1. Can’t open a file saved in the cloud from another computer

   Hello, I created a file on one Windows computer and saved it to the cloud. However, it does not open on another computer. What should I do? Can you enable me to restore it or download it from the cloud?

2. Color assets from Libraries cannot be applied to objects in Illustrator 30.0 (2026)

   After updating to Illustrator 2026, clicking a color swatch from the Libraries panel no longer applies the color to selected objects. The color swatch highlights but does not change the object’s fill or stroke.

   • Drag-and-drop from Libraries to objects or the Swatches panel does nothing.
   • Issue occurs with fill and/or stroke targeted.
   • Behavior worked normally in previous Illustrator versions

   Steps to reproduce:
   1. Open Illustrator 2026.
   2. Open the Libraries panel (Window → Libraries).
   3. Select an object on the artboard.
   4. Click a color swatch in Libraries.

   Expected result:
   The object’s fill or stroke should change to the selected color.

   Actual result:
   No color change occurs; color cannot be applied in any way.

   Workarounds tested:
   - Restarted app and system.
   - Tried Alt/Option-drag, doesn’t work.
   - Tried creating new Library and new document, same issue.
   - Legacy Libraries panel unavailable by default.

   Environment:
   - Illustrator 2026 (build 30.0)
   - macOS (Sequoia 15.6.1)
   - Creative Cloud Libraries active

3. Libraries Panel Freeze & Distortion Glitch

   Persistent issue occurring on operating system: macOS Sequoia 15.7.2 with model: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021)
   Occasionally occurring up on brand new computer macOS Sequoia 15.7.2 with model: MacBook Pro (16-in, 2025)
   Both computers are on Adobe Illustrator Version: 30.0 (issue also occurred on 29.6.1)

   Steps to Reproduce:
   - Launch Adobe Illustrator.
   - Open the Libraries panel (Window > Libraries).
   - Work in Illustrator for a period of time (issue does not occur immediately but happens consistently enough throughout day to interrupt working ability).
   - Attempt to interact with the Libraries panel.

   Expected Result: The Libraries panel should display correctly and allow selection of assets.

   Actual Result: The Libraries panel graphic stretches vertically and becomes disproportionate. Items in the panel are no longer selectable. The only temporary fix is quitting Illustrator and reopening it, but the issue eventually returns. Typically occurs 10-15 times a day on this computer.

   Summary of Troubleshooting Attempts:
   - Verified issue persists across Illustrator versions (29.6.1 and 30.0).
   - Cleared Creative Cloud Libraries cache (~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Creative Cloud Libraries/ contents).
   - Cleared Illustrator-specific cache (ILST and LIBS folders).
   - Cleared CoreSync cache (~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/ contents).
   - Relaunched Creative Cloud Desktop and Illustrator.
   - Disabled GPU Performance in Illustrator preferences.
   - Verified Creative Cloud and Illustrator are up to date.
   - Issue persists after all steps.

   Additional Notes:
   - Problem began on the 2021 computer after upgrading to macOS Sequoia (did not occur on previous macOS version).
   - Occurs on all macs updated to Sequoia; we have 3 others we decided to hold off on because of this issue.
   - Other Adobe apps do not exhibit this behavior at this point.

4. Frozen Libraries Panel in Illustrator 30.1

   This has happened to me in various CC programs, but Ilustrator is the one most persistent. Basically I have Illustrator open most of the day and am switching between various apps in my workflow. Most commonly, when I return to Illustrator after it has been open for a while the CC library panel will be frozen. I am unable to click on anything in there, and if I resize the panel it distorts the contents. Sometimes the panel is partially frozen and I find out by trying to apply a color swatch, but instead the click opens a graphic asset that is no where near where I selected on the screen.

   The only fix is to quit the program and relaunch it. Occasionally, it happens during the time I am working in the program, but mostly I find it that way after returning to it. This is getting so disruptive that I am finding myself avoiding use of the libraries panel altogether. This says a lot because this is normally one of the most cohesive and convenient parts of my workflow.

   I have read various posts on this, I am familiar with and at times relaunch Creative Cloud. However, none of these actions make a lasting change. I recently updated to a new Mac Studio and I had hoped that this issue was somehow tied to the fusion drive on my old computer. Unfortunately, I am experiencing the same issues on this new system. There is something wrong with CC libraries that has been causing this issue for at least a year and persists with the most recent updates. This needs to be fixed.

   Apple M4 Max

7. Libraries Panel coming up black v 29.8.2

   Libraries Panel is coming up black in v29.8.2 on MacBook Pro M1 2020, iOS 15.5 (24F74). I checked my CC app and can see everything there, but the panel won't do anything in Illustrator.

8. Losing data saved in cloud

   I'm using version 2025 of Illustrator, if the files stored in the cloud re-run the program, all the text will disappear. Don't you really have to compensate me for losing data while paying a lot of monthly fees? I'm so angry.

10. Non-global swatches in cloud libraries don't retain names when added in new documents

    I have a large cloud library with like 800 swatches for customers that I need to use in multiple different documents. Most of the swatches were uploaded with the global tag so when I use them later on, they still have their name when I add it to the documents. However, some of my swatches are missing the global tag so when I add them later on, they just automatically convert the selected object to CMYK and doesn't add it to my swatch panel.

    If it matters, my workflow is selecting the objects that need the new swatches, then clicking on the swatch in the libraries panel. I don't do the thing where you right click>add color to swatches. And there is no way for me to tell from the libraries panel if a color is global or not, so I can't just go through the panel and change the affected swatches.

12. CC Libraries don't retain Lab values of swatches

    If you create a color with Lab values in Illustrator or InDesign and add it to a CC Library, it will convert to CMYK in a new .indd doc and RGB in a new .ai file. We work in Lab 99.9% of the time, so this is super frustrating. We have a database of custom color mixes/names. It would save us a ton of time if we could use CC Libraries for this.

    The crazy thing is... if you make a rectangle with a fill of a custom spot color with lab values and save it as a Graphic, it works fine. So why don't regular old swatches behave the same?

13. Issue when removing asset from Lib CCEnterprise Storage

    Quand la bibliothèque CC est créée comme une "marque" dans le "Stockage d'Entreprise" au lieu du stockage personnel, et que l'on supprime un des éléments de cette bibliothèque, la fenetre de visualistation de la bibliothèque s'efface complètement. et impossible de reéafficher le contenu sans quitter et relancer le programme.

    A priori celà ne se produit pas avec une lib CC en stockage perso.

15. TIF files from Adobe Libraries are not supported

    TIF files from Adobe Libraries are not supported in Illustrator. This has been a problem for at least a year now that needs to be fixed. Unfortunately, we have had to create jpeg files and relink the graphics for all of our clients. I am unsure why that file type would not be supported.

16. Align art to pixel grid applied by default when adding vector images to CC libraries

    Steps to reproduce: Select a vector graphic in an Adobe Illustrator file and click the Add ("+") icon at the bottom of the Libraries panel. Choose "Graphic." (note: the Illustrator file containing the graphic does not have "Align art to pixel grid" applied.)

    Expected result: The newly created library asset should not have "Align art to pixel grid" applied.

    Actual result: The library asset has "Align art to pixel grid" applied.

    I'm forced to uncheck "Align art to pixel grid," close, and then re-open the library asset. This removes "Align art to pixel grid" about half the time.

    I'm on Mac OS 15.4, using Illustrator 29.3.1

17. Cloud documents miss profile when downloaded

    Color profiles are missing when downloading .aic cloud documents from adobe.com/files or using the CC app, ICC profiles are missing. When opening the .aic files from the desktop application, the embedded profiles are still there.

18. Adding cloud fonts is a terrible experience

    I click to use the cloud font and it should just download, it says it is downloaded and it is not. I have to remove it (which it doesn't show that it's on my system, it's a bug) and then re-add it.

19. Libraries loading time ver 29.3

    Since update to 29.3 Libraries panel takes a bit of time to load, this was not an issue before as it was always available instantly when needed, now at start up it take about 30sec to load and once its loaded an you scroll down it rest still have to load, same as when scrolling back up.

20. Paragraph style with bulletpoints doesn't apply bullets when coming from CC library

    When I make a new paragraph style with bullets or numbering in an Illustrator document, I would like to reuse that. When I copy the style to the CC library, and apply that in a new document: the bulletstyle or numbering is lost.
    Instead when I copy the textbox to the library, and place that in a new document, the paragraph styles behave identical to how they did in the original document.
    I would suggest to make an improvement there, and not break the functionality of the paragraphstyles when used in a proper way through the library.. For me this is a bug.
