  1. Problem with raster image transparency in the artistic brush

    When using a raster image with transparency in the artistic brush, a white halo appears.

  2. SVG保存時にスワッシュ字形等が書き出されない

    macOS 14.7.2 iMac27inch
    Illustrator ver.29.3.1

    再現手順
    1. 新規ドキュメントを開きアートボード上に「Air」と入力し欧文フォント（スワッシュ字形が有効なもの）を指定する。
    2.OpenTypeパネルの「スワッシュ字形」と「タイトル用字形」をクリックする。
    3.SVG形式で保存。その際、フォントをサブセットで埋め込む。
    4.ブラウザ等で確認するとスワッシュ字形等がデフォルトの字形で表示される。

    期待する結果
    スワッシュ字形やタイトル用字形が正しく表示される。

    実際の結果
    スワッシュ字形やタイトル用字形が標準字形になる。

    SwashやTitlingAlternatesはスタイルに対してfont-feature-settings等の設定が必要になりますが、Illustratorはそういった設定を保存しません。また、フォントサブセットを保存した場合でも標準字形のグリフが保存されます。

    1. open a new document, type "Air" on the artboard, and specify a western font (with swash glyphs enabled).
    2. Click "Swash" and "Titling Alternates" in the OpenType panel.
    3. Save the file in SVG format. (Embed the font as a subset.)

  3. Please allow files to reopen after crash/restart/reopen

    Please please Adobe - why is it almost every other company has managed to give us the option to reopen after quit with the same files open but you still haven't?? Today Creative Cloud told me I had 7 updates available and I thought, ok great, maybe just maybe the illustrator one fixes my snap to point problem. So I had to take a photo of what docs I had open (!), quit Illustrator and go back to Creative Cloud to do the update... only to find that it had changed its mind and I only had two updates but…

  4. Align art to pixel grid applied by default when adding vector images to CC libraries

    Steps to reproduce: Select a vector graphic in an Adobe Illustrator file and click the Add ("+") icon at the bottom of the Libraries panel. Choose "Graphic." (note: the Illustrator file containing the graphic does not have "Align art to pixel grid" applied.)

    Expected result: The newly created library asset should not have "Align art to pixel grid" applied.

    Actual result: The library asset has "Align art to pixel grid" applied.

    I'm forced to uncheck "Align art to pixel grid," close, and then re-open the library asset. This removes "Align art to pixel grid" about half the time.

  5. CJKフォントを指定したテキストに文字間のカーニングをメトリクスやオプティカルを設定するとSVGフィルタのレンダリング結果が元の位置より上に上がる

    1. ポイントテキストをドキュメント上に作成し、任意のテキストを入力する。
    2.作成したテキストに任意のSVGフィルタを適用する。
    3.テ文字間のカーニングをメトリクスに設定する。
    4.SVGフィルタのレンダリング結果がテキストの一より上に動く。

    期待する結果
    テキストの位置に対して正確な位置にSVGフィルタのレンダリング結果が配置される。

    実際の結果
    漢字やカナ等の全角ボディを持つグリフが欧文ベースラインで仮想ボディの下部を強制的に揃えた状態でレンダリングされる。

  7. 'Audodesk' instead of 'Autodesk' when exporting DWG

    I’ve noticed that when exporting as Autodesk RealDWG, the pop-up progress bar actually says Audodesk. Spelling Mistake.

  8. Scaling of markers in graphs no longer works properly

    Scaling of markers in graphs no longer works properly. Per the online documentation at https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/graphs.html:

    “The design is scaled so that the backmost rectangle in the design is the same size as the default square marker on the line or scatter graph.”

    This is how it used to work. Now it scales the markers down to fit in the default marker’s bounding box, which creates absurdly small results (screenshot attached, showing the size that should be generated per the documentation versus what actually happens). I've tried this multiple times and always get the same incorrect result.

    Illustrator 29.2.1 on MacOS…

  10. 2024バージョンで保存したのに、2025バージョンで開くと更新ダイアログで2024より前のバージョンで作成されたデータと表示され、更新箇所を確認できない

    2025で開いたときに更新箇所を確認したいので、2024で別名保存して、2025で開くと、以下の表示が出ます。
    「このファイルには旧バージョンのillustratorで作成されたデキスとが含まれています。テキストレイアウトが更新されることで、文字の配置が変わる場合があります。・ファイルを閉じる場合には「キャンセル」を選択します。・テキストレイアウトを更新してファイルを開く場合には「OK」を選択します」

    何度やり直しても、「更新を確認」のボタンがあるダイアログがでません。

    2024のバージョン：28.7.5(64bit)
    2025のバージョン：29.3.1(64bit)

  11. Bullet or numbered list incorrectly applying when copying text boxes

    If text that has a bullet or numbered list applied to it runs across a joined text box, the list effect will be applied to all the text before it in the duplicated text box.

  12. コントロールパネルから塗りや線の色を変更する際、カラースライダーに数値を入力してからスライダーを動かすと数値やスライダーやカラースペクトルの表示が消える

    コントロールパネルから塗りや線画を変えるためにカラースライダーに数値を打ち込んだ後スライダーをマウスでドラッグするとカラーパネルに表示されているカラースライダーやカラースペクトルなどの表示が消える。それまで打ち込んでいたカラーの数値が変わったり変わらなかったりする。

  13. Export Assets (Elements) as SVG results in additional content in exported file

    When exporting assets as SVG using Asset Export panel, additional content is added — content that I exported weeks ago. When using "artboards" to export everything is correct.

  14. Area type vertical alignment and auto size doesn't work

    I've been using Illustrator on my Intel Mac under Sequoia and last versions lets you choose center, bottom or justify alignment but it always acts as top and the auto size option is disabled.

  15. カラーピッカーバグ

    文字に適用した効果、光彩（外側）でカラーピッカーを起動しスポイトで画面の色を吸い取った後、吸い取ったカラーのグラデーション上に表示される円を移動すると全く関係のない色に勝手に変化してしまいます。

  16. Launching Ai without the application frame places the document window behind the tool panel

    When I startup Illustrator without the application frame it often misplaces my document so it's tucked behind the tools panel — sometime it is where it is supposed to be.

  17. TIF files from Adobe Libraries are not supported

    TIF files from Adobe Libraries are not supported in Illustrator. This has been a problem for at least a year now that needs to be fixed. Unfortunately, we have had to create jpeg files and relink the graphics for all of our clients. I am unsure why that file type would not be supported.

  18. Right-click menu appears in wrong location

    Right-click menu appears far below the cursor. If clicked low enough on my secondary monitor, the menu appears on my MacBook Pro's internal monitor (arranged below my external display). Photos showing this behavior attached. Has been happening for quite a while now and driving me crazy, figured it would've been been fixed by now.

  19. Text editing issues in regular and large canvases

    1. Set the regional text to "align both ends, align the last line to the left", which aligns normally in a regular canvas, but cannot align on the right side in a large canvas.
    2. For the text in the same area, adjust the "Scale Spacing" text in the big canvas to overflow on the right. Display normally in regular canvas.

  20. Character styles seem sticky, sluggish

    The character styles dialog seems very sluggish, sometimes being unresponsive for a minute. So far no crashes, but a major pain having to wait for the styles to register changes....
