  1. Installed Fonts not showing

    Previously installed fonts not showing anymore. Says the fonts are missing but it worked previously and maybe 1 in 10 times it will have no error and the fonts will show. These fonts exist on my PC so it's not a cloud issue as far as i can see.

  2. Font Weights Change Upon Opening Files

    When opening a file I previously saved, all the font weights switched around. Things that were bold were now light and light font were bold. A few fonts were switched out to different fonts altogether, even though the same font was still in the document, so it wasn't like it was unavailable.
    I deleted any duplicate of the fonts and only had fonts from Adobe Fonts used in my documents, but the problem didn't go away. When opening an older version of the file that had the correct fonts weights, it would automatically change once I saved it.

  3. Fonts change after reopening Illustrator file

    I created a mailer in Illustrator with around 10–12 artboards and exported everything perfectly with the correct fonts. When I reopened the same file after two days to make changes, all the fonts had changed automatically, some text had disappeared, and the layout no longer matched my earlier exported JPGs. The fonts were installed and displaying correctly at the time of the first export, so the issue only appeared after reopening the saved file. I’ve attached the before/after GIF to show the difference.

  4. Missing fonts are no longer highlighted when file opens

    Quand j'ouvre un fichier et que je n'ai pas la police ouverte, avant j'avais le texte en surbrillance ce qui permettait de voir où la police était manquante.
    Maintenat j'ai bien la fen^tre qui s'ouvre me disant que la police est manquante, mais je ne vois pas où ?

    When I open a file and I don't have the font open, I used to have the text highlighted, which allowed me to see where the font was missing.
    Now I have the window that opens telling me that the font is missing, but I can't see where it is.

  5. 割注指定の文字と通常の文字の間のカーニングおよびトラッキングができない

    「割注で2段に指定した文字」と「通常フォントサイズの文字」の字間をカーニングおよびトラッキングで広げることはできますが、詰めることができません。環境設定でトラッキング「100/1000em」で設定もしています。割注設定している文字の字間は詰めることはできるのですが…。

  6. Text style in a mess when editing text. They appear ok in Preview mode. I can't complete the task or job.

    I am trying to edit this text in illustrator 29.7.1. Each time a type, make an amendment to the existing text it scrambles all of the settings and messes everything up (please see screenshots of before and after). I've tried to output to PDF but this also displays in a mess. Please let me know if there is a fix so I don't have to abandon this job and start again. Thanks, D

  7. All Text Disappeared!

    I saved my file as .aic but the next time I opened it all the text layers disappeared! Everytime I open the file it automatically creates a recovered version also, but still no text. I also cannot download the version from cloud that shows the last version I made with all the text still visible.

  8. When a justified area type with a short line gets converted into a point type, text shifts

    Why this justified text suddenly jumps into the middle of the area type’s bounds when converted into a point type? Not new at all, happens in CC2017 at least. It should stay where it was. If I change it to be just left-aligned, it works as expected.

  9. Fonts get missing on file reopening

    Sometimes when I open a file I have already worked on, fonts go missing even though I used them before closing the file.

  10. 特定の状態のパス上文字を操作するとIllustratorがクラッシュする。

    macOS 14.7.2／iMac27inch/i5/1TB/32GB
    Illustrator ver.29.7.1

    再現手順
    1. 新規ドキュメントを開きアートボード上に楕円を描画する。
    2. パス上文字ツールで楕円をクリックして楕円を対象にパス上文字を作成
    3. 左右のブラケットを楕円の左右のアンカーポイントに合わせる。
    4. 中央のブラケットを操作するとブラケットが反対側に飛んだり戻ったりする。
    5. 4の挙動の後にクラッシュする。

    期待する結果
    ブラケット操作時に安定して操作できる。

    実際の結果
    ブラケットの操作が不安定で、高確率で最悪クラッシュする。

    回避方法
    楕円の一部をはさみツールで切断しておくことで不安定な動作を回避可能。

    1. Open a new document and draw an ellipse on the artboard.
    2. Click on the ellipse with the Type on Path tool to create a Type on Path for the ellipse.
    3. Align the left and right brackets with the left and right anchor points of the ellipse.
    4. manipulating the center bracket causes the bracket to jump to the opposite side or back.
    5. crash after behavior of 4.

    Expected Results
    No crash…

  11. Morisawa Fontsの和文バリアブルフォントDriveFluxが使えない

    いつのバージョンからかMorisawa Fontsの和文バリアブルフォントDriveFluxが急に使えなくなりました。macOS 15.6、Illustrator 2024 29.7.1を使用しています。2024の最初の方は使えてたんですが、どこかのマイナーバージョンアップで急に表示されなくなってしまいました。2025でも使えません。モリサワに相談したところ「こちらではどうしようもないのでAdobeさんに相談してください」とのことでした。ちなみにMonotypeの和文バリアブルフォントは問題ありません。ご対応お願いします。

  12. Keyboard shortcuts for text formatting (kerning, tracking, leading, font size) no longer work in Illustrator 29.7.1

    This feature just stopped working. Please fix.

    These also don't work:

    Increase or decrease leading: Option + Up or Down Arrow (horizontal text) or Right or Left Arrow (vertical text)

    Increase or decrease kerning and tracking: Option + Right or Left Arrow (horizontal text) or Up or Down Arrow (vertical text)

  13. Character Panel Type, Leading and Scaling sizes have extra added decimals

    Ai 2025 v29.5 / Mac Sequoia 15.6 / M1 Macbook Pro / 32GB RAM - but happening on other macs with different configurations as well but same Ai version.
    We're noticing extra decimals are being added as shown in the attached screenshot. Despite choosing sizes from the drop-downs and then saving the file, the decimals return. I see a few others have posted about this previously but I haven't seen any resolution posts. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

  14. Font styles applied to portions of text 'slide' / shift positions when area type overflows

    Illustrator 29.7.1 on Mac Ventura 13.5.2 (22G91)

    I dont' know whether it's related to this current issue, but now I have parts of my text that change appearance when I'm trying to change the Font weight of another part, or when I try to type more text.

    The workaround I have found it copy-pasting the text into a new Textbox. But still, this needs to be fixed.

  15. Crashes immediately when adding a leader before a "tate-chu-yoko" text in vertical orientation

    Guaranteed immediate crashing upon adding a leader in the Tabs panel to a tabbed gap right before a character that's set as tate-chu-yoko.
    Now I have to use bad workarounds just to circumvent this...
    Hope it gets fixed soon.

  16. I think its a Paragraph Style bug thats affecting the latest version of Illustrator 2025 version 29.7.1

    I recently updated to version 29.7.1 of Illustrator 2025. All of a sudden my template file started crashed Illustrator at startup. The file opens in Illustrator 2024 - but not 2025. Troubleshooting the file - slowly deleting bits and pieces from the template file I managed to discover that the bit that was crashing Illustrator 2025 was a single block of text. The block of text has a Paragraph style in it and I think it might be this which is causing the crash (or it could be something else? Fonts). I've isolated the block and pasted it into the…

    「文字パネルの以前あった機能の消失」
    それとオプションの「割注」などの項目消失がかなりあります！
    場所が変わった場合は新しい場所への誘導をわかりやすくしてほしい。

  18. 29.7.1アップデートにおけるテキスト入力について

    半角入力では問題なく行えますが、日本語の入力時にリアルタイムで反映されず、画面左上で文字が表示され、Enterを押すと入力されるという仕様になっていました。（添付画像参照）
    また、以前のバージョンではAlt + 右 / 左向き矢印キーでカーニングできていましたが、出来なくなりました。
    改善していただきたいです。

  19. Threaded text areas display only first lines when Adobe Every-Line composer is used, since 29.6

    Issue: two or more threaded text areas no longer render all text inside. The text does still exist (as visible in View > Outline) but it does not render on screen or when exporting / saving out. Whereas text flashes visibility for single text areas with no threading, but does eventually show.

    Actions taken: fresh text areas; freshly typed text (not copy-pasted); fresh document with fresh areas and fresh text. All do not render fully. Also ensured text is at the very top with no unseen masks or shapes obscuring. Turning off and on Outline View, bounding box, edges etc.
