  1. Gradients Swatch Box Snaps Back

    When expanding the box to see your gradient fill it immediately snaps back to the letterbox default. I cannot gauge the color gradients very well without enlarging the viewable gradient area.
    Its a bug that needs fixing.

  2. Illustrator does not open files or create new files; macOS High Sierra 10.13.3

  3. New preview mode

    BUG in the new CC 2019 Version. Preview mode forces it's way for some reason during use. Screen becomes blank- only a restart brings back document.

  4. Illustrator CC 2019, Very Slow New Document Opening

    Opening speed of new documents is too slow. I press Cmd+N, 5 seconds is definitely waiting.

    Mac os 10.14 Mojave
    iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017)
    3,6 GHz Intel Core i7
    16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

  5. Saving ai files in illustrator cc 2019 takes +30 minutes to do

    Hi there. I have a Macbook Pro 2012 with 16GB ram and OS Mojave. I downloaded illustrator 2019 on 18/19 Oct and I was working in it fine until yesterday when my files take forever to save meaning that my mac is frozen for approx. 30 minutes. Its super frustrating

  6. stuck in preview

    I just updated Illustrator and somehow while I was working it went into preview mode and I cant get it out. I can change the type of preview but cant get it out of it so I can edit my work

  8. Artboard border obstructs topmost and leftmost rows of pixels at 100% zoom

    In AI CC 2018 and 2019, on Windows 10 Home 64 bit, the black border of artboards overlaps the top row and left column of pixels in the image when zoomed to 100%. (For 2019, Pixel Preview must be on to properly see this because of https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-bugs/suggestions/35736118-100-view-is-not-100-for-pixels-in-cc2019)

    The attached screenshot shows a 16x11px artboard zoomed way in on the left, and at 100% on the right, plus an 8x version I added so it can be seen better. Clearly part of the white outline is obstructed by the the black border of the artboard. Not good!

  9. saved workspace not the same after 22.1 update

    After 22.1 update my workspace is missing saved tool of Symbol, Brush, & Graphic style libraries. Only cloud character library is okay. Reset workspace in menu doesn't work.

  10. Illustrator hangs when opening a file or creating a new one

    Windows 7 Professional with all the latest updates.

    I tried the following Illustrator Versions:

    V 23.0 and V 22.1

    Illustrator opens as usual and I see the overview screen. When I select a file or try to create a new one it just loads forever. Nothing happens. Also in task manager there is nothing going on. No high cpu or memory usage.

    I worked for years with Illustrator on this machine. Version 22.1 always worked. The issue appeared after updating to the latest version. I also uninstalled the latest version but the issue still remains. Any idea of how to…

  11. Template files (.ait) use/show the Adobe Swach Exchange (.ase) icon in Windows Explorer

    It's pretty much what the title says, .ait files show up in Explorer with the .ase icon. Everything works as expected though, double clicking it will open a new file in Illustrator, so this is purely a cosmetic issue.

    does a reinstall help? for some error it seems your registry entries have gone corrupt.

  12. Mac - Double click top bar to expand window no longer works.

    Double clicking the top bar used to expand the AI window to fit screen. No longer works on Mac AI 2019

  14. Glyph selection panel shows low resolution / blurry in Illustrator 23.0 on scaled UI

    Once you scale the UI or when the application auto scales Glyph panel based on resolution. the elements in the panel look blurry

    We have added this issue to our backlog. Meanwhile Please use the UI scaling preferences to scale down UI to low value and resolve the issue.

  15. Extreme long open of 2017 illustrator seem to stop on perspective plug-in

    Slow Slow Slow... plug-in that are not used should be able to disable to make illustrator start up faster. Extremely long startup.

  16. Tool tips are popping up without permission.

    In my preferences, I have "Show Tool Tips" un-checked. However I am getting interrupted with tool tips when doing stuff. Stop being so pesky!

  17. Microsoft Surface pro 5 pen + Adobe illustrator cc2018 pen tool issues

    Hello..

    I installed Adobe CC 2018 and some other softwares on Miscrosoft Surface Pro 5.

    But, I found an issues in the Adobe Illustrator cc2018 and cc2017 when I used a surface pro 5 pen + "pen tool", it is often unable to click. This issues sometime also occurs when using surface pro 5 pen + the "brush tool" and "hand tool".
    But somehow, when using a mouse, everything becomes normal.

    Then I tried to use the surface pro pen on Adobe Photoshop + pen tool, and it's all normal.

  18. SVGs not aligning properly unless title layer is deleted.

    When I import an image in SVG format the alignment tools do not work properly to align the image with other elements on the artboard. I've found a work around for this, deleting the "title" layer of the SVG in the layers panel seems to allow it to work properly. There is no graphic information in the title layer as far as I'm aware so why does it affect how the alignment tools work?   19. Hidden dialogue/tip box behind application. Can't close or click anywhere in Illustrator. Just a beep

    Within a few seconds of opening a document in CC 2018, a hidden dialogue box pops up behind the application, blocking any ability to click on options in the app until that box is closed. Problem is the box is hidden and nowhere to be found so all you hear is a beep each time you try to press anything. Force quit is the only option and this means not a single bit of work can get done. On Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.3
