  1. (PARM) Error??

    I keep getting an error pop up, 'Operation cannot complete due to an unknown Error (PARM) Error...This is happening when I'm trying to copy or paste things/ move things about // just in general It seems to happen all of the time. Is there a fix for this issue? it's driving me mad.

    I am running Illustrator version 25.4.1

    And running Mac OS big Sur 11.6

  2. Width Stroke gets lost with Draw Inside mode

    When we draw inside an object the stroke from the object loose any width variations, that feature will help a lot.

  3. Objects copied to clipboard are not preserving SVG Format as expected

    Objects copied to clipboard do not have the same SVG formatting as previous versions of Illustrator when pasted as text to other programs.

    Illustrator has a feature that lets you copy objects to your clipboard and paste them to other programs as SVG code. This is found under Preferences > Clipboard Handling > Include SVG Code.

    2021 (25.4.1) isn't handling the SVG code as 2020 (24.3) and previous versions did. Instead of neatly formatted SVG code, you get an unformatted mess that is... just a mess. I don't know if this is even XML.

  5. 配置画像のリンク切れ

    macOS Big Sur ver.11.5.2 Illustrator ver.25.3.1 M1Universal

    intele MacでパッケージをしたデータをIllustrator ver.25.3.1 M1Universalで開くと画像のリンクが全て外れます。
    またリンクフォルダから1つ配置し直すと本来は全て自動的に読み込み再リンクされますが、これもされず全画像リンク処理をしなければなりません。

  6. Fix Creative Cloud - files can't be retrieved but cloud says no sync errors

    Operating system: MacOS Big Sur Version 11.6
    Adobe Illustrator: 25.4.1

    Trying to open a cloud document but they don't seem to exist/can't be opened as I cannot access my docs in the cloud.
    I have restarted, updated etc etc and still, when I want to access my cloud docs Illustrator says "Something went wrong, please restart the app and try again"
    I've also tried accessing from the Creative Cloud app where I have gone to my library and my cloud documents, nothing loads up - it just spins seemingly forever.
    Weirdly though, in Illustrator on my iPad Pro it says…

  7. AI 25.4.1 GPU performance still very slow, cannot easily editing previous version files

    Since AI 25.2 I've had problems editing files. With GPU features enabled, all UI functions, selecting, deselecting, all mouse dragging functions, menu selections are all extremely slow to respond, I'm talking several seconds between responses to clicks and movement. Turning off "Real Time Editing" helps somewhat, delays are shortened, but still very difficult to work with. Disabling Animated-zoom has no effect. Disabling GPU entirely, improves selection and dragging, but there is still a delay of several seconds after releasing the mouse button.   8. AiRobin using 16-24% CPU constantly

    Every time Illustrator is opened (and sometimes after it is closed) AIRobin uses cpu constantly even when no files are opened.

    1. OS: Windows 10 Pro ver:2004 build:19041.1165
    2. Illustrator Beta 26.0.667

    4. my expected result is for it to only use CPU when a task is needed

  9. Multi-Selection Lag on M1 MacBook Pro

    When selecting multiple objects or points, Illustrator will lag consistently throughout the process and the objects will "stick" to your cursor. So the previously selected objects end up being moved while trying to select more objects.

  10. libraries panel not working in Beta 26.0 642 Mac

    Running MacOS beta 12.0 beta and the libraries panel fails saying i need to install the latest version of CC libraries. I have done that. Note the libraries panel works fine in Photoshop beta and all the other CC applications.

  12. copy and paste random color change

    1.macbook pro 2021, big sur 11.4
    2. version 25.3.1

    within the same file, when I copy and paste an element, the fill is changing. the same issue does not occur when option dragging the drawing. it happens repeatedly. The fill that is changing is a colored pattern fill. It has happened with all "original" colorations (ie it does not only happen when using the light blue fill like in the movie. but they all change to the same yellow fill like in the movie.)

  13. Small caps do not work for Libertinus font (open type font)

    The small caps feature does not work for the Libertinus Serif font (https://github.com/alerque/libertinus) in Illustrator. Only some of the letters get capitalized. It does, however, work with Libertinus Serif Display. (different variant of the same font family) This issue (from the font development page) contains more information: https://github.com/alerque/libertinus/issues/482
    Other programs like LibreOffice don't have this issue and render the small caps correctly, so it may be that there is an issue in Illustrator.

    To reproduce: just download and install the Libertinus font, create a new document, add some text, apply the Libertinus Serif font and activate small caps…

  14. Save on your computer or to Creative Cloud Dialog

    When Preferences under User Interface -> UI Scaling is set to large then the "Save on your computer or to Creative Cloud" is cut off and input boxes are cut off. The sizing is not right.

  15. CC libraries wont open after 2x reinstalling in AI in beta version for windows

    I m trying to use the colors swatches in a project and now I guess ill have to do it manually . I have enclosed 3 screen shots

    .CC libraries keeps saying it needs to be updated in the Beta version of A I(desktop) . I did the cleaner and install twice and the error still comes up

  16. Single click on a radial gradient with gradient tool does nothing...

    When using the gradient tool on a radial gradient, a single-click should move the center of the gradient to the click location. This only works if the gradient annotator is turned on, otherwise nothing happens. See attached video.

  17. Export as JPG changes file name

    New issue in recent update: 25.4.1

    When exporting a file as an image (JPG, PNG etc.), and while in the first dialogue window, if you select JPG (or other file type) BEFORE selecting your path/folder, the file name picks up/swaps to the folder name.

    BUT, if you choose your file path/folder first, and then file type (JPG, PNG, etc.) it works fine.

    Huge time suck.

  19. Unable to Export as PDF using Export for screens

    Unable to export as PDF using Export for screens.

    I am trying to export for screens both JPG and PDF.
    JPG is working as always but the problem is the PDF. \
    I cannot even save one single vector rectangle.

    FYI, I am using MacBook Air M1.
    It worked before.

    What is wrong? cannot work now.

  20. Refreshing the display with GPU-View activated seems to be buggy

    While some of the GPU-related glitches seem to be fixed wich the actual Version 25.4 (at least on my iMac here), there is still some strange behaviour that seems to occur on every version newer than 25.0:

    Everytime I open a document, the workspace turns black for a moment. That is not a big problem, but strange, as it never happened in 25.0 or older.

    Second, there are quite often problems in refreshing the display, when moving around in the illustration or copying/dragging objects around. The display gets crippled (blank spaces, where they should not be) and I have to…
