  1. Deleting Successive Artboards

    If you have a list of artboards and try and delete several of them in a row, deleting one will deselect the list. This is not a major issue in most cases, but it is a nuisance when having to quickly delete 40 or more artboards; it doubles the number of commands that need to be inputted before reaching the same result.

    We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 23.0.

  2. "CANT" ERROR

    Have updated to newest version of Illustrator and now get this warning on launch. Program does open but with no preset preferences available.

    Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but there is no improvement.

  3. New swatch is NOT global by default

    1. Use the color panel to customize a fill or stroke color.
    2. Drag the fill or stroke box into the body of the Swatches panel to create a swatch for the color.
    3. Swatch is not global as stated in https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/whats-new.html

  5. Transparency mask not displaying correctly, exporting error

    When using transparency mask, strange bars of masked areas appear in the artwork. This error occurs in when I export the graphic as a jpeg, etc.

  6. CC 2018: The 'undo count' button in preferences is not responding

    Basically, I can click it but it doesn't respond.
    It's impossible to change the value.

  7. Trackpad zooming causing an earthquake on Illustrator CC 2018

    Zooming in via the trackpad causes an unexpected earthquake-like glitch. Zooming in via keyboard shortcuts work as expected.

    Also, at the end of the video, I show off the full screen bug, which has been present since CC 2017 version after updating to High Sierra. This also happens in probably all other applications (its like this too I believe in Ps and Id) Thought that would've been fixed by now! Thanks.

  8. Zoom to Selection Doesn't Work within Text

    When I zoom in on Illustrator CC (21.1.0) it works great, zooming in on the object I have selected. The problem occurs when I have a bit of text within a larger textbox selected. When I zoom in, instead of centering around the object, it zooms in on the center of my screen, often putting the selected type out of sight.

    (If I have the textbox itself selected, it's fine. It's just if I'm using the type tool to select and edit type.)

  9. Ctrl+F

    Antigamente, o ctrl+F (colar no local) colava a forma no mesmo local independentemente da camada ou artboard. Hoje ele cola apenas na mesma camada na qual foi recortado ou copiado. Isso é muito ruim pois temos que direcionar para a camada desejada manualmente. Acho que isso é um bug visto que a função perde o sentido.

  10. Allow Shift + arrows in an input field to always add 10 (like in Photoshop) instead of rounding up to a 10 first

    In illustrator if you change sizes using shift + arrows in the top bar, it rounds up to the nearest 10 and then goes up in 10s. In photoshop it doesn't round up just increases by 10.

    I think it would be better to be able to choose which mode to use as sometimes I prefer either depending on what I am doing.

  11. Kerning information in character panel not displaying correctly

    Illustrator 21.1.0 (64 bit)

    Create a text box with some text, set kerning to Auto
    Create another text box with some text, set kerning to Optical.

    Select first text box, the kerning will display as auto but on the drop down menu optical is ticked.

    The drop down menu will always display the last used option as ticked, regardless of what the current selection is set at.

  12. release to layers not working

    release to layers not working. Does it for 1 group or sublayer, but not for all of them. Had to open CC 2014 to get it to work.

  13. Meta data in SVG file ignored

    Meta data defined in a svg file are ignored by AI when opening file so no more available once the file is saved. Option shall allow keep or ignore meta data in an svg file to avoid broking the file.

  14. IllustratorSaveOptions in C# .NET is not working anymore as expected

    For more than a decade the following Illustrator script has been applied via C# .NET in combination with all existing Illustrator versions (sourcecode):

    saveOptions.Compatibility = typelib.AiCompatibility.aiIllustrator8;
    saveOptions.FlattenOutput = typelib.AiOutputFlattening.aiPreserveAppearance;

    All over the internet we see a lot of people using the same code above (applying the exact same idea) also in other programming languages.

  15. Can only open 1 Ai file at a time

    Can only open one Ai file at a time. If current Ai file open is open in Illustrator and you try to open another file concurrently through all means, it will not open. The only way around this is to open each file in a different version of Illustrator, or completely close Ai to open the new file.

    After that, an error (1346458189 ('PARM')) occurs with high probability.
    Closed processing is closed up to what is not closed or can not be closed
    It looks like a bug.

  17. Repeat scale

    1. Scale an object NON UNIFORMLY using Scale tool.
    2. Select new object.
    3. Option-click to choose point of scaling and bring up dialog box.
    4. The previous NON-UNIFORM scale percentages are displayed, but UNIFORM is highlighted. Clicking the radio button next to NON-UNIFORM simply applies the UNIFORM value to the NON-UNIFORM values.

  18. Stop Button not Working

    If I open something but I changed my mind, I see there's a stop button while it's loading, but I can click on that stop button all I want, it doesn't want to stop. What's the point of having a stop button then?

  20. Illustrator will not start. Adobe Illustrator quit unexpectedly during the previous launch....Run Diagnostics or Launch Ilustrator

    Illustrator was working fine for the last year on this computer and yesterday decided it did not want to start anymore. All other adobe products open just fine, except illustrator. I've been searching for the last hour for answers and nothing. What gives adobe.

    I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, adobe cc cleaner, deleted prefs, and still keeps crashing.

    Here's what happens:
    1. Click on launch Illustor from Creative Cloud app. The Creative cloud app blinks for a second as if its trying to open illustrator but nothing.
    2. Click on Launch again. Popup - Adobe Illustrator quit unexpectedly....Click Run Diagnostics…
