1. Illustrator has crashed twice in the past hour (and multiple times today)

   I was editing lines in this document and it keeps crashing. Not sure why... Any help would be appreciated! I was moving lines from one layer into another when it crashed just now. Thanks!

2. user interface PPI mixed, wrong, "new" dialog unusable

   see attached picture
   this used to happen more intermittently but recently it's happening every time. creating new items is completely broken.
   different panels appear at 100% scale, while others appear at 200% scale it seems.

   affects the actual menus and the common open/save file dialog sometimes

   when I restart illustrator, restart the machine, or dock/undock monitors it changes in seemingly unpredictable ways

3. The file "Untitled" is an unknown format and cannot be opened

   I was working on a file that I opened from Photoshop CC 2018 and after I saved it. I wanted to open it again and I got this message:
   "The file "Untitled" is an unknown format and cannot be opened"

   I tried opening it again from photoshop and saved it as an ai. file. I went to open it again and I get the same error message: The file "Untitled" is an unknown format and cannot be opened

   Thank you! (please help! I am losing my mind! :) )

4. Preferences reset to default... EVERY time I open Illustrator

   Every time I open Illustrator, all preferences are reset to the defaults. EVERY preference, EVERY time. I've saved custom workspaces, keyboard shortcuts, etc. and those are available to be activated, every time I open the application.
   Using AI CC 2018 (22.0.1) on Windows 7, with Cloud disabled.
   I do NOT have the option to install the latest patch; I don't even have access to menu item "Check for Updates."
   Would be EXTREMELY helpful if Adobe would make the list of fixes for each patch available. I have no way of knowing when there's been an update, or what was patched in any update.
   This is the buggiest version of Adobe software (Illustrator and InDesign) I've ever seen. I've been using ALL the core Adobe apps since their initial release (1980's, 1990's).

5. Bug: Object Coordinates Not Aligning with Page

   When trying to align two groups of objects, the coordinates in relation to the actual position on the page do not match the coordinates in the Y axis value box. (see attached images)

   The top edge of the object is -108", the middle is 5.5" (actual is ~3.5") and the bottom edge is 119" on an 8.5x11" layout.

   Details:
   * It happens when the group of objects on the layer is selected
   * Objects did not indicate any parts outside of it's rectangle selection area that would throw off the measurements (triple checked)
   * A stripped down file where the same errors occur is attached.

   Illustrator Version: 22.0.1 64-bit Windows 10

6. Bizarre Issues with Fonts and Rendering; Creative Cloud

   I’m not sure when this started - possibly when the recent update for Creative Cloud occurred. One day I was unable to take a screenshot without it looking distorted and something strange happened with my screen in the top navigation bar - again all distorted. I had to restart.

   Recently I couldn’t sign into Creative Cloud as it was greyed out. Had to restart.

   Now with fonts and rendering, in the video in this sample file:
   - I select two separate text boxes using Arial, and reduce the size. I’m unable to select the resized text boxes. I can select if I click and drag over them, but not if I clicked directly on them, however I’m still unable to move them. The Undo doesn’t work properly.

   • I select two separate text boxes using Neris, and enlarge the size. I’m unable to select the resized text boxes. I can select if I click and drag over them, but not if I clicked directly on them, however I’m still unable to move them. The Undo doesn’t work properly.
     Rendering onscreen starts to do weird things.

   • I select one separate text box to change from Arial italic to Times New Roman. For some odd reason, the size changes from 15.54pt to 12pt. The Undo doesn’t work properly.

   • I select two separate text boxes to change from Arial italic to Times New Roman. Again, the size changes from 15.54pt to 12pt. The Undo doesn’t work properly.

   • When I get to the end of the Undo, for some reason all text boxes are selected. Some change size, some don’t. I go to Undo, and seems to work.

   It’s just so bizarre. It’s so random but these errors keep occurring. About 3 months ago I changed over from CS5 to CC 2018. Sorry to say, but CC 2018 programs have been so unstable.

7. New version randomly and continually changing position of endpoints

   I have a large map I'm working on that's doing a strange thing ever since AI CC's last update (21.1.0).

   After the update, Illustrator seemed to change the "Arrowheads" (circles in the case of this file) position at the end of SOME, but not all, of my lines. As far as I could tell, the unwanted and automatic change was completely random. Worse yet, it seems to be continuing at random, as though AI has developed an AI intended to drive me insane.

   Anyone else experiencing this? (In the sample screenshot, the circles at the ends of the lines representing Bronco, Arabian, and Palomino cul-de-sacs were created in Illustrator before the Creative Cloud's last update to stop before they encroached on the streets' labels. Note, however, the myriad cul-de-sacs to the right of these remain as they were intended.)

8. Pattern Brush Problem with Expand Appearance

   I want to paint a topographic card (map) with complex Strokes for the streets and rivers and so on.

   After creating different Pattern Brushes i would create a solid line for export to an other program.

   After choosing the Stroke with an used Pattern Brush i would "expand appearance" for getting a clean version without strokes.
   The Result is a lot of segmented curves and destroyed formes.

9. The interface doesn't appear

   When I open Ai, the interface never load(1). If I pass the cursor over the top, that bottons appear(2). And, if I select a new color of interface appear the rest(3), but if I press "Ok", that disappears.

10. rotate tool

    The rotate tool's anchor point won't stay were I place it when I go to the dialogue box to rotate in degrees.

    I updated my Mac OS yesterday and since the update this tool hasn't worked.
    I have the latest version of Illustartor 22.0.1.

14. Sizes and coordinates get distorted in SVG export

    Adobe Illustrator CC on Mac OS
    I composed a graphic in Illustrator to use as a SVG Sprite in CSS. To make sure all my sprites render sharply I aligned my vectors to full pixel coordinates and sizes. Unfortunately those same coordinates end up on some slightly odd positions in the source of the exported SVG.
    I used the "Export as..." function with Decimals set to 2.

15. Deleting segment of path for 'Type on path' and than undoing it gives wrong result

    I have type on path.
    I delete one segment of the path, and text is now overflowing.
    I undo deletion, path got restored, but text does not — it is still trimmed, and I have to NOTICE this and drag end marker back.
    'Undo' must restore previous state fully.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.3.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

16. Freeze screen

    Sometimes the text boxes freeze and seem like I can't edit but actually are editable, is just I can't see exactly what I am doing.
    The other thing, and is a major issue, is that the outline mode is not visible, apparently, I can activate it but there nothing changes on my screen besides the option that shows that the mode is active.

18. Selection of multiple text objects - changing font not working

    We can no longer change the font of multiple text objects at once.
    When multiple text objects are selected, Ai thinks this is a 'mixed selection' and does not come up with the typeface selector. Slowing down my work incredibly.

19. Issues with changing tint by typing in % value and hitting Return key

    Illustrator 2018 CC 22.0.1
    Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6

    As per video, after typing in a numerical value for a tint on a global colour in the Color Panel and hitting Return, the value defaults back to original value. In my video, it shows that it’s having issues with values of 50% and 100% but this occurs randomly and can happen with different tint values.

20. Unable to assign CMD+Z to Undo tool

    I am using Illustrator CC 2018 22.0.1 for Mac (High Sierra 10.13.2) and I am having trouble assigning CMD + Z to my "Undo" tool. After my last update, I had lost nearly all of the default keyboard shortcuts (I had never customized them before so I assume they were the defaults) like cmd + s = save, cmd + c = copy, cmd + v = paste, etc. which was really frustrating to always have to go to the menu bars to do small actions. However, I have since gone in manually and reinstated the old shortcuts, but for some reason it will not allow me to apply a shortcut with a "z" to "undo" or any other tool. I can apply another letter to the undo tool, but not "z". For the sake of continuity across all programs and habit of cmd+z for undo on nearly every program ever, I'd like to keep it as a z.

    Oddly enough, this only happened to Illustrator. My other Adobe CC products are fine.
