  1. Adobe Illustrator 26.0.2 on Mac OSX Catalina 10.15.7 will not launch

    I updated to Adobe Illustrator 26.0.2 from 26.0.1. I am on Catalina 10.15.7. Illustrator will not launch and I get the error report with the prompt to send it to Adobe. I restarted my computer and it behaved the same way. I then uninstalled 26.0.2 and re-installed a clean version. Still did not launch. I then uninstalled and installed 26.0.1, which I am using now, but would like to update.

  2. Align / distribute spacing applies x10 multiplier in large-canvas document

    Distribute objects doesn't work properly in a large-canvas document. In the example. I applied a spacing of 2 inches, but a x10 multiplier is automatically applied, so the spacing is actually 20 inches.

  3. Font Active yet not showing on Apps

    I have active fonts on https://fonts.adobe.com/ yet on Photoshop and Illustrator, and other apps, they are not showing up, even after activating 'Missing Fonts' they appear with a small dot • after the font, but not available on display.

    I am up to date on app versions and running macOS BigSur 11.6.1

  4. File Ruined After Updating

    I was working with a slightly outdated version of Illustrator and the program kept acting up and crashed twice, so I saved my files and updated. Right before I did, a file I was working on did this. After the update, the error seems to be permanent.

  5. 文字パネル内でピリオド入力ができない。

    1.OSとAdobe Illustratorのバージョン
    Mac OS Monterey12.0.1/Illustrator26.0.2

    2.問題が発生したときに実行していた手順
    文字パネル内でフォントサイズや行送りなどの調整で小数点を指定する際に.（ピリオド）を入力しても反映されず、整数のみの数字として認識されてしまいます。

    例）1.5pt→15pt

    1. Macの「システム環境設定＞言語と地域」で、優先が「日本語」になっているかを確認。
    2. 右下の「詳細」をクリックして、通貨の単位設定が「通貨＝日本円」、さらにカンマとピリオドが正しく設定。
    3. 上記を正しく設定し、再起動する。

    こちらのレポートは対応完了とさせていただきます。

  6. Illustrator stopped reading certain .tif files after update to version 26.0.2

    My illustrator stopped reading certain .tif files immediately after update to version 26.0.2. I reverted back to 26.0.01 and everything works as usual. I uploaded an example .tif file I had an issue with.

  7. Text increase size turns to white block

    When I am placing a text box, once editing the text, and I try to increase it's Size atall, the fill colour Keeps turning to white on it's own so any text then appears as a weird white block — once I delete the text, part of the box glitches and stays on screen. l am also having issues in being able to use the brush tool, with it just appearing as a symbol. This makes the program unusable. It is a school account

    ご報告いただいた内容を検証した結果、以下の現象を確認いたしました。

    • 環境設定の「プレビュー境界を使用」が有効の場合、特定の効果が適用されているポイントテキストオブジェクトを変形パネルの幅（高さ）サイズフィールドで縦横比固定でリサイズすると、文字が正しくリサイズされない。
    • 文字パネルのフォントサイズでリサイズする場合は、正しく演算される。
    • 環境設定の「プレビュー境界を使用」が無効の場合は、特に問題は発生しない。

    これは、以前のバージョンでも同じ現象が確認できました。

    修正などの開発の進捗がありましたら、こちらで報告いたします。

  9. Transform Again bug 変形の繰り返しバグ

    変形の繰り返しで多数のオブジェクトをサイズ変更すると、サイズが狂う。
    速くすると特に症状がでます。

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.1.0 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  10. new function says it doesn't work

    When using version 26.0.2, the new function says it doesn't work.
    It seems that there is a problem with the patch since this problem occurred after this patch. Please take care of these matters before the end of the year.
    It's not a free program, but I use it every month to get rid of this bug!!!!

  11. Buttons hidden below view for print dialogue

    When my screen view is in large type, the print dialogue popup buttons become hidden out of view below the edge of my screen. It's impossible to resize the dialogue menu and it can't be moved up either. Using command- to make screen elements smaller doesn't make any change. I can make the screen resolution a smaller size, tho to see the whole window. But this defeats the purpose of having my screen settings on large b/c then I can't read the words in the dialogue box.   12. Illustrator will automatically convert color codes of shapes and vectors when a document of different color profile is imported.

    I've seen this issue where people complain about color codes in Ai changing automatically, this leads to brand color codes slight off for most projects. I've discovered this issue myself and apparently when profile mismatch warning box are not checked (i.e Ask when opening, Ask when pasting) Ai will automatically convert the colors without asking. If you import multiple images then the color will be way off after 10 images. This happens when Ai is in sRGB and the photos are either untagged or AdobeRGB or other than sRGB.   13. The video player for tutorials defaults to the top when you open advanced recolor artwork

    I am following along with the tutorial and when I open advanced recolor artwork, the tutorial window is unclickable and jumps back to the top (so you can't follow along anymore) and I have to close out the color tab in order to scroll back down to the video. It is not a huge problem but it is a small problem. Love you Adobe!

  14. Text is Invisible - All Fonts, All Colors, Sizes, View Modes, Etc.

    Windows 10, 12GB RAM, Nvidia 850M, i7-4710HQ (Laptop) - But I have also had this issue on a beefy desktop

    Illustrator Version 26.0.2

    Recent attempts to use illustrator on my desktop and laptop have yielded an app that cannot render text in any form. I have tried every solution offered thus far -- resetting preferences, checking text fill and stroke, ensuring opacity is Normal, etc. and nothing fixes this bug. I have restarted the computer and reinstalled the program. For my work this is a program-breaking bug.

  15. 文字組みアキ量設定や禁則処理設定を含む文字列ペースト結果が不安定

    Windows 10/11の、Illustrator Ver.25.4および26.0.2で起きる不具合です。

    1. 文字組みアキ量設定、禁則処理設定を任意で作成する
    2. それらを適用した文字列を作成する（片方だけでも構わない）
    3. 該当文字列をコピーする
    4. 新規ファイルなどにペーストする

    この場合、文字組みアキ量設定や禁則処理設定はペーストしたファイルと文字列にそのまま反映されるはずですが、反映されず、ペースト先に用意されているプリセットの設定が反映される、または設定「なし」としてペーストされます。
    何度かペーストすると反映される場合がありますが、ペースト時の挙動が不安定としての不具合にナｒいます。

  16. 文字組みアキ量設定の読み込みで名称に「コピー」が付与される

    Illustrator Ver.26.0.2の、文字組みアキ量設定の読み込みに関する不具合です。

    1. 任意名称で文字組みアキ量設定を作成する
    2. 書き出しを使ってmjkファイルを書き出す
    3. 2のファイルを別のファイルで読み込みする

    この結果として、元の名称のまま読み込まれるのではなく、「●● コピー」（●●は元名称）と、必ず「コピー」が付きます。

    Windows 11および、macOS 12.1環境いずれでも発生する問題となっています。

    ご報告いただきました現象を ver.26.0.2 で確認できました。

    同名の文字組み設定がない場合でも、「コピー」が追加された文字組み名として読み込まれているようです。

    今後の開発の進捗がありましたら、こちらで報告いたします。

    Hi, I am having problems with calligraphic brush when I draw with my tablet (XP-Pen Deco 03)

  18. White-to-black gradients in opacity masks don’t go fully transparent

    For opacity masks, 100% White should represent a 100% absence of masking and 100% Black should represent 100% masking (like in Photoshop).

    The current system in Illustrator seems very unintuitive and flawed – a basic white to black gradient does not even totally obscure an image/object at one end of the gradient.

    It shouldn't be the case that you then have further reduce the opacity of the gradient colours to achieve a standard gradient effect.

    Make sure you use RGB black instead of Grayscale black in your gradients when making opacity mask in a RGB-based document to avoid shallow blacks and not fading to a complete zero.

    More on that in the comments.

  19. Live shapes loose their controls in Transform panel once they become a part of a compound shape

    If I have a Rectangle shape and then subtract it from another path with Alt held (to make a live compound shape), I loose ability to change the width and height and rotation of this rectangle.
    That is if I select it with the Direct/Group Selection tool — Transform panel does not show Rectangle Properties section, and Properties panel does not show anything from Transform at all — it has a no selection set of buttons.

    This is crucial because the rectangle I subtract is rotated, and simply editing width and height distorts it.
    Isolation mode does not help.

  20. Coordinates label rendering problem in Overprint Preview mode

    1. Open the file and make sure Overprint Preview mode is on (thus GPU is off)
    2. Pick Direct Selection tool, grab the point and move it The gray label with current coordinates get smeared, like the GIF shows.
