Pixel preview doesn't refresh correctly until reapplied
Steps to reproduce:
- New document with units set to pixels
- View: 'Snap to pixel' and 'pixel preview' turned on.
- Use the rectangle tool to make a new shape, eg. 20 pixels square.
- Set the fill colour to a high contrast colour (eg. dark grey) and turn off the stroke
- zoom the view, move around.Expected result:
- the rectangle should appear pixel-perfect (sharp) against the pixel grid, with no anti-aliased bluring
- the view should acurately update when I zoom and move around to display pixel perfect artworkActual result:
- the rectangle is bordered by a blured anti-aliased semi-transparent edge pixel, and does not appear pixel perfect
- if I re-toggle 'pixel preview' then the pixel-perfect effect comes back, but I shouldn't need to do this.Steps to reproduce:

zooming issue......looks like other people
Doesn't matter if GPU performance is clicked on.....when I zoom in to a vector drawing to work on it......BOOM....can't see anything.
Please fix.

Steps to repeat: go to Edit/ Keyboard Shortcuts/ "Export Text..."
Then import the text file as a tab delimited data file in a spreadsheet of your choice.In Excel: go to Data/ Get Data/ From File/ From Text/CSV/, select the shortcuts txt file, set the delimiter to 'Tab' and click 'Load'.
Look down the rows and at the menu commands...
Expected behaviour:
Edit/ Keyboard Shortcuts/ "Export Text..." should give me a consistently tab delimited file. This means, in the spreadsheet you should see the shortcut in the next column to the command (same row).Actual behaviour (on both Mac and PC) in Illustrator 26.0.2:
In the exported text file, entries under 'Tools' are tab delimited. However, entries under 'Menu Commands' have no delimiter. In the spreadsheet, the result is the shortcut is in the same cell as as the command name.Impact: the file is useless... or I have to manually add tabs between each Shift, Alt, Ctrl, Cmd, Opt and F string. I can't easilly talk to our users accross Mac and PC about the shortcuts they should use for a given tool or command :(

Artifact lines appear in Illustrator on images with softmasks when Mac OS GPU setting ON (will render on Rip output if downsampled)
To Reproduce:
On Mac OS 12 open the .AI file from the attachment (NativeIllustratorFilesFRESH.zip) in Adobe Illustrator
Ignore the font warnings, but link the images (ignore links for any images not included in zip file)
See the screenshot (artifact.jpg), notice the artifact lines around many of the images
Now save this AI file as a PDF using the Adobe PDF Preset "Illustrator Default"
Open this PDF in Acrobat and ensure "Smooth Images" in Preferences is enabled
Notice the artifact
Now using Acrobats option "Save AS Opimtized" (and this is the most important part) downsample the images to 300 dpi in this PDF
Look at the resulting PDF, now you will see the artifacts regardless of the smooth images setting on or off. If you output this using the APPE rip the artifacts will renderIf you turn off the GPU setting found in "Menu > Illustrator > Preferences > Performance" the artifact disappears from screen. But having this setting off and then creating the PDF doesn't resolve the downsample issue.
On the Windows OS, regardless of GPU setting On or OFF the artifacts never appear. Not in AI, not when images are downsampled or viewed in PDF (regardless of smooth images setting)
Can you fix the MAC version to avoid these artifacts? Basically make the Mac match the Windows behaviour? Especially important is the PDF creation and artifacts appearing after downsampling.

The downsample issue occurs with other software that downsamples images, suchas Callas Toolbox and PitstopEnvironments:

Outline stroke effect only works when applied first
When applying Outline stroke and roughen to a stroke (in order to render its width irregular) you have to actually select Outline stroke from the menu before seleting roughen. It doesn't work when you just rearrange them in the appearance panel.

Character Styles not assigning/sticking
For the last few versions, Character Styles won't assign to text. I've reinstalled at least three times, with and without preferences.

Adobe Illustrator Online Preview Bugs
Hi, I've been facing some problems with the feature that allows to other people preview the file on the web without Adobe. It's an important feature to my company since they can comment and review my work, yet there seems to have lots of problems in the formating. The first 2 images are from the Adobe Illustrator and the other 2 are from the online preview:

Stroke Options for Brushes are not sticky
macOS 12.1
Illustrator 26.0.2A brush is applied to an object, then its appearance is modified through the "Options of Selected Object" dialog box found at the bottom of the Brush Panel.
If later the definition of the original brush is changed — all the modifications done through this dialog box are completely wiped out.
I would expect these settings to be sticky.For example, if I flipped a brush across or scaled it for one path and then changed the colorization method for this brush, I would still expect this particular path to be scaled/flipped in the same way.

Font Active yet not showing on Apps
I have active fonts on https://fonts.adobe.com/ yet on Photoshop and Illustrator, and other apps, they are not showing up, even after activating 'Missing Fonts' they appear with a small dot • after the font, but not available on display.
I am up to date on app versions and running macOS BigSur 11.6.1

文字組みアキ量設定や禁則処理設定を含む文字列ペースト結果が不安定
Windows 10/11の、Illustrator Ver.25.4および26.0.2で起きる不具合です。
- 文字組みアキ量設定、禁則処理設定を任意で作成する
- それらを適用した文字列を作成する（片方だけでも構わない）
- 該当文字列をコピーする
- 新規ファイルなどにペーストする
この場合、文字組みアキ量設定や禁則処理設定はペーストしたファイルと文字列にそのまま反映されるはずですが、反映されず、ペースト先に用意されているプリセットの設定が反映される、または設定「なし」としてペーストされます。
何度かペーストすると反映される場合がありますが、ペースト時の挙動が不安定としての不具合にナｒいます。4 votes -
Export for Screens: ImageType PNG - is not recorded as an action
When i export for screens and select png as export type with a fixed width of 5906 px in my case, then this action is simply not recorded.

Colour Variation when using "Darken" transparency
Why am I getting a colour variation on screen when using the "Darken" mode in the transparency field.
See attached illustrator Pdf.
The "Substrate" spot colour has the "Darken" applied which is layered on top of the colour wedges.
Should the colours of the wedges not display the same irrespective of whether "Overprint Preview" is on or off?4 votes -
パスファインダーの分割をするとズレが起きる
Adobe Illustrator 2021、2022、2022(Prerelease)
２つの上下に重なった絵柄で、下の絵柄の形に沿って上の絵柄を分割をすると、ほんのコンマ数ミリのズレが起きます。
100％や200％の拡大率では見えませんが、30000％とか大きい拡大率だと確認できます。
あとズレているため、余分なパスができてしまい、その後の作業に支障がでます。4 votes -
Filename is no longer selected in Save / Save As / Open dialogs in macOS Mojave
In macOS Mojave only the filename was selected in the Save / Save As... window.
Now nothing is selected so you can't start typing right away or the extension is also included in the selection. So if you need to save multiple versions or need to add a number at the end of a filename you could hit the Right Arrow key and start typing.
If you do that now the cursor moves after the extension, you have to move 4 positions back or delete the extension entirely and then start typing.

Illustrator v26.0.1 will not Save, Save As to Computer or Export (macOS Monterey v12.0.1)
I have tried:
- Full Disk Access
- Deselect Save in Background
- Uninstall and reinstall
- Fully updated

Locked and/or hidden objects still become selected
The object is locked and/or not visible, yet when the layer is selected, all objects including the locked and hidden objects become selected and move when they should not.

Saving to Creative Cloud is Changing My Patterns
This has to do with repeating patterns. I'm using Adobe Illustrator 2021, desktop.
Attached is a picture of 2 circles on a background (shield your eyes, it isn't pretty :-)). When I make the pattern - in this case, the circles were drawn with the blob brush - the inside of the 2 circles is empty and we can all see the background. It's a ring. When I pull that pattern out of swatches, however, it will color in that background. In this one, it's black. It changes depending on the pattern and the colors I'm using. And it is not consistent. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it happens to just some motifs in a design and not others.
After countless tries to figure out what it is, it does appear to be that patterns saved to Adobe's Creative Cloud will have this happen, whereas if I save it to my computer, it will not. Thank you for the help!This has to do with repeating patterns. I'm using Adobe Illustrator 2021, desktop.

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Maintain graph styles when updating data (bar graph issue)

Path render error
See screenshot. All I did was add opacity to a path and it renders it like this. Happens all the time since I updated.
