  1. "Can't create an eraser path"

    Trying to erase part of a path and keep getting the popup message "Can't create an eraser path". This happens in version v25.0 78@219798 but it works as expected in v25.0 and v24.3

  2. Drop Shadow Deletion Crashes Illustrator

    I can apply a drop shadow to a shape, and then when I copy & paste that shape and try to remove the drop shadow from the copied version, the application crashes.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  3. File seems to be permanently stuck in isolation mode resulting in many objects being unselectable

    Basically was doing a simple school project activated isolation mode and deactivated it quickly while doing this the application became unresponsive and crashed and the recovered file still had this effect persist with only one line selectable It cannot be turned off

  4. Just update to Catalina 10.15.7 and having lots of issues with Illustrator.

    Just updated to Catalina 10.15.7 and having lots of issues with Illustrator. Initially it wouldn't open. Rebooted and it opened after several attempts. Now can't save a file, it just hangs at the 'Writing illustrator EPS format...' First only got to 3%, now 100% and can't get past that.

  5. Previews Stop Functioning.

    After Illustrator has been open and multiple files are open on tabs the previews on the artboards stop functioning. Opening new files don't function correctly either.

  6. Bad version for save option panel

    Illustrator 25.0 (2021) - macOS 10.15.7 (Catalina)

    There is only 2020 version for save option panel, no 2021 version.

  7. Unexpected fills when editing a pattern swatch

    I manually created a pattern swatch and discovered I had an error. When I pull the pattern tile onto the artboard to edit I have fills where there were none. The motifs and lettering were created in Illustrator on iPad with the blob brush tool and then arranged into a repeating tile on the desktop -- most current CC release. I suspect the path orientation is reversed as when I try to remove the fill I still have a filled shape.

  8. Undo in Isolation mode crashes

    When Cmd+Z (Undo) is pressed when in Isolation mode, illustrator crashes, after a prolonged period of spinning colour wheel. Second time this has happened.

  9. Illustrator remains on top at all times

    I don't know if I've done something or there is a bug, but AI is stuck ontop as the front window and must be manually minimized. Selecting another programs from the task bar doesn't minimize or force AI to drop back. This is really hurting my work flow and driving me nuts.

  10. Recolor artwork modal panel stays in place

    The new recolor art modal panel doesn’t remember it’s previous position and always appears in the center of my window. Is this expected ?

    If it could be non modal and docked in my custom
    UI I would appreciate too.

  12. My entire screen goes black when I try to open Illustrator 2021

    I have a Mac, Catalina, Version 10.15.7 (19H2)

    My touch toolbar stays lit up and I can tell Illustrator is opened based on the toolbar options, but nothing displays on normal screen. Screen returns after I Quit with CMD + Q.

  13. Accessing onedrive files

    We store all our art files on onedrive. I am unable to import or access illustrator files from our onedrive. Would love to be able to open, edit and re-save to make in the moment adjustments. Or am I doing something wrong?

    BUG: Transform > Set Reference Point

    The transform tool is not behaving as expected. Width and dimension transformations do not transform according to the selected reference point.

    EXPECTED RESULT: when the reference point is set to centre, I expect the transformation to apply 50% of a change in the height or width value equally to both sides of the object.

    ACTUAL RESULT: The transformation behaves as it was set to left and applies 100% on the new value to the right side of the object.

  15. Illustrator 25.0.0 breaks precision of metric units when working under custom created workspace

    When I create custom workspace and want to make new object, and when I type dimensions in the dialog box, Illustrator breaks dimensions, e.g. 250 mm becomes 250.5 or 250.06 or 249.999 or else. This also happens when I open previously created documents with exact dimensions, e.g its dimensions become broken.

    Note that this is happening only with custom workspaces created, and the problem persists even if I switch back to the default workspace. The only working solution is reinstalling Illustrator and working under any of the default workspaces, which is driving me nuts. Please fix it.

  16. Crashing when trying to save file

    Sometimes when I'm trying to save my progress on a file, it crashes and doesn't create a recovered file or anything. I've lost a lot of work.

    「別名で保存」を新規フォルダの中にするとき、ファイル名をコピーし、「新規フォルダ」を選択。
    その「新規フォルダ」の名称として先にコピーしたファイル名をペーストすることができない。（もちろん拡張子は抜いてです）

  18. Layer colors changes on download from Creative Cloud

    After downloading an illustrator cloud document to my desktop, the resulting file has the wrong layer colors. The colors appear to change to the default order; blue, red, green, etc.

    We have our artwork on the second layer, which changes to red, and red is a terrible color for anchor points against artwork. Also, our translator uses color coded layers for different languages, and we really don't want to have to change them all back.

  19. Fonts dropdown is not showing any fonts

    My font dropdown is no longer displaying any fonts, I updated to the most recent version. While researching it looked like this was an issue a few years ago...did this issue come back again or is mine broken?

  20. Not being able to grab smaller objects

    I don't know exactly when this changed but I noticed how system has a much lower grabbable distance around things. I end up toggling a lot between the outline view ctrl+Y and selecting things that way which is not efficient.
    we always have a lot of fills and effects, so when I try to grab things I'm always grabbing shadows that are so much larger than the line it came from so I have to use it a lot. This didnt use to happen before with older versions, can this be improved for future upgrades?
