Unmatching sizes for identical circles with Preview Bounds
When Use Preview Bounds option is enabled, Illustrator lies about the sizes of some of the identical circles on artboards.
See the GIF and the .ai document attached.Enable the option, open Transform or Properties panel and select each circle. Three at the top right will display the proper size, with the stroke weight included — 8.5 + 3.5px.
Three at the left bottom will be only 8.5 id diameter, without the stroke accounted for.6 votes -

Space on text disapear
Windows 10 OS
Adobe Illustrator (desktop) all updated (27.2)When i use text (type tool), for a single line or a text box, the spaces between the words disapear as i type it. I tried different fonts, different idioms on the text, tried check and uncheck hyphenization and always get the same result.
Is that a configuration ussue that im not aware of? or is it a bug?3 votesThe problem got solved by opening the Justification dialog and reapplying the existing values. This is still a bug though, please vote if you meet the same problem.

Constantly Crashing
I am on a iMac & the program crashes quite often with no set reason except I am doing either using a new tool, saving or switching layers... It also has locked up several times & I don't think my files are that big...

Pinch Zoom
Pinch zoom stops working after using it a few times, using shortcuts on the keyboard sometimes resolves the issue but now the shortcut 'zoom out' seems to not be working either. Having to go to the tool bar to zoom in and out slows down a project a lot. Hopefully this will be resolved soon, I have updated to the newest illustrator version in hopes it would fix it but it seems it's only made it worse.

Illustrator 2023 (27) Crashes When Moving/Dragging
All versions (27 on) have been crashing when I try to drag/move a group or selection of items. This seems to happen more when I am moving in small increments or if I'm zoomed in, but can happen when I am zoomed out and moving a larger distance as well. Any attempt to drag items from one area to another seems to cause a crash! I have been using Illustrator 27.2, on a 64GB M1 Max MacBook Pro, running Ventura 13.1. I use a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet that is updated to the latest drivers.

Grayscale looks brownish in RGB mode
In 27.2, grayscales look brownish, and the gradient bias is very off center.

Color Mismatch when copy/pasting within Ai
In 27.2, copy/paste, while staying in Ai gives a color profile mismatch warning.
This is weird and should never happen. It also asks to Merge color swatches.

パスのオフセットが出来なくなってしまった
文字をアウトライン化して、パスのオフセットを実行すると全部同じ色になってしまう。色の変更をしても内側外側全て同じ色になってしまう

Illustrator 27 (last version) crashes
Illustrator crashes after some minutes of use without any apparent reason. I have run any possible thing to solve it. I am just drawing with my wacom tablet, the same I have done for the last 3 years. The files are usually partially recovered, but there is no error name or code displayed.

Zooming is broken when in the middles of creating a path
I am new to illustrator but have found that on mac if you use alt/option + scroll while using the curvature tool or pen tool, it wont zoom you immediately, it will do it afterwards. if you were to do it even a little bit it wouldn't happen until you are done with the stroke. once it activates its almost seizure inducing with how fast it zooms an unzooms. I don't know if this is a mac only issue or a software issue but it can not only be annoying but just outright time wasting. i use adobe illustrator version…

Pocos minutos después de abrirlo se cierra sin marcar ningún error o ventana que informe el porqué y es el único programa que lo hace.

Send to Current Layer not working - moves entire layer instead of only selected objects
I'm trying to move some objects from one layer to another.
I'm selecting a series of objects, then clicking on the empty layer that I want to move the objects to. I'm choosing Object > Arrange > Send to Current Layer. When I do this, instead of only the selected objects moving (expected behavior), all the objects on the layer are sent to the other layer.
(Normally I would simply cut the objects, then use Paste In Front on another layer to paste them in the same position. But these functions are also not working for me - the objects…

Variable Font Changes
While working with a Variable Font in Adobe Illustrator 27.2, everything works fine, and I save and close the file I am working on. The next time I open the file in Illustrator, the Variable Font changes to an italic version. There is no easy fix to revert the text other than to select and adjust it.

Rotate View Tool - Alt + Transform
Using the alt+tranform and the rotate view together is impossible because the object flickers between dramatically different sizes.
Replicate this bug by using the rotate view tool and rotating the view 180 degrees. When in this view, hold down alt and try to transform an objects scale. The object will flicker between sizes making it impossible to transform using alt.

Properties panel shows "no selection" when object is selected
I'm using Illustrator version 27.1.1 on windows 10 64 bit.
When selecting and object, the Properties panel shows "no selection" and some crucial features (like the reflecting buttons) are missing.I'm attaching a screenshot, where you can see that there is an object selected, but it doesn't appear as such in the Properties panel.

Round cap overlap when using gradient along stroke
Gradient along stroke and round cap overlaps. It is visible when the gradient is transparent. MEanwhile projecting cap does not have this issue.
Please resolve this ASAP, my client is waiting and there is no workaround.- Operating system: Both Windows and Mac has this issue.
- Illustrator version: 27.2
- How to replicate the bug: Make line, add stroke with transparency at the end, apply gradient along stroke, apply round cap.
- Expected result is that the cap should not overlap with the stroke.
