Image embed option in SVG options does not work
Environment:
OS: Windows 10 Home
Illustrator Version 23.0.3 (64 bit)Recreating the bug:
1. Create some Illustrator artwork with a linked image (.jpg, .png, etc).
2. Export an SVG through File > Export > Export As...
3. Select the Image > Embed option.The resulting SVG does not contain the image. This was an issue introduced with Illustrator 2019, the 2018 version worked fine. Right now I'm embedding the image into the AI file itself as a workaround and then exporting it using the same method since that embeds the image into the SVG, but it would be nice if…

Gaussian Blur doesn’t look smooth at various zoom levels
When applying gaussian blur to a shape, the effect looks "pixely" in various zoom percentages. The screenshot shows 100% and it does not look right. If I zoom in to 150% it looks fine, but at 200% it looks strange again. This did not happen in CC 2018.
Can we get this fixed? Thanks!

Gardient tool preview useless render
Gradient tool prompts a render dialog every time it is used since the CC2019 versions. Latest Vers did not bring any improvement. Any time I drag on a gradient or apply one, I get up to 25 sec of render preview dialog box but for WHAT please. Anyone else?

my shift, control, option and command keys are not working
iMac v. 10.14.5 (18F132)
(Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)
Processor 3.8 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Illustrator 23.0.4I don't know exactly when it started, but I cannot use my shift, control, command, or option keys. They work perfectly fine in combinations like shift+w, shift+arrows or command+c, and so on. They work from my Wacom, but not from the keyboard. It seems like I have the same issue in Photoshop.

How about not releasing Illustrator chock full of bugs?
I'd like to choose a category, but it's multiple at this point. The main ones...
- Bounding box randomly disappears. I turn it on. It randomly turns off.
- I select text and go to change factors and the changes affect other text that's not even selected.
- Photoshop completely changed the sizing to no longer require shift to preserve aspect ratio, which is unnecessary and fixing the things not broken, but if you're gonna do it in one app, do it in all. Kinda ridiculous to jump between programs and not have same functionality.

Pathfinder options not working no matter what I do
Hi I am using Adobe Illustrator on a Windows PC and I was trying to use the Pathfinder Tool to simply 'minus front' some text on a shape for a logo I am trying to create. But, whenever I go to use the Pathfinder tool and click on in in the Windows Drop Down Menu - because its not even an option on the side bars?- nothing happens. FONT - HWT REPUBLIC GOTHIC OUTLINE
I was using this font free from adobe and now it doesn't show up anymore, i signed in to adobe and it says its active on my account but again its not on illustrator anymore. Does anyone know how to fix this?

ExtendscriptToolkit is 32bit-only, OSX Catalina is 64bit-only
I use a script I wrote for an important business function. For the last couple OSX upgrades, it has been warning me that ExtendscriptToolkit is not compatible with future versions of the OS. Specifically, OSX Catalina, which has been seeded to developers, will only support 64bit applications, and ExtendscriptToolkit is a 32bit application. Is that going to be addressed before the OS is released?

The units on the top ruler overlaps with the top bar. The values are cut off.

Menu Bars dont hold. keep disappearing
Hi,
This is relaly frustrating. The Menu bars (all of them) keep disappearing when I click on them. By disappearing, I mean as if someone is pressing escape key. I cant select anything in the drop down, or have to move my mouse super quickly before the menu disappears :(Also, the keyboard shortcuts don't work. please help!

Cannot process the 3D effect, the message says the object has too many spot colors
I've been getting an error message (see attached file), followed by a complete lockup. The thing is, the object only has 2 colors.

Hex Color vs Save
Windows: 10.0.17763.557
Illustrator: 23.0.3 (64-bit)
Processor: Intel i7 8700k
RAM: 16GB
GPU: NVidia GTX970When I change the color of an object via hex code, Illustrator changes the color but does not detect that an edit has occurred to enable the save option.
Step by step:
1 - Create a new file in Illustrator in RGB mode.
2 - Type M and create a rectangle.
3 - Fill in the rectangle with any color.
4 - Save and close the file.
5 - Reopen the file.
6 - Select the rectangle.

Copying text inside a symbol group copies all text in that symbol to the clipboard
When I copy selected text inside a symbol it copies ALL the text in that symbol. It doesn't matter if the text is in the same instance or in a completely different one. If it is text and inside the symbol it will get copied. When I then paste the text that I think I copied it pastes everything.

flickering black rectangle
when I move the cursor a black rectangle appears flickering alongside it. Its very confusing and off-putting. this happens with most but not all tools.
Is this something simple that i don't know about or is this something wrong? I have tried closing Illustrator and re-opening but it is still happening. not noticed it before.2 votes -

duplicated drawings when saving or exporting
On AI CC 2019, when I save file for laser cutting machine compatibility, i.e. as a previous version or PDF format, it appears that my drawing is duplicated on itself (as if I did copy then paste in front). That never happened with AI CC 2018.
Any idea?

Document window opens as narrow strip, will not expand to full width
Every document. Every time.
Multiple documents stack inside this narrow window.
Documents set to open in tabs.
Same regardless if Illustrator is opened first or opens with document.
Documents on external drives and local machine.Illustrator 23.0.4

Application Frame turned off. (with frame turned on things work differently... fine)
Both built in display and 32-inch 4k.Only started this when I upgraded to CC 2019.
Clicking here expands the window too it's original, correct size.

Resize brush with shortcut keys for Twirl, Pucker, Bloat etc tools
When using the set of twirl, pucker, bloat tools etc It would be great if you could change the brush size using the '[' and ']' keys like you can when using the blob brush tool. It's very slow and cumbersome to change the size of the brush in the dialogue box .

Illustrator not selecting color from CC color library
I am using MacOS Mojave 10.14.15 and recently updated illustrator to 23.0.4.
