated and reactivated and that didn't help. When I click the text, it gives me the message that "This text was created in a different version of Illustrator. Editing the text may cause some changes to your text layout. Basic formatting will not be affected. Do you want to continue?" The font is PeachyKeenJF. Only a few letters/numbers actually show up. Inaccuracies with pathfinder and shape builder tool
I'm using v24.3, the most recent Illustrator version. When zooming in on a shape, the selection outline does not appear to correspond to the actual fill area of the shape. When doing any cutting or merging with the pathfinder or shape builder tool, this discrepancy starts to create inaccurate results, as the tools seem to favor the selection outline as a guide when cutting.

Overlapping panels select multiple options with a single click
Describing my program layout:
With my panels locked to the right hand side of the program, I have two columns of panels, Stroke/Brush/Color/etc. on the far right (minimized to select individual panels to expand when needed), and "Swatches" as a standalone column locked to the left of my other panles and constantly expanded.Describing the error:

Display profile is hijacked when drag & drop screenshotswith P3 display (AI 24.3) on mac
Take a screenshot (command-shift-4) and select the area. Drag in the image from its preview into an AI open document with color settings: North American web with the monitor profile preset to sRGB. Upon dropping the file into the canvas, the monitor profile becomes "Monitor" automatically. All the colors change visually with no warning presented.
