  1. [ExtendScript] Incorrect paragraph count when linefeeds are used.

    MacOS 13.3.1, Adobe Illustrator 27.4.1

    To see the issue, run this script:

  2. EPS color bug

    Adobe illustrator keeps changing the colors of .eps images that I link. Both profiles are set to RGB so that should not be a problem.

  3. "Adobe Illustrator Web Content" process runs when I open the document in latest versions of AI and keeps running forever, taking CPU and RAM

    Title says it all. Wasn't happening up until few versions back. Still happens with 27.4.1.

    Macbook Pro/2019, Intel, macos 10.15.7

  4. rotating and croping causing jagged banding

    Rotating and croping an image leads to an odd banding pattern appearing through the image. This does not occur when clipping using a clipping mask or when only cropped or only rotated.

  5. Certain shapes make illustrator change from GPU to CPU. Can't change back until a fresh reinstall.

    I created this glass effect on my laptop and exported it to drive to download onto my PC. It opens normally with GPU preview but it switches to CPU if I zoom into my work. After some experimenting I found out it's only because of my shapes that create the glass effect. It affects both my laptop and PC. Laptop uses 1660 Max Q, not intergrated graphics.

    It also affects other files (not consistent), that I open at the same time. Other files that are affected can't be changed back to GPU preview despite reopening the files individually. PC restart…

  7. Illustrator 27.3.1 Typing bug

    Hi all, its a weird bug on Illustrator 27.3.1 which were lot unstable issue of version.

    as video u can see :

    1. When I typed 1st word「背」it fine !
    2. But when I typed second word 著，illustrator just kept add my 1st word（被：its a same prononciation but different look in chinese ) on the right side

    🌟 Before 27.3.1 , all good ! this version caused software lot lagging too !

    Laptop Version：
    MacOS 13.2.1 (for now）
    Apple Silicon Chip M1 Max
    Illustrator ver: 27.3.1
    Type name : Noto Sans CJK TC

    Image tracing with the same PNG file is low-fidelity. At different times, the display results have different drawing effects, and become a failed image drawing. Please correct or explain the reason

  9. Image Trace (Make and Expand) has changed default settings

    When following the Object>Image Trace>Make and Expand, the action used to just convert the image to a black and white cutout, but since the last update it's changed to "logo" preset like in the advanced settings. Now I have to enter the advanced settings every time to use the black and white option, rendering the menu option useless, and taking a few extra steps to get the result I want. Is there a way to change it back to the old settings? Or actually be able to choose what the default setting in the menu option is?

  10. White Lines After Using Image Crop

    I am running into an error when I go to crop an image. The original image does not contain any white lines or grid lines running through it, however when the image is cropped these evenly spaced white thin lines appear across the image. These lines will even show up after the image is exported. Any fixes or resolutions? Illustrator is up-to-date, I'm running macOS Ventura 13.0. (This does not happen with other images that are cropped in this file). To crop the image I am just simply going to Object>Crop Image

  11. Snap to point

    Why do you have to zoom right in almost to get points to snap to each other properly? Do you understand how disruptive to workflow this is? It seems to be a real issue when not zoomed right in to an image. This is very annoying!

  12. オブジェクトを再配色にて、RGBスライダーが短く表示される

    Mac OS 12.6 Monterey
    Illustrator27.2(27.1.*)

    再配色ウインドウを開いた時に、下部の調整部分がRGBだとバーが短く表示されます。CMYKや他の調整モードに切り替えた後RGBに戻すとバーの長さは戻りますが、何度も切り替えているとRGBのバーのみがまた短くなることがあります。
    27.2にアップデートすることで解決するかと思いましたが解決していなかったので、前のバージョンの正確な数字を覚えていないのですが27.1.*でも同様でした。

  13. Space on text disapear

    Windows 10 OS
    Adobe Illustrator (desktop) all updated (27.2)

    When i use text (type tool), for a single line or a text box, the spaces between the words disapear as i type it. I tried different fonts, different idioms on the text, tried check and uncheck hyphenization and always get the same result.
    Is that a configuration ussue that im not aware of? or is it a bug?

  14. Keyboard shortcut for "Navigate to Next Document" stopped working on MacOS

    With the latest update to Illustrator 27.2, I've found the "Navigate to Next Document" keyboard shortcut to have stopped working. I have checked the Keyboard Shortcuts tool and verified that it remains as "Illustrator Defaults" and it is set to ⌘`. In fact none of the related shortcuts work.

    To be sure, I've tried a different keyboard with the same result and the shortcut does continue to work in other applications (as it is the default shortcut on macOS to cycle around documents.)

  15. Illustrator 2023 often force close when drawing with the pencil tool

    Illustrator 2023 version 27.2 freezes when I try to draw using the pencil tool for about 5-10 minutes with a pen tablet, and then immediately force close itself. and this keeps repeating several times and I even tried restarting my PC, changing the graphics performance for the Illustrator app to "High Performance", updating the latest drivers and software. but the problem is still not resolved.

    I really need your help for this issue so that it can be resolved quickly. very annoying when I'm working and suddenly force close by itself.

  16. Bug: dragging global swatch to the “plus” button doesn’t work as expected

    MacOS 12.6.2
    Illustrator 27.1.1

    To replicate the issue:
    Create a group of swatches and put a global swatch inside the group.
    Drag this swatch to the [+] button to create a duplicate.
    The actual result: A new global swatch is created outside the group with “Original Name copy” name while the original swatch is also renamed to the same name. Changing one of those swatches also changes the other, they act as one swatch.

  17. Vertical Type Tool Not Working Properly

    (See Image for reference)
    When using the vertical type tool, it used to make a word have the letters stacked over each other. (like in column 'B) Now when you click with the Vertical Type Tool to type anything, it appears as image 'A'. I do not think its supposed to look like a word that has just been rotated 90 degrees? (like in column 'C')

  18. CMYKのパラメータで触ったもの以外が勝手に0％になる。

    Win10 pro
    Ver. 27.1.1
    CMYKの異なるオブジェクトを選択後、CMYKのいずれかを同じ数値にしようとすると、選択したもの以外のパラメーターが全て0％に変更されてしまう。
    以前はそのようなことはなく、選択したもの以外のパラメーターはキープされていた。
    例えば、C:10,M:20,Y:30:K40とC50:M:60,Y:70,K:80の2つのオブジェクトを選択し、両方のYの値を90に同時に変更しようとした場合、CMKの3つの数値はキープされず勝手に0に変わってしまう。

  19. フリーグラデーションオブジェクトがFinderプレビューに表示されない

    環境: M1 iMac OS 13.0.1 / Illustrator 27.0.1

    フリーグラデーションがFinderプレビューに表示されません。
    表示されない形式はaiとpdfです。
    同じファイルを別のデバイスで確認したところ、最新のMacOS13で表示されないことが確認されました。

  20. Cannot input color code in Websafe RGB

    When i try to add the color code for R, G and B in websafe RGB scheme, as soon as i enter the value for R and move to G, both the fill and stroke becomes null. I can only enter the color code in the bottom text area which has the entire code
