1. Visual Bug

   Updated to latest release of Illustrator, opened a PDF to encounter the bug shown in attached screenshot.

   Windows 10
   NVidia 980

   Hasn't appeared in any other file.

   Bug is related to text that appears missing at bottom of PDF (three lines worth is blank), and disappears when I zoom into 300%.

2. Pixelated lines

   Wondering if anyone has experienced this issue before? I just installed AI and using the Adobe presets (I haven't changed anything). The lines are viewing very pixelated...how...why?! Is there a setting I need to change?

3. Zoom - Scroll Wheel

   In Illustrator CC the program seems hardwired to not listen to the tablet settings about scroll wheel zoom or even touch pad zoom. There are lots of people online complaining about this and trying to find work arounds.
   I suggest just creating a hard wired button like photoshop did to fix this issue.
   This wasn't an issue with Illustrator CS4, so I'm not sure what changed.

4. Artboard Custom Resize Bug

   Illustrator V22.0.1
   2 problems

   1. When manually updating artboard dimensions, the artboard itself no longer previews your changes, you have to click "Update while dragging" to see the size before closing the window.

   2. Artboard dimensions sometimes automatically revert back to previous values, if the new values are close in number. For example changing 423mm to 420mm, the value in the box would revert back to 423mm immediately.

   No specific files, this happens in general.

5. Type on path issue

   Illustrator 22.0.1 (64-bit)
   When I move the beginning or ending tabs of the path after placing the text such as to center the text on a oval, once I move one or the other of the starting or ending placings, the lines to move them disappear. I am attaching a before and after picture to show you

6. The autosave in illustrator

   The autosave in illustrator make system very busy and crushed illustrator, after restart file usually broken, has just part information (links broken, part of assets absent) or file start to be not rideable at all.

7. Linked images are embed after exported as assets

   AI 22.0.1

   Hi All,

   images linked in a document when exported as assets are automatically embedded. That means that a document increase its weight suddenly making it unusable and extremely weight.

   Please fix this behavior, images linked must continue to be linked.

8. CMD+D issue...

   I used to be able to copy and paste an object and then CMD+D to continue duplicating but it doesn't seem to work at all in Illustrator CC 2018...I downloaded CC 2017 again where it used to work, but it doesn't work with that either and doesn't even seem to be a feature anymore. Does anyone have any way to fix this? Thank you!

10. Scrolling over the Font Family closed dropdown doesn’t respect Filters applied properly

    You guys are amazing. I can set my mouse over the font selection box, and without opening the drop down menu, I can scroll through fonts.

    The bug is that after setting my font filter, I continue to scroll through an unfiltered list of fonts, unless I open the drop down menu.

11. Object > Expand = Crash

    I have the most updated version of Illustrator CC - whenever I use the expand tool, illustrator crashes.

    I've reinstalled, restarted my computer - can't seem to figure it out.

12. Illustrator won't open more than one file at a time.

    I have version 21.1.0 (64 bit) running on Windows 10 (more system details in attached png). I am not able to open more than one file at a time. What happens:

    1. I open a file.
    2. I double click to open another AI file (other file opening methods have same results).
    3. Nothing happens. One file remains open. I might see the spinner mouse for a sec but the second file never opens.
    4. If I try to close the first file, leaving Illustrator open, and open a new file, Illustrator becomes unresponsive and I have to close it via the Task Manager.

    -So every time I need to open a new file I have to completely close Illustrator and restart it.

    -My co-worker with the exact same set up has the same issue.

    -We're been experiencing this issue for at least a few months.

13. Mac Illustrator CC. Shift click not moving gradient mesh point along path.

    I'm making sure to hold shift before left clicking my mouse on the appropriate gradient mesh point as I've always done to move the point along a path. However it moves the whole path rather than just the point like I haven't hit shift at all.

14. Flickering Cursor

    The cursor constantly flickers after I opened Illustrator 3 months ago, and I cannot type anything anywhere in my laptop. Before that, I could use this software normally. Really annoying, please fix it.

15. Not enough memory

    Have issues with CC 2017 (latest version) not being able to action things as not enough memory. Seems to be that 2GB limit that Ai imposes as my system has 64GB installed with at least 40GB free to use. The programme is also incredibly slow with anything complex. I reinstalled CS6 version, and that works faultlessly and fast with the same files, with no hesitation at all! It's at least 20x times faster than current Ai. I'm on a powerful Mac Pro with Sierra 10.12.6 and an NVIDIA 4GB GTX 970 graphics card. I have disabled GPU use as it often crashes AI. I put performance ahead of new features. There are so many vector programmes out there that work so much faster than Ai. There must be a fix as something is definitely seriously wrong here.

16. Decimal point massive problems (AI CC 2017.1.0 macOS 10.12.6)

    I’ve documented the issue here:

    this problem has been discussed ad nauseam on the forum, but it still persists: AI 2017.1.0 on macOS 10.12.6 still has massive problems with handling of the decimal comma vs. point. On my system (macOS 10.12.6), all dialog boxes within Illustrator display numbers with decimal commas, but any operation (such as moving an item with cursor keys or using the cursor Up or Down keys within text boxes) makes the values multiply by 100 and then "explode".

    When I start a new document, the Width textbox of the page says "210,00 mm". If I click into the textbox and use the Up key, I’d expect the number to become 211,00 mm, but instead, it gets treated as 21000, so it probably becomes 21001 and then gets truncated to 5779,56 mm (because for whatever reason, Illustrator won’t allow me to design a document larger than 5.7 meters wide, but that’s another issue). Then, the same problems persist in the Transform palette, the top control palette and pretty much everywhere. Also, because of that, trying to move items with the cursor keys result them to instantly jump off the screen (because if their X position is 300,00 mm, and I press the Right key to move them, they end up at 30001,00 or somewhere such.

    Illustrator accepts keyboard input of numbers with a decimal point only (200.5) but those inputs get instantly converted into commas (200,50 mm). When I input a number with a comma (200,5) that number becomes 20050,00 mm. And all **** breaks loose.

    This problem has been reported AGAIN and AGAIN, but seemingly nothing happens.

    This problem does not exist in other apps, including other Adobe apps like Photoshop or InDesign — only in Illustrator.

    I removed ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator 21 Settings and ~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.illustrator.plist

    I uninstalled Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 and installed it again.

    I even switched the app language — previously, I had the English (Arabic) version of AI (enAR) installed and now I’ve installed the English (International) (enGB).

    This all doesn’t help.

17. Illustrator will not start. Adobe Illustrator quit unexpectedly during the previous launch....Run Diagnostics or Launch Ilustrator

    Illustrator was working fine for the last year on this computer and yesterday decided it did not want to start anymore. All other adobe products open just fine, except illustrator. I've been searching for the last hour for answers and nothing. What gives adobe.

    I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, adobe cc cleaner, deleted prefs, and still keeps crashing.

    Here's what happens:
    1. Click on launch Illustor from Creative Cloud app. The Creative cloud app blinks for a second as if its trying to open illustrator but nothing.
    2. Click on Launch again. Popup - Adobe Illustrator quit unexpectedly....Click Run Diagnostics or Launch Illustrator.
    3. I've tried both. Same result, get a pop up saying Adobe illustrator CC 2017 has stopped working.

    Nothing works. Very frustrating!

    Here is the error from Visual Studio when hitting the debug button:

18. Slow performance when opening file from SMB3 volume

    Illu CC2018, OS X 10.11, SMB3 volume: open, save, place links etc. on/from SMB3 volume is incredibly slow (smae with SMB1 and SMB2). Indesign & PS CC2018 do not show this behaviour.

20. Illustrator 2018 Loses ability to keep text uniform when transforming the type on path

    Illustrator 2017 had the ability to, while transforming the type on the path shape, to keep the text on it the same size and proportions when doing so. I would select the path with direct selection tool, then hit command, and text would stay uniform when transforming path.

    Now, in illustrator 2018, using same steps and command, type doesn't stay uniform, it gets squished.

    Notice how type gets distorted when moving bounding box in 2018, but I was able to make it stay proportionate in 2017.

    Illustrator 2017 had the ability to, while transforming the type on the path shape, to keep the text on it the same size and proportions when doing so. I would select the path with direct selection tool, then hit command, and text would stay uniform when transforming path.

    Now, in illustrator 2018, using same steps and command, type doesn't stay uniform, it gets squished.
