Kerning Issues with latest update
The last Illustrator update has caused havoc with all of my type placement for files saved under the previous version. I tried to change color modes for a project and all of my text shifted (different now between the digital and print versions). This would seem to be a bug; the kerning gets super tight and some of the empty spaces (just the space character) all but disappear, compacting words together. Export for screens too slow when saving PDF multiple times
I use export for screens to export many artboards in PDF for simple vector artwork like brand assets (brandwithtagline, horizontallogo, verticallogo, symbol, brandblue, brandyellow, etc.) everytime I need to export the same file multiple times for Pantone, CMYK and RGB versions of those same artboards, but every time I export, the time it takes increases. For example: one file with 80 artboards take 0:10s to save each artboard as a separte file in Ai format, but takes 2:00s to save in PDF for first batch, then 2:50s for second batch and gets slower and…

folderAlias.resolve() is broken
can't resolve folder alias in mac os

Import SVG, crashing illustrator
I'm on MAC and I'm using the latest versin of Illustrator 25.3.1 and when i import an svg (who come Adobe XD), illustrator do not respond and crash.

The white-filled circle arrowhead has some very strange geometry.
The white-filled circle arrowhead in Support Files/Resources/en_us/Arrowheads.ai has two doubled points in the black circle. This results in unexpected imagery when a path is given this arrowhead, expanded, and has further effects applied.
Screenshots: outline view, and outline view with half of each point pair selected and moved down 1pt.
This was discovered in 25.3.1 but I bet it's been lurking there long enough that it predates your current source control tree. :)

Second line of type (point and area) is picking up the style of the first line when pasting plain text
New to 25.3.1 update, MacOS 11.4. When there are two lines in a point or area type object separated by a return, selecting the entire second line (formatted differently from the first line) and pasting in plain text (copied from a Finder filename) is now picking up the formatting from the first line instead of retaining the formatting from the existing line, as if there were an invisible return character from the first line, or as if it were a continuation of the first line. This is contrary to AI behavior since forever.

ローカルに保存できない（不明なエラー）
Windows10 64bit pro
Illustrator2021（Var.25.3.1)不明なエラーでローカルに保存できません。
・何も配置していないドキュメントでも保存できない。
・ai/eps/svg/pdfどの形式でも保存できない。
・クラウドなら保存できます。・Illustratorをインストールし直しても無理。
・Illustrator2020にダウングレードしても無理。
（2021にアップグレードする前はできていた）

Doesn't open cloud files
Illustrator just couldn't open a file saved in the cloud.
This issue only occurring when a file was double-clicked. When I single click on the file, it opens normally after installation.

テキストの半角スペースに点が現れる
Ver 25.3.1 windows
25.3.1にバージョンアップすると突然テキストの半角スペースにピリオドが現れました。
1. テキストに半角スペースを打つ
2. テキストに線幅を入れて縁取りにする
3. その線の線端を丸型線端にするするとスペース部分に点が現れます。テキストをアウトライン化すると消えますが、そのままPDF書き出しすると残ります。

ご報告いただいた「ver.25.3.1 でテキストに丸型線端の線幅が追加されると、半角スペースに点が表示される」問題を修正した、Illustrator 2021（ver.25.4.1）を一般リリースいたしました。
Creative Cloud デスクトップアプリケーションから、製品版のアップデートが可能となっておりますので、動作をお確かめください。

Color changes when saving as .eps
Saving out a pattern with a purple background as .eps turns out as black when previewing the file on the computer or in pdf-reader and when opened on other computers. Opening the file back into illustrator still shows everything as purple.

v 25.3.1においての現象。

コメントにてご回答いただいた情報をもとに、最新版「ver.26.2.1」での検証も行いましたが、クラッシュ現象が再現できませんでした。

Selected UI field not readable
The existing contents of all UI fields go blank/white when they are double/triple clicked to manually enter a value.
I would expect the existing value to be highlighted/selected in grey so that they're legible.

Illustrator running really slow, no GPU preview
Hi Illustrator 25.3.1 is running horribly slow on my MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018) / 2.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 / 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 / Radeon Pro 555X 4 GB - it is constantly running CPU Preview, I cannot get it to use GPU. Zoom in and out is awful to use. Illustrator is impeding my productivity. Please help.

Save document popup does not correspond to the current document
When closing a document that is not the current working document, the save dialog pops up but the only the currently active document is shown making it difficult to see which document the save dialog refers to. This is handled correctly in Photoshop but not Illustrator
Repro:
Open Illustrator
Create two new documents
With the type tool write on the empty artboard of the first untitled doc "Important work"
Click on the document tab for the second untitled document and with the type tool write on the empty artboard "Useless garbage"

Fill appeared outside of outline on single copied object once when duplicating all objects multiple times
Work was done in Illustrator 25.2.3 under Mojave 10.14.6. A screenshot showing the fill separated from the outline as well as a simplified/de-branded version of the 5-up document with only the problem art and a section of non-problem art (for relative position reference) left in place are attached.
In Illustrator, the customer's AI file was opened and stepped 4 times to produce a 5-up document (as has been done countless times before on similar files). Scripting window keeps appearing and no way to remove it
Uninstalling/Reinstalling does not remove prompt. Starting appearing after most recent update to with the new ipad features. Going back to older version, the window doesn't appear.

We heard from some users that above solution is not working for them, we are investigating this issue. Meanwhile users can try the below workaround
Create a JSX file with the following content:
app.preferences.setBooleanPreference(“ShowExternalJSXWarning”, false);
Save the above JSX file. Now, go to File > Scripts > Other Script, and choose the newly saved jsx file.This will suppress the warning dialog and run the script.

Transparency not working once saved to pdf or opened in photoshop
I have open a file previously worked on, and when I save to pdf the effects created with transparency are not working at all, as if they are not there.

open ai files can crash Mac system
When opening an AI file which linking more (about 10) high resolution image files, the whole of my late 2017 version iMac is crashed with dark screen. It need to restart the system and open AI again. It was successful to reopen the initial AI file, but it's crashed again to open the next AI file with high resolution image files linking.

日本語入力時に英数キーで確定されます
macOS Hi Sierra/Catalina/Big Sur
Adobe Illustrator CC2017〜2021（それ以前の可能性も有）Macには独自の日本語テキスト入力のシステムがあります。
入力した文字を確定する前に「英数キー」を2度連打すると
半角アルファベットに変換されます。
「かなキー」を2度連打すると再変換することができます。CS5までのIllustratorとすべてのPhotoshopではこのシステムが有効です。
しかし、IllustratorCCでは「英数キー」「かなキー」での
変換ができません。
日本語を入力中に「英数キー」を押すと変換されず確定されます。私はMacOS X10.3から長くこのシステムに慣れているので
現在のIllustratorの仕様は誤入力につながり不便です。1 vote
