1. Entire GUI Break at random intervals

   1.)
   Adobe Illustrator Version: 25.1
   OS: 64x Windows 10 Home 1909
   CPU: I7 7700
   GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 8gb
   RAM: 2133MHz 48gb

   While using Illustrator, at random intervals the application's GUI breaks in a manner of which I have never previously encountered until today.

   The error has seemingly little to no correlation to the actions I was performing prior the time the bug, gltich, error, what ever you want to call it, and the only way for me to continue using the application and keep any unsaved data is to force quit the application and reopen it and proceed from there.

   2.) Attempted to use the GUI to save the unsaved work I had been doing up until that point, and proceeded to attempt to use all of the GUI that was visually accessable to record the effects of the issue on the GUI, and then I used task manager to force quit the Application to preserve the work I had been doing before re-opening the application, recovering my work, saving it, and then continuing to work. I did this for all the 3 times I have encountered this bug so far.

   List of the issues I have recorded when this bug occurs with my setup:

   All Utility windows that require input to appear are transparent but are still present, only the text fields are the proper opacity;

   All text fields that have appeared previously are persistent until closure of the application;

   All text fields have either improperly scaled entry fields, improperly sized characters, consist of the entirely wrong font all together, the right font and scaling but are improperly bound and extend past where they would normally no longer print, are in the wrong location entirely, a combination of the listed issues, or have none of the issues listed;

   Selecting any other tab than the Properties tab in the rightmost group will not produce any result as the tab group appears to be frozen in its current state, though tabs within a collapsed tab group can be opened but anything other than a text field will be entirely transparent;

   Dialogue Boxes are transparent and cannot be interacted with;

   The toolbar on the leftmost side of the screen is frozen to the last tool used and does not update to the current tool in use;

   Upon tabbing out of the application and bringing it to the foreground once again the GUI will take upon a form akin to a completely blank page.

   All issues listed apart from the final item were encountered, and when possible displayed, in the Session depicted in the Attached Image

   it seems to me, in my very limited knowledge of application programming and the steps required to produce results, that Adobe illustrator is failing to update most of the utility aspects GUI apart from the Applications ability to actually view Vector documents.

2. Compatibilité système requis Vidéo Nvidia

   Je suis sous windows 10, illustrator 25.2 64bits dernière version, à chaque lancement de l'application apparait une fenêtre "compatibilité système requis" pour video Nvidia Geforce GT620. J'ai réparé en prenant la dernière version du pilote sur NVidia GeForce GT 620 v.23.21.13.9135. Mais la fenêtre apparaît toujours ??? Que dois-je faire pour solutionner ce problème. Merci

3. Illustrator 25.3.1 Will Not Open

   At least two of the computers in our office are having issues with the latest Illustrator update 25.3.1. The program does not open when selecting a file and performing Open With>Adobe Illustrator 2021. The program does not open from the start menu. The program does not open directly from the Illustrator.exe file. If you try to uninstall Illustrator with Creative Cloud, it tells you that you can't because the program is open. If you go to the Task Manager with less detail, Illustrator does not show open, however, if you select more detail, you may see 14 or more processes for Illustrator currently open. After a lot of investigation by myself and our I.T. Department, we've discovered that if we try to open Illustrator 3 to 4 times it will eventually open but that is a nuisance.

4. Illustrator Crash/Not Running

   Operating System: Windows 10
   Version: Adobe Illustrator 25.3.1

   After the last update, some of my documents on Creative Cloud do not open, unless I create duplicate and run the duplicate.

   The updated Illustrator crashes more often, specially if I have a lot of layers.

5. Illustrator auto added a level 1 layer to wrap all layers after saving as SVG.

   1. Windows 10.
   2. Adobe Illustrator 25.2.1.
   3. Save any .ai file that has multiple layers as SVG then open the saved SVG file with Illustrator .
   4. Expected: Keep the same layers as the ai file. Actual result:All layers were wrapped by a new layer automatically.

6. Illustrator Closes multiple menu items

   Dear Adobe

   I have recently come across a bug when multiple files are open in illustrator. When you close one of them it closes them all.

   Please can you kindly investigate this. It is an absolute pain when saving out multiple logo files.

   It might be my latest software update

7. I can't see my workspace

   I open AI and all my tools bar, control bar and work space are disappear.
   About tools bar and control bar I can reopen it but work space didn't work and I don't see it again.

8. Beta 25.4 – Crashing when in isolation mode (Big Sur 11.4)

   I'm running both the Apple Silicon Beta version (25.4) of Illustrator and 25.3.1 via the Rosetta emulator, and having the same issue across both. Huge amounts of lag occur when double clicking an object to enter isolation mode. At first I thought it was because the file I was working on had a bunch of linked images, but now even new files with a single vector object drawn will have the same lag issue. A shutdown of the machine sees a new file operate as expected, until I enter isolation mode, and then the same issue occurs. Close that file, open a new one, and it's the case even with just the blank document.

   It doesn't impact overall machine performance, and InDesign (Prerelease) and Photoshop (22.4.2) are working relatively flawlessly off the M1.

9. GPU support crashes reproducibly on different Macs (Mac OS 10.3 + Ai 25.x)

   The hole GPU support with Illustrator 2021 is broken on the Mac with Big Sur since the release of CC 2021 (Mac OS 10.3 + Ai 25.2.3). GPU support works with a blank document. The GPU support crashes reproducibly: switch on rulers > GPU crashes, open document with guides > GPU crashes, double click on grouped elements > GPU crashes, resize artboard > GPU crashes. Several upates went by without help. Every (!) colleague I have spoken to has struggles with the same bug since the release of Ai 2021. Both of my Macs (iMac i9 with Vega48 & M1 MBP) have the issue.

10. Type on path shifting placement

    I've updated to Illustrator 2021 (version 25.2.2), now when I open files from the 2020 version of Ai, type that was sitting on a curved path is now shifting all over the place. For example in the image attached the type should be full displayed and centres. This is happening on many files and is a major issue! This needs fixing!

11. Pasting in Front objects from different groups puts copies in the topmost group

    This is in latest version as of today's date. An annoying bug which was not present in older versions of illustrators and is reproducible:

    Create two vector objects and group them
    Duplicate this group (this is just to provide two groups, the problem exists across all groups of objects)
    Use Direct Select (A) to select one object from within each of these groups
    Copy (Ctrl+C)
    Paste in Front or Paste Behind will paste one object in front or behind and move the other selected object to that depth
    Regular paste pastes two objects as expected.

12. ADOBE FONTS NOT ACTIVATING W/ UPDATE!!

    Orator fonts specifically are not loading which my entire company branding materials use. I need a resolution ASAP!!!

13. Illustrator file management system has has bug.

    I categorized my all art work while drag and drop some folder get automatic duplicate my Internet connection is at good speed . This error i face most of the time .
    File managing is good but with this bug am frustrated. And the cost that is charging is too much . Just wasting of money , i already had a lots of stuff to manage and this buggy management system of file.

    This is my last month on illustrator will unsubscribe the subscription,nor recommend any one.

14. Shape anomalies when creating pattern brushes

    When I create a pattern brush using a series of pictures, other duplicated shapes (anomalies) would appear on top of the images when the new custom brush is applied to an object. In some cases it is duplicated, offset lines or flopped shapes that appear as additional objects...

    ungrouping all objects before making it a brush seems to resolve the problem...

15. Mac Os Big Sur

    Keep getting "An unknown error has occurred" when saving Illustrator file. THis is costing us time and money now as every-time we create a new file the start working it decides all of a sudden we cant save our work.

18. Error when pasting if one symbol is built with symbol font

    I'm working with maps in Illustrator and for a long time copying and pasting text inside an illustrator document has been acting weird. Each time I paste, the text is being pasted, but also added to the text is one or a few letters from a symbol font. It's like when copying text, it also copies something else.

    Today I noticed that I have one symbol which is basically one of the letters in one of my symbol fonts. (not outlined) And when outlined that symbol instead I noticed that pasting text no longer added the symbol font in the end!

    So somewhere there's a major bug. Not sure if it's in your copy/paste routine or something about handling symbols.

    In the video I attached I show you the process.

    • First I copy a piece of text and paste it below. The symbol font is added to the end.
    • Then I change the symbol being a font symbol to an outlined vector symbol.
    • Another try with copying and pasting text. The extra symbol is gone!

    I'm using Illustrator 2021 and MacOS 10.15.7.

    This bug has been with me for at least 4 years.

19. Slack & Illustrator freeze each other

    Sometimes Illustrator freezes on save and f I click Slack, I notice that it also has frozen. If I force quit Slack, Illustrator sometines unfreezes without having to force quit it.

20. Color theme panel scaled
