Text cursor/text selection is invisible when inside group, and getting text cursor is jittery at best.
The text cursor and text highlight selection don't appear when inside grouped text. Also getting the text cursor vs the selection cursor is very jittery. I'm running ai 25.0.1 on a 2017, 5K iMac, os Big Sur 11.1. I've attached videos of the poor functionality.

App Window size enlarges to fill all available Monitor space
Have the window fill 60% of monitor space instead of 100%, so user can select the window size according to needs.

'Save As' isn't working at all
Can't save anything or export PDF etc. through "Save As"

iCloud drive
Illustrator thinks links are gone when files are being stored in iCloud Drive (even though the cloud version is still in the same folder on my computer). Please allow Illustrator to download linked files in iCloud Drive automatically so I don't have to download and relink manually.

Back button in Libraries is not clickable
In the Libraries panel I cannot click the Back button. It's not clickable.

Import Multi Page PDF Font Outlined
Single page import retain font formatting but automatically outlined when multi page PDF imported. Can this be fix? thanks.

Missing transparency in placed PDFs
I do have issues with Illustrator displaying transparencies of placed PDFs as solid.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open a new document.
- Draw two partially overlapping rectangles with different colors.
- Set he opacity of the frontmost rectangle to 50%.
- Save this document as a PDF with setting Illustrator Standard (see attached file).
- Open a second document.
- Place the PDF file.
Expected result:
The topmost rectangle should be displayed with transparency.
Actual result:
The topmost rectangle is not transparent.
If you save the document with the placed PDF itself as PDF file, the rectangle is still transparent, so this is a display issue…

Workflow issues
I’m recently using Adobe Illustrator in a MacBook Pro M1 and it’s a huge struggle get things done. Crashes all the time in every move I make... I’m working for hours in something that in normal conditions I would spend 1 hour (maximum).

Generally cumbersome, especially copying and pasting.
Just a horrible program all together. Whatever happened to the Illustrator of days past? I think the program has become SO complex as it has "evolved" that it has become bogged down and quirky. Just to try to copy and paste a whole segment made up of multiple points is irritating. Why can't it paste a section, as opposed to just select segments of an object, when I choose the selection tool to do this. (I know not to use the direct selection tool for this).
It is just SO cumbersome, and without a lot of the commands or nice…

Offset Path value in Large canvas becomes smaller ten times when the effect is used again
When using a large canvas and doing an Offset path, if I offset a path by say 5mm, the next time I use the tool only 0.5mm shows in the dialog box. Not a big issue, but an error nonetheless.

unknown error when trying to finish my design.
try to ADJUST MY DESIGN AND ALL I GET IS UNKNOWN ERROR POPUPS. it also reverted some of the work i did. this is absolutely ridiculous! i cant adjust a thing!!!!!!

Unwanted horizontal text scaling
Illustrator will apply horizontal scaling to text when I am working on different part of the document. This even happens to text that is on a hidden layer. So far I have failed to "catch Illustrator in the act" so can't say what leads up to it happening. I just look at the text and it is magically scaled! Bah!

App tile has a grey background in Windows 10 start menu
The tile for Illustrator has a grey background in the Windows 10 start menu, which other apps like Photoshop don't have.

Created actions missing after restart
I recorded an action for export in dxf and pdf several times. After each restart it is gone. But I created an action for saving in pdf only, this is still there.

Illustrator font panels shows wrong data
When I have a text selected on Illustrator, the fonts panel shows a wrong font, it shows a font what I previously selected for a different text and not the font that the selected text actually is.
in other words, I cannot see what font is used unless I copy the text, and find the font that looks the same.Same thing with font size etc. if I have a text active and the font size is for example 47 px, and I just changed a different text size to 15 px, the fonts panel shows that all of my…

Color Nightmares in 2021 version!! Nothing matches or stays the same!
Colors are NOT staying the same between HEX values and RGB settings in Illustrator 2021. WE are having a major shitstorm here on this as we are finalizing a Brand Manual and NOTHING is matching of staying the same when we reopen the file. HELP!!!!
And some RGB colors are showing up as BLACK in the color sliders when they are NOT black at all!

Apple M1 Illustrator tool problem
I am using the new iMac mini with M1 chip and I am trying to use illustrator for the first time. Photoshop works great, InDesign works fine...but illustrator has issues. All of the tools in the tool bar, when I try to select a line, type, point, etc. are shaky and flashing other tool symbols in a strobe-like effect. I need to use this app! Please help!
