Right click menu opens from the wrong side
Why, when i right click on an object to bring up the menu and go to a submenu that has an arrow pointing to the right, the submenu opens up on the left? It has done this since i upgraded from CS6 and seems silly... the only time it opens in the direction of the arrow is if you are working on something on the left side of monitor... which is also silly since i prefer to work more or less in the wide open areas of my monitor ;)

Error on Launch: "There is no disk in the drive" -
I figured out that I only get this error when my USB3 memory card reader is connected to my computer, but it is ridiculous. I have to click cancel 30+ times in rapid succession and then Illustrator will launch, but I can't find ANYWHERE in Illustrator that is referencing my E:/ drive - HELP!

The file saved in eps (cs 2) format in CS 6 can not be opened from CS 2.

Placing images file then locking layers
21.1.0 64bit
Bug Report
I can always replicate this. Here's how.
create a new document
go to file-place and select multiple image files
before clicking to place images, create new layer and lock all other layers
Click anywhere and it will place your image on a locked layer in the corner of the art board instead of on your new layer in the location of your click.

Illustrator keeps opening its self, even after I close it/force quit it.
I used it to open a PNG file accidentally, and tried to force quit it immediately. but it just kept opening its self, even after I let it load fully, and then quit it.

Artboard list drops off when saving
With multiple artboards setup. "Save a copy" to EPS and select "Use Artboards" Select "all".
EPS's export fine, artboards still in there, but artboard listing drops all but top artboard. If you click around a bit, they re-appear.

Rendering and performance issue
Terrible!!! It generate non stop file can not be displayed not enough memory! there is enough memory on my iMac also no other application running at the time! it can not even run a simple vector line ...not even huge! its only 24" x 18''!!!!!

Zooming malfunction when switching between windows.
This occurs when I have multiple documents open in tabs. When I switch between tabs and scroll to zoom, it zooms in the previously opened tab, but not the current one. If I click within the document, then I can start zooming normally again.

reflection tool
AI 21.1
create a hollow compound path with two rectanglesround one of the corners
make an off-centre reflection with either tool palette or from transform menu
the inner path gets reflected but the outer path only gets moved to where it is expected
the 'preview' is correct but when I release the mouse any path having at least one rounded corner gets rotated 90º clockwise2 votes -
Illustrator CC - Lags constantly every attempt to do something in my layers
I have been using Illustrator since macOS Sierra and it was decent in regards to performance not perfect though. Now since MacOS High Sierra Illustrator just destroys my workflow, I waste so much time waiting for the pin wheel to go away just so that when I attempt to move the cursor to interact with a layer is comes right back and i'm waiting again. . . and then at time it will crash (this is good I make backups)
I would find it hard to believe that a relatively new MacBook Pro should have no problems handling an 600mb…

Cannot open file with Bridge
I am using the latest version of Illustrator, CC2017.
Often, an Illustrator file will not open with Bridge. Bridge is also the latest version. CC2017. Initially, files will open normally.No other application has this problem.

Can only open 1 Ai file at a time
Can only open one Ai file at a time. If current Ai file open is open in Illustrator and you try to open another file concurrently through all means, it will not open. The only way around this is to open each file in a different version of Illustrator, or completely close Ai to open the new file.

Type and Text Sizing
Illustrator CC 2017
I was adding a Type/Text box into my design when Adobe Illustrator stopped working and not responding. Then when I was able to get it back up I could place a Type/Text box in my design but the box was filled with lines and lines of unwanted text. I got that fixed but now the text comes up at barely 1/16th of an inch and I am unable to change the font size. I have done everything that everyone has suggested and I have also uninstalled the program and re-installed it and the problem is still occurring.…

Illustrator CC 2017 (macOS 10.13) crashes unexpectedly in High Sierra.
I was creating a second artboard and about to save my file when the program just crashed. This is the third time this has happened since I upgraded and before I realized there was a compatibility issue. Also, when opening Illustrator first thing in the morning after turning the computer on, it is back to taking a long time to open, usually getting hung up on the Perspective.aip.

High Sierra: "Package" function doesn't work
Hi everyone. On High Sierra the "Package" function doesn't work properly (Illustrator 21.1.0). The fonts are packed completely, the links sometimes too, but often there are a lot missing links. The document itself is not saved into the packed folder. A message appears, that the packaging couldn't be done.
