3. Bleed not exporting as PNG or JPG

   I've just updated to Illustrator 26.2.1 and now I cannot export PNG or JPG files with bleeds.
   • I'm using File > Export > Export as... function.
   • There is a 9 pt bleed set up in the Document settings
   • "Use Artboards" option is selected on the Export dialog window.

   I'm on macOS 12.3.1.

4. keyboard shortcut(s) don't work

   I have a couple keyboard shortcuts that do not work. Among them are Ctrl-Shift-O to outline fonts. and Ctrl+] and Ctrl+[ to arrange. I only have one custom shortcut Ctrl+Shift+P to place objects.

6. Coordinates label rendering problem in Overprint Preview mode

   1. Open the file and make sure Overprint Preview mode is on (thus GPU is off)
   2. Pick Direct Selection tool, grab the point and move it The gray label with current coordinates get smeared, like the GIF shows.

7. Disable SHIFT + SPACE Keyboard Shortcut for Rotate Canvas

   A SHIFT+ SPACE keyboard shortcut for the rotate canvas tool was introduced in a minor version update of Ai 25 (sometime after 25.2.1). This keyboard shortcut is very disruptive when trying to make selections while panning around the artboard. For example, you used to be able to continually hold down the SHIFT and SPACE keys to pan around the artboard while quickly dragging the cursor around points or objects to add them to your selection. With the new rotate canvas shortcut, you have to carefully press SHIFT, make your first selection, release SHIFT, press SPACE to to pan, release, press SHIFT again and add to your selection, release, and so on. This is not a comfortable key combo and it makes it very easy to accidentally release your entire selection.

   Prior to this update, we've never had a need for a quick toggle shortcut for the rotate canvas tool on desktop. If the tool is needed, it is accessible via the hand tool quickly enough.

   This issue is present in version 25.4.1 and 26.0.1.

   Starting with version 25.4.1, Adobe added a Preferences option to disable the trackpad gesture to rotate view. Please either disable this toggle shortcut completely or also add an option to Preferences to disable the SHIFT+ SPACE keyboard shortcut for desktop users.

9. Drag and drop to place file sometimes embeds instead of linking

   When I drag and drop a JPG/PNG/PDF/AI file from Finder into an Illustrator document, it normally drops in as a link. However, sometimes it unexpectedly embeds the artwork instead of linking it. If I try again repeatedly, it continues to embed, so to fix it I have to go to File > Place and ensure that "Link" is selected (which it already is). After that, if I drag-and-drop from Finder again, it links the artwork as expected.

   This issue is seemingly random and I can't figure out exactly how to reproduce it. I always link files (not embed them) when I place them via File > Place or via drag-and-drop, so I don't know why it sometimes decides to embed.

10. Saving to Creative Cloud is Changing My Patterns

    This has to do with repeating patterns. I'm using Adobe Illustrator 2021, desktop.
    Attached is a picture of 2 circles on a background (shield your eyes, it isn't pretty :-)). When I make the pattern - in this case, the circles were drawn with the blob brush - the inside of the 2 circles is empty and we can all see the background. It's a ring. When I pull that pattern out of swatches, however, it will color in that background. In this one, it's black. It changes depending on the pattern and the colors I'm using. And it is not consistent. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it happens to just some motifs in a design and not others.
    After countless tries to figure out what it is, it does appear to be that patterns saved to Adobe's Creative Cloud will have this happen, whereas if I save it to my computer, it will not. Thank you for the help!

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.1.0 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

11. Rearrange artboard does not work with large artboards...

    Having an issue with the Rearrange All Artboards feature when using very large art boards. See attached screenshot. Two artboards, one 6x16ft and one 3x9ft. Rearrange All Artboards using columns only seem to give an error of: "Rearrangement would take some artboards out of canvas bounds." even though the artboard could be arranged manually with the same settings.

    Unrelated: Can you PLEASE allow uploading of videos again (specifically webm). It really helps when trying to communicate bugs and feature requests).

12. Mauvaise gestion des timeout en enregistrement ou en impression à distance

    Lorsque je télétravaille, la connexion ADSL est lente et Illustrator se crashe avant la fin d'enregistrement sur le serveur ou avant la fin de l'envoi au serveur d'impression. Toutes les fenêtres disparaissent d'un coup et c'est lorsque je relance l'appli que ça me signale qu'illustrator a quitté inopinément... WTF ?
    Pour pallier ce problème, j'enregistre ou j'imprime en local, puis je transfère sous Finder vers le serveur distant, c'est nettement moins instable.

14. Illustrator not working correctly on large displays

    I am encountering numerous problems with Illustrator that I have not had before. I noticed that they all seem to revolve around things like selecting endpoints or handles for curves. Transforming elements seem to no longer align with the pointer when expanding. All of these are hard to pinpoint and I see numerous other people complaining about the same series of problems that I am having. I believe that it all has to do with Scaling on Large Screens.

    For example, I use 175% scaling on my LG 39" curved monitor. Trying to use the transform features after selecting an element is next to impossible. Sometimes, I will expect to rotate an element, and the cursor changes to rotate mode, I click and nothing happens but the element is deselected like I missed the handle. Other times, I will want to reposition or resize an object and I wait for the pointer to change to the horizontal scale cursor, click the point and it begins rotating the image. There's no discernable way to identify when it is going to do what.

    It makes Illustrator nearly impossible to use. I believe that it is all because you are failing to account for the magnification parameters in Windows since this worked fine just before I changed monitors. If you would just look at how you handle windows where the entire windows environment is scaled, I would be willing to bet you could solve a lot of problems all at once. Chances are you would solve the 4 or 5 bugs that I have submitted.

15. Anchor points not displaying with layer color

    My anchor points are not displaying correctly. They are not the layer color and when objects are selected, they are a light gray and barely visible on a white or any color background. I've tried changing the layer color and that doesn't help and have checked any preferences that may have been changed, but still the same issue.
    Specs:
    Illustrator v 25.3.1 on an iMac 27" (late 2012, 2.9GHz Quad Core Intel core i5 with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 66oM 512 MB graphics)
    Running MAC OS Catalina v 10.15.7
    Please help with any fixes. I've already restarted Illustrator and my computer a few times and no change. This seemed to have started after a recent update to the latest Illustrator version.

    This issue arises due to problems with Apple's graphic rendering pipeline on older versions of macOS and has been resolved by Apple in macOS 13 and above. We request you to update your macOS to13 and above to fix this issue.

16. Pasting inbetween layers broken

    Pasting between layers broken. You've made my job impossible. I have no idea why I'm paying for my business to have this **** when Affinity exists. Every time you updated an app you break it. PLEASE fix this!

    Also, the requirements to 'log in' are dumb and exactly why Adobe seems to think it has to create problems so it can 'look good' by fixing things. STOP MESSING ABOUT.

17. Show grid shortcut not working on macOS Monterey

    The show grid keyboard shortcut cmd + ' is not working on my illustrator. I have to go through the menu to toggle it on and off.
    It starts working when I restart my computer but then starts bugging out again.

    I have reset preferences, changed the command, reset my computer, reinstalled programs, tried the bounding box & expand appearance solutions, and scowling.

    So now, I have to scroll past "fonts" everytime I want to outline a stroke in the menu which spazzes the whole system out while it tries to pull up fonts. Real annoying, really throwing off my groove.

20. Bounding box is off centered or is not aligned to object correctly

    The bounding box is off centered on my objects. I have all of the "Snap to.." options off, Preview bounds is off and I do not have any of the "align to pixel grid" options on. I created a new file and did a random rectangle and it is still off, but not as severe on the file that I am working on. I did try the "Reset bounding box" option and nothing changed. The screenshots are all objects without a stroke. I am on a Mac. I don't see this problem on the PC.

    If you are still having problems with this, please provide a test file and a small video showing the exact workflow and the combination of options used. This would help to start investigation.
