3. Imported DXF file make the Illustrator very slow

   Illustrator 28.6, iMac 5K, 27" 3,8 GHz 8-core Intel Core i7, 16 GB Ram
   I have importen DXF files during 14 yers with no problems. Now it takes 5-6 minute to open the DFX file, and the iMac gets very slow. One click - pause -one click-pause (1 second)

4. Libraries help guide every startup

   Everytime i open illustrator I have to click through the libraries "what's new" guide This is getting insanely annoying. I have already reset preferences and also completely wiped adobe from my pc and started fresh.

6. Auto-snapping is unreliable

   Snapping function is often unreliable, snapping to unintuitive objects (fx. an object on an offscreen artboard rather than one next to the object being moved)

   Further - snapping allignment is unreliable, often claiming to snap to allign with an edge, but when placed being off by a tiny bit, scewing layouts.

8. Undo deletes more than one history step

   Doing undo (Cmd + Z) Illustrator often deletes more than one step and resets the document close to its original/previously saved version.

   If you still have this problem happening, please share a test file, the steps needed to get the behavior, and a video recording of it, with History panel opened in view, so the team can reproduce the issue on their side.

9. Action with Image Trace does not record preset selection

   When creating an action with the Image Trace function, I am only able to utilize the default image trace settings when batching.

   While creating the action, loading custom parameters for the image trace function does not appear to be recorded in the action. When attempting to batch multiple files, the image trace uses the default black and white setting.

   My work around is the edit the trace parameters found in /collection7 in the vector_parameters.json found in the user folder. This is hardly an ideal workflow.

   Please have the action of loading the preset recorded in the action, so this workflow is usable.

    Locked guides are not moving with the artboard, despite "Move Locked and Hidden Artwork with Artboard" being enabled in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display.

12. All Adobe apps hang on launch

    Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign are not opening.. its hanging when i start software. pls fix it. It suddenly happened.
    I am not able to work my files since past 3 days.. I tried uninstall & install, but still same. Pls fix asap.

13. Illustrator Outline mode not working (still in normal mode but can’t move artboard)

    Anytime I want to enter Outline mode, it doesn't work. It should show black white outlined vector, but here only shows the artboard as normal mode, but cant move. The title bar showing Outline mode. Have tried to use CPU/GPU preview but still doesn't work.

14. Add an option to constrain Illustrator to only move the selected object

    In Adobe Illustrator, it's frustrating that when I select an object and attempt to move it, the software sometimes selects and moves a different nearby object instead—even though I clicked precisely on the one I had already selected.

    I would like an option to constrain Illustrator to always operate on the currently selected object, ignoring nearby objects unless I explicitly reselect something else.

    This behavior would be similar to Photoshop's "Auto-Select Layer" toggle, where users can choose whether to transform the currently selected layer or automatically switch to a different one based on the click location.

    Such an option would save time and reduce frustration in workflows where precision is critical.

    Please consider implementing this feature to make Illustrator more user-friendly and intuitive.

16. Any document created using Film & Video document profile gets a second 14400×14400 artboard

    When creating a new document in the HDV/HDTV 1080 or other Film and Video-related workspaces, the artboard is initially created with the correct size. However, as soon as you add any object to this workspace outside of the borders of the artboard, a new artboard is automatically generated, and it is massive. This forces the user to manually remove the second artboard, which is unnecessary.

    The second artboard is not a bug, but a specifically designed behavior for later import to AfterEffects. It gives AE enough room to avoid clipping of the layer content to the main artboard size (basically a dummy for a pasteboard).

    Тo create a composition to import into After Effects, use the Video & Film Document Profile (Film & Video in CC). This creates two artboards — one large artboard that serves as a "scratch" area for objects used later in AE, and one sized for your chosen video format.

17. [Illustrator 2025, 29.1][Win11 23H2] Installed ICC Color Profiles Become Unavailable After System Shutdown

    My Win11 has fast boot disabled, so it gets completely shut down rather than just hibernated.

    Once I shut down the computer and start it again, all installed ICC profiles disappear from View > Proof Setup > Custom... > Device to Simulate

    They reappear after deleting the following files:

    1) C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Color\ACECache11.lst

    2) C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Color\ACEConfigCache2.lst

18. Massive Lag Issue

    Every time I open Illustrator, it takes an enormously long time to load. It continues to lag when I'm in the file, working on it - every action requires a wait time, from moving an object to typing a word. This makes using illustrator a massive chore.

    This happens to all files, even ones that are very simple - at most maybe 10 individual elements (images and text.) I have the creative suite, so all things are up to date. This issue does not happen with Photoshop or InDesign, which run perfectly, so it's clearly not a memory issue or a problem on my end.

19. Flickering Pasteboard with GPU Preview

    This is an ongoing, intermittent issue with Illustrator on Mac. It predates the M-series chips in my memory. The issue is that when the GPU preview is on the pasteboard starts to flicker (see attached). This is not tied to a specific action or effect in my experience, but happens randomly. Suggestions are to turn off GPU preview (not terribly helpful) or turn it off/on which sometimes works, or restart which sometimes works. Can you PLEASE figure out why this happens (has been happening for years!) and fix it.

20. Ai Pen Tool keeps snapping to points

    The Pen Tool in 28.7.1 keeps snapping to points, even when View/Snap to Point is off, Smart Guides are off, and in Preferences Snap to Point is off.

    Very annoying. Would be nice when the tool itself had a switch to toggle snap / not snap while drawing. (like the Magnet in Premiere...)
