Please repair selection of path text objects in a group
When text on a path is part of a group, it is no longer possible to select and delete it.
In previous versions Alt-Shift-Direct Selection allowed to select the path text and delete it, but in the latest version, this tries to delete the path from the text object, which results in 'Can't clear the Objects'.2 votes -
After the latest update v27.3.1, I have issues opening files from my library. After few minutes of being able to open, it will suddenly stop
So before the update, i am able to open files in my AI Library freely. But now, when I double click a file, sometimes it doesn't open.

Eylemlerde Toplu İş de Veri Kümesi Adıyla kayıt yapmıyor

Değişkenler panelinden veri kümesi bağlıyorum. Sorunsuz çalışıyor. Eylemler panelinden yeni eylem oluşturup pdf olarak kayıt yapıyorum. Toplu iş ekranından az önce oluşturduğum eylemi seçiyorum, kaynak olarak veri kümesini seçiyorum, dosya adı bölümünde Veri Kümesi Adını seçiyorum ancak çalışmıyor, veri kümesi adıyla kayıt yapmıyor. Hatta ordaki 3 seçeneğin 3 üde çalışmıyor.MacOs Monterey Sürüm 12.2

Characters in font doesn't show up in Illustrator, but visible for that font in Acrobat
Editing PDF in illustrator.
I dont know why, but the Latin and also Latin Extended font in document is throwing me missing characters in illustrator.
Font: Lobster (fonts.google.com)
I havent had any problem with this yet. Any tips?
Also I had a word "wellness". "welnes" was in correct font and another "s" was missing character...

Illustrator 27.3.1 Typing bug
Hi all, its a weird bug on Illustrator 27.3.1 which were lot unstable issue of version.
as video u can see :
- When I typed 1st word「背」it fine !
- But when I typed second word 著，illustrator just kept add my 1st word（被：its a same prononciation but different look in chinese ) on the right side
🌟 Before 27.3.1 , all good ! this version caused software lot lagging too !
Laptop Version：
MacOS 13.2.1 (for now）
Apple Silicon Chip M1 Max

Align on a selection not working - Illustrator 27.3.1
When selecting the 2 points of a line, the "align to a selection" is not available.
However, it worked yesterday, before upgrading to 27.3.1.
What I want to do is select the first point of the line, then the second, and when I click "align horizontally to center", the first point should align with the second.
Instead of that, the entire line is centered on the artboard.1 vote -
When pasting a line with a gradient stroke it gets converted into a path
When copy and pasting a line (with a line gradient) Illustrator converts the line to an outline path. See video.

Jaggy / Pixelated prints from Illustrator
Illustrator only produces pixelated / jaggy print-outs. This issue persists at least since 2008. I suspect a printing engine that is made for PostScript printers. I only use normal printers (laser and ink jet, large and small).
ALL other apps print fine on these machines / systems / printers. The same vector document printed from Ai is jaggy - printed from other apps looks fine. -See attachment:

export as artboard does not work
when i open illustrator and do my work lets say like 8 artboards and i want to save them one by one different pdf files when i do save as and say only artboard number 1 it does not save only 1 it saves whole other artboards with it too i notice that only because it consumes too much space and i can only see the other hidden artboards if i open the saved pdf with illustrator only

Zooming on macOS 13.2.1 (22D68) and Illustrator 27.3.1 (and previous version) is h-e-l-l
When zooming in with my Apple Trackpad (external but also with the build in one) zoom is not smooth and lags. MacBook Pro M1 Max. My colleague didn't experience this while being on the latest Illustrator version, until they updated to the latest macOS version (from 12 to 13, Intel MacBook Pro). So my assumption there is a compatibility issue over there with macOS. The experience while zooming with GPU is normally smooth, but now it is worse then zooming in CPU mode. Changing, rebooting and reinstalling didn't work.

Hauptmenü nicht sichtbar
Jedes mal wenn ich Illustrator öffne zeigt sich die Startseite nicht. Das Einzige was zu sehen ist, ist die Oberste Leiste (Datei Bearbeiten Objekt etc) der Rest des Screens ist grau. Wenn ich mit der Maus an bestimmte Stellen klicke funktioniert noch alles, ich kann nur nichts außer grau sehen. Auch wenn ich über die obere Leiste eine neue Datei erstellen will, zeigt es mir nur ein graues Fenster an (ich kann also nicht sehen wo ich z.b das Format einstellen kann). Sobald ich dann eine Datei geöffnet habe funktioniert ales wieder und ich sehe alles in der Datei, nur…

Windows版27.3.1で現行版MS-IME利用時にCtrl+ホイール移動でフリーズ
Windows版27.3.1+MS-IMEが現行版（旧バージョンにしていない）の場合、Ctrl+マウスホイールによる横スクロールを実行するとフリーズします
- Windowsの設定で、日本語IMEの全般設定で「以前のバージョンのMicrosoft IMEを使う」をOFFの状態（デフォルト状態）
- 27.3.1で新規ファイルを作成する
- Ctrl+マウスホイールで横スクロールを繰り返す
この操作のみでフリーズし、一切の操作がきかなくなります。
「以前のバージョンのMicrosoft IMEを使う」をONにすることで回避はできますが、従来の27.2ではこの問題は起きていませんでした。

Align to key object isn't working
Align to key object not working. When I click to align the non-key object moves to a random but specific place on the file, it is not aligning to the art board but to a random half-way straddling the edge of the art board. Please fix this asap, I can't really use Illustrator without being able to align objects on the page. We pay a lot for this program!

Illustrator after 5 mins starts loading continuously
Once opening my cloud file after 5 mins the cursor starts loading & doesn't stop. Making it impossible to save. The only way to stop the issue is to force quit on Mac & reopen, then it'll repeat after 5 mins again

Export as PSD take long time to save, and make the software to freeze
If you try to export to PSD, it will freeze the app, and take long time to save it.

Image Trace make the app freezing (Version: 27.3.1.629)
When you click on image trace, the tracing list option not appear, and also make the software freeze.
This bug appear since I upgrade to the current latest version which is 27.3.1.629

Tool palettes don’t stick to the second monitor.
I use Illustrator in a multi-monitor setup. Tool palettes are on the second screen, while the Document window is on the main monitor.
Since the Update to macOS Ventura if I wake up the Mac after a sleep (or unlock the screen after I locked it) all the tool palettes jump from their position on the second screen to the main screen.
This is always reproducible for me on two different machines under macOS Ventura (13.0–13.2.1) and Illustrator 2013 (27.3.1).

Photoshopフィルターの設定情報がPhotoshopのアンインストールの影響を受ける
テクスチャライザー等のPhotoshop効果系のフィルタープラグインのカスタム設定（例：テクスチャライザーのカスタムテクスチャ設定）がPhotoshopをアンインストールすることにより初期化されてしまう。
macOS11.6.8/Windows10
ver.23〜（恐らく機能実装時から変わっていない）ver.26での例（PhotoshopCC2022がインストールしている状態）
１．ドキュメント上に任意のオブジェクトを作成。
２．効果→テクスチャ→テクスチャライザー…を選択しユーザーインターフェースを開く。
３．テクスチャ選択ドロップダウン横からサブメニューにてカスタムテクスチャを選択する。
４．OKをクリックしカスタムテクスチャを適用する。
５．カスタムテクスチャ設定情報が保存され、Illustratorを再起動してもカスタムテクスチャは有効のままになる。
６．PhotoshopCC2022を環境設定もろともアンインストールする。
７．Illustratorで前述の1〜２の手順にてテクスチャライザーのユーザーインターフェースを開くとテクスチャ選択ドロップダウンからカスタムテクスチャが消えている。現状
Photoshopをアンインストールするとテクスチャライザーのユーザーインターフェースからカスタムテクスチャが消える。期待する挙動
PhotohopをアンインストールしてもIllustrator上のいかなる設定情報も失われない。このPhotoshop効果系のフィルターの設定情報はVer.26及びver.27では「~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop 2022 Settings（Windowsはユーザーディレクトリ配下のAppData/Roaming/Adobe〜）」フォルダの「Adobe 効果 CS6 Prefs」と「Adobe テクスチャライザー CS6 Prefs」に保存されます。
このフォルダはPhotoshopの環境設定フォルダの為、Photoshopのインストール・アンインストールに影響を受けます。
不用意な設定喪失を防ぐ意味においても「Adobe Illustrator <VERSION_NUM> Settings」に保存するように変更するのが理想だと考えます。
PhotoshopをアンインストールすることでIllustratorに影響を及ぼすのは問題だと思います。19 votes
