1. PDF vector artwork exported from Fresco to desktop corrupts when opened with Illustrator

   I created a vector artwork in Adobe Fresco (app is up to date) on the iPad Pro (OS 17.5.1) then exported it as PDF to my Macbook Pro (Sonoma 14.6.1). The file looks fine until I open it in Illustrator for Desktop (Version 28.6) where one of the vector layers corrupts (best word to describe it) upon opening the PDF in Illustrator.

   Troubleshoot attempt 1: I tried exporting and re-exporting and opening and re-opening SO MANY TIMES. The same layer corrupted every time.

   Troubleshoot attempt 2: I tried duplicating the artwork in Fresco, then deleted all the layers except the corrupted one, then exported that single layer as PDF from Fresco to my Mac and opened it in Illustrator but the same thing happened, only it corrupted in a slightly different way.

   I do this all the time (create artwork in Fresco and export to PDF and open in Illustrator) and this has only happened since Illustrator updated a day ago, so I can only assume that this is an update bug.

   File Attachments:
   1. This is the PDF file that I exported from Fresco to my Mac - "1. Artwork (PDF export from Fresco).jpg" - please note I have added a watermark for IP protection. This is how the artwork is supposed to look, there is nothing wrong with the file when viewing it in Acrobat or Photoshop, so the corruption doesn't happen until opening it in Illustrator. (I have highlighted the area that gets corrupted so that you can compare it to attachment 2)
   2. This is the PDF vector file after is has been opened in Illustrator for Desktop - "2. Artwork (upon opening PDF with Illustrator).jpg" (I have highlighted the corrupt area).
   3. This is an isolated view of how the corrupted vector layer looks before being opening it in Illustrator (isolated) - "3. How the corrupted layer looks before opening in Illustrator.pdf"
   4. This is an isolated view of how the vector layer looks after it has been opened in Illustrator - "4. The corrupted layer (isolated).jpg"

   This is a limitation of Ai. The truncated path has 32000 points exactly, and the missing part of it just being cut open.

   Even though a PDF can have more points, Ai won’t be able to read it. This is not a new bug, it’s just this particular path. You can workaround by splitting it into four chunks.

   Please also upvote this request to lift the limitation.

2. Alt-drag from a CC library to an artboard to create a linked object doesn't work reliably

   Really there should have been an option to keep the previous behaviour when you changed dragging from a CC library to create a linked rather than embedded object. However in the absence of this the workaround to get embedded objects must be reliable and it's not in Illustrator 28.5 64-bit Windows 11 Pro. This makes using CC libraries to store & share assets virtually unusable in the current versions when your workflows involve a lot of this.

   — sometimes following the above actions correctly creates an embedded object.
   — sometimes following the identical steps still creates a linked object. Often I have to try the identical set of actions 5 or 10 times before an embedded object is created (that's about 10-20 clicks whereas with the old behaviour it was just 1). That's just for a single object. It's unbearable if you multiply this 40 or 50 times, and have to ensure your team is also doing the same.

   I can't spot any patterns from when it works correctly to when it fails (not specific assets, restarting Illustrator doesn't change it etc).

   Really there should have been an option to keep the previous behaviour when you changed dragging from a CC library to create a linked rather than embedded object. 3. Offer to delete dimensions if related objects are deleted

   Dimension in Ai are live and follow the objects they we snapped to (only if NOT get moved on their own or together with the objects, which is stupid and should be fixed: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/47739104)

   But another problem is unbound dimensions, that don’t have an anchored parent anymore.
   Ai offers nothing if I delete an object that has a dimension attached to it
   It won’t offer me restore the link if I paste it back.
   If a dimension was bound to two objects, and delete one, there is no way I can move the second one and keep it live, it gets expanded immediately... There is no way for me to reattach the loose end of a one-legged dimension to another object.

   At least offer us to delete these automatically, and offer an ability to not show the choice again and reset the warning, if needed.

4. White random lines get displayed while working with placed images

   Good day. I've stumbled upon a visual bugs in Adobe for quite a time now. I've really thought that the sole reason was my old MacBook and although It got me angry at some point I knew I did not had the best hardware so I was in no situation of asking a bug fix. Now, I'm using the ARM MacBook with M chip, so you can say I'm having somewhat the latest hardware. Still the visual bug appears super often and I'm becoming frustrated about it.

   Basically I Illustrator shows me cut lines and borders, which are not really there. I will attach few images to illustrate it better. Sometimes it fixes itself when I zoom out or in, and then if I use the zoom tool again it will break the visuals again, but this time with different "ghost" lines, which in reality does not exist.

   This bug does not stop me from working, but it's **** of annoying and It will be a dream come true to see it fixed some day. There is not a single time I use illustrator that I do not see this bug. First time it occurred was about 5-6 years ago.

6. CMYK colours are shown wrong

8. Imported DXF file make the Illustrator very slow

   Illustrator 28.6, iMac 5K, 27" 3,8 GHz 8-core Intel Core i7, 16 GB Ram
   I have importen DXF files during 14 yers with no problems. Now it takes 5-6 minute to open the DFX file, and the iMac gets very slow. One click - pause -one click-pause (1 second)

9. Libraries help guide every startup

   Everytime i open illustrator I have to click through the libraries "what's new" guide This is getting insanely annoying. I have already reset preferences and also completely wiped adobe from my pc and started fresh.

11. Auto-snapping is unreliable

    Snapping function is often unreliable, snapping to unintuitive objects (fx. an object on an offscreen artboard rather than one next to the object being moved)

    Further - snapping allignment is unreliable, often claiming to snap to allign with an edge, but when placed being off by a tiny bit, scewing layouts.

13. Undo deletes more than one history step

    Doing undo (Cmd + Z) Illustrator often deletes more than one step and resets the document close to its original/previously saved version.

    If you still have this problem happening, please share a test file, the steps needed to get the behavior, and a video recording of it, with History panel opened in view, so the team can reproduce the issue on their side.

14. Action with Image Trace does not record preset selection

    When creating an action with the Image Trace function, I am only able to utilize the default image trace settings when batching.

    While creating the action, loading custom parameters for the image trace function does not appear to be recorded in the action. When attempting to batch multiple files, the image trace uses the default black and white setting.

    My work around is the edit the trace parameters found in /collection7 in the vector_parameters.json found in the user folder. This is hardly an ideal workflow.

    Please have the action of loading the preset recorded in the action, so this workflow is usable.

    Locked guides are not moving with the artboard, despite "Move Locked and Hidden Artwork with Artboard" being enabled in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display.

17. All Adobe apps hang on launch

    Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign are not opening.. its hanging when i start software. pls fix it. It suddenly happened.
    I am not able to work my files since past 3 days.. I tried uninstall & install, but still same. Pls fix asap.

18. Illustrator Outline mode not working (still in normal mode but can’t move artboard)

    Anytime I want to enter Outline mode, it doesn't work. It should show black white outlined vector, but here only shows the artboard as normal mode, but cant move. The title bar showing Outline mode. Have tried to use CPU/GPU preview but still doesn't work.

19. Add an option to constrain Illustrator to only move the selected object

    In Adobe Illustrator, it's frustrating that when I select an object and attempt to move it, the software sometimes selects and moves a different nearby object instead—even though I clicked precisely on the one I had already selected.

    I would like an option to constrain Illustrator to always operate on the currently selected object, ignoring nearby objects unless I explicitly reselect something else.

    This behavior would be similar to Photoshop's "Auto-Select Layer" toggle, where users can choose whether to transform the currently selected layer or automatically switch to a different one based on the click location.

    Such an option would save time and reduce frustration in workflows where precision is critical.

    Please consider implementing this feature to make Illustrator more user-friendly and intuitive.
