  1. The latest updates

    I've missed advert deadlines, because even though I'm on the newest Macbook pro, Photoshop and Illustrator have been dysfuntional, with artboards glitching, font sizes not being adjustable and glitching to the maximum size before telling me the font's too big.

    On top of this, the work often dissapears when zooming in and fonts do not sync with your type app.

    So I pay money for a subscription because you are industry standard, yet I've now missed deadlines, been hung up on three times by your support staff and failed to receive confirmation that you are at least attempting to solve…

  2. 環境設定の変更が反映されなくなった

    バージョン21.1.0

    環境設定を変更した際に設定が反映されなくなりました。
    ・一般/キー入力の単位と角度の制限
    ・単位/一般と線
    の設定を変えていたところ起きた事態です。

    線を描画する際に何度か角度を変える必要がありましたので、15分間くらいのうちに何回か設定の変更をしましたところ、途中から反映されなくなりました。
    (角度の固定を30度や45度や0度に変更していたところ、0度にしても30度で固定されたままになりました)

    Illustratorを再起動したところ、解決しました。

  3. Issue when typing in the font name field to find a font

    v. 22.0.0
    iMac 2017 on High Sierra

    I use English and Greek keyboards on my Mac.

    Very often I start typing in the Fonts field to find a specific font.
    If the keyboard is set to Greek when I start typing, I delete anything I have typed, use the keyboard shortcut and start again.

    The bug is that the shortcut to switch keyboard language doesn't work while I am doing this.

    I have to grab the mouse and go on the Mac's menu bar and do it there, then go back in illustrator and start typing again.

  4. Selecting multiple objects with different opacities incorrectly reports their opacities as 0%

    AI CC 2018 - MacOS Sierra
    When selecting multiple objects with two different opacities (say one square at 80% and another at 40%) it reports their value as 0%.

  6. Illustrator 22.0.1 not opening in High Sierra

    I (foolishly) updated to High Sierra last night. Now Illustrator won't open. Clicking on the icon, all I get is this:

    you may try resetting preference once to see it helps.

  8. Kerning Font Characters (Letters) Causes Curser to Jump Around

    While kerning letters in a statement, each time I press the up arrow to give more space or to press the down arrow to shrink space between letters, the curser jumps to the second line in some random spot. I have to move the curser back each time I press the up arrow and down arrow. This is defiantly a bug.

  9. My text is being converted automatically to shapes

    I am working on a project (wordle project) and I have a layer where I put text; Every time I open the file after I had saved it, I find the new text converted to shapes :s. This is so frustrating.

  10. update link to illustrator 2017 sdk on https://www.adobe.com/devnet/illustrator/sdk.html

    The move from https://www.adobe.com/devnet/illustrator/sdk.html
    to https://console.adobe.io/downloads/ai left behind a broken link to the 2017 sdk.
    Easiest thing to do would be to update the 2017 sdk link on the old devnet page.

    We are moving away from devnet to the Adobe io site. Moving forward that will the place to get all of Adobe SDK.
    We also have an early access program for our plugin partners. You may join our prerelease site you will get SDK builds way before we release it on public facing pages.

  12. Illustrator 2018 Crashes

    Surface Book crashes within minutes of starting drawing in Illustrator 2018. Have done a complete diagnostic check of my machine with Microsoft online and there are no issues there. What should I do?

  14. Selecting list view does not change from grid view in "Start" screen.

    Selecting "list" view in the "start" window does not change the view. Have restarted numerous times. Not a big deal, but annoying when I need to see full file names (which are truncated in grid view).

  15. Start Screen and New Page Screen has a black border as if its minimised

    The Start Screen and the New Page screen acts as if it is minimised inside the window (see attachment to understand) until i update the page by minimising and then maximising the application.

    as there is no way to minimise the new page screen it is stuck in this state. Started happening all of a sudden tonight. I have tried to turn off gpu acceleration but that has no effect. Tried Uninstalling but also didn't fix the problem.

    I have not tested any other pages like preferences to test if it happens on that too but my guess would be…

  16. CC 2018: The 'undo count' button in preferences is not responding

    Basically, I can click it but it doesn't respond.
    It's impossible to change the value.

  17. dialog box size

    On Windows 10, using 2 screens.
    The dialog boxes for Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver display far larger than the window, meaning I'm unable to reach most of the options.

  18. Anchor Points Flat Instead of Sharp Points

    When I draw a point with the pen tool, sometimes it gives me a nice sharp point, and other times it flattens it like a bad military haircut. If I wanted it flat I'd select the Bevel Join. Instead it takes me several minutes of fiddling with the anchor point angles to get the points, often giving me a curve that I didn't want, and wasting valuable time. It seems to be even worse than usual since the latest update (22.0.0).

  19. Blending mode in text box not saved in the file

    Adobe Illustrator 22.0.0, Mac OS 10.11.6 - Extensis Universal Type Client user:

    I am experiencing a very troublesome bug:
    - make a text box with a few lines
    - put a backgrund coloured object under it, so that multiply blending can be shown up easily when applied
    - apply a blending mode (such as multiply) to the second line only; now you have a single text box where the first line is normal, the second is in multiply mode
    - save the file
    - re-open it: the multiply text line has reversed to normal mode

  20. Menu Issues

    MacOS High Sierra 10.13.1
    Illustrator 22.0.1

    When the Application Frame is disabled, the menu items are displayed incorrectly. The "View" menu is attached.

    I have reset the preferences and the menus seemed to work fine, but when I disabled the application frame, they went crazy again.
