Severe color shift in GPU Preview when placing images — macOS Sequoia + M4 chip + Illustrator 2025
I'm experiencing a serious color rendering issue in Adobe Illustrator 2025 on my new MacBook Pro (M4 chip) running macOS Sequoia 15.5.
When placing or embedding images (JPG/PNG), the GPU Preview mode displays extreme color shifts, making the artwork look completely different from the source image. However, switching to CPU Preview restores correct colors— but the performance becomes noticeably slower and almost unusable for real-time editing.
As a professional designer, I rely on GPU Preview for efficient, accurate work. This bug breaks trust in color fidelity and slows down production significantly. Please investigate and address this GPU rendering issue on Sequoia + M4 setups.

Bezier handles become invisible
I use the latest version of Illustrator cc 2025, on Windows 10.
This problem has been going on for several, many versions back so it is not a version problem, but an Illustrator problem.When I work on a file for a long time, for example creating brands, so the entire table is full of tests, ideas, etc..
I noticed that after working on the document for hours, days, it gets to a point that the BUG appears...As shown in the photo, the yellow vector on the right is the original document. I cannot see on that vector and on all the others present the handles of the bezier curves, the anchor points, the corners widget... Many times (not in this case) the snap to the paths no longer works (which are already not very precise)... etc..
If I then create a new document and copy and paste the vector from the document with the bug, the handles magically appear and everything works again. (Orange vector on the left).
I repeat, it is not a version problem, it has been years, many years (maybe since CC2020 that I noticed this problem).
Does this happen to others? How did you solve it?

Ich verwende ein 64 Bit Betriebssystem und bin mit der Adobe CC stets auf dem aktuellsten Stand. Es stehen keine nicht installierten Updates an.
Mein(e) Problem(e) trat(en) seit gestern verstärkt auf:
Meine Datei besteht aus einigen Ebenen in denen Objekte in Gruppen oder einzeln liegen. Für den Export muss ich Elemente ausblenden. Zur Sicherheit habe ich alle anderen Objekte auf der Ebene stets gesperrt. Beim ein- und ausblenden entsteht der Fehler: Trotz Sperrung und Ausblendung wird das Objekt weiterhin angezeigt. Beim Export als PNG wird es leider auch mit exportiert (allerdings nicht zuverlässig - es kam auch vor, dass es am Bildschirm und in der PNG-Vorschau zu sehen war, im exportierten PNG aber nicht).Andere auffällige Fehler gestern traten beim Umbenennen der Objekte und Gruppen auf: Illustrator änderte beim Verschieben des Objekts ohne mein Zutun die Objektbenennung dieses oder einiger anderer Objekte.
Heute fiel plötzlich beim Ausblenden der abgespeicherte Blur-Effekt (Gauscher Weichzeichner) von fünf Objekten aus. Hier wurde mir allerdings danach ein unbekannter Fehler gemeldet.Ebenfalls auffällig verhalten sich seit einigen Tagen meine Hilfslinien. Wenn ich die Linie setze ist sie unsichtbar. Klicke ich im Dokument an eine beliebige Stelle, erscheint sie wieder. Wähle ich sie aus, um sie zu verschieben, verschwindet sich optisch wieder und erscheint erst wieder, wenn ich anderswo hin klicke. Zum Arbeiten sehr mühsam!
Keine der im Internet zu recherchierenden Fehlerbehebungsmaßnahmen greifen, da sich die dort beschriebenen Fehler immer mit bekannten Maßnahmen wie aus- und einblenden / sperren / anzeigen von Linealen etc. erledigen sollte.Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte?
Gibt es Tastenkombinationen, die solch seltsames Verhalten auslösen (und die ich evtl. zufällig gedrückt haben könnte)?Vielen Dank!

Black table screen
With the latest Windows update, every time I open or create a new file, the desktop screen goes black. I tried uninstalling the latest version and reverting to previous versions, and the same thing happens.
My computer is an HP Pavilion.
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 4700U with Radeon Graphics 2.00 GHz.
Installed RAM: 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable).

This problem has been consistently occurring since the introduction of Illustrator CC, and continues to affect all subsequent versions.
This is a severe UX and workflow-breaking bug. It makes it impossible to use the most natural way of opening files on macOS. Users are forced to adapt inconvenient workarounds.
Please escalate this issue to the engineering team and acknowledge it publicly. We ask for a fix or a detailed technical explanation of what’s causing the failure.

There is a delay and lag when copying in Adobe Illustrator 2025 29.5.141
When using Adobe Illustrator 2025, there is a delay and lag when copying. When performing a Ctrl+C copy of graphics or text, or when manually dragging, there is a delay and lag in the response, and the copy does not appear immediately. If a zoom operation is performed during a Ctrl+C copy, the delay and lag become even more pronounced.

Issue saving document on hard drive after creating a pattern swatch, file won't save or AI crashes. Cloud document saves fine!
I keep recreating a pattern swatch to use on a social media image, and every time I go to save the document Illustrator either crashes completely or won't save the file and I have to start over again. Weirdly, saving to the cloud works just fine, it's only when I have to my hard drive on my brand new MacBook Pro. If I do any other work within the file, it will save. But if I create the pattern and use it within the file, the crash happens. Expected result is to be able to save the file on my hard drive and retain the pattern swatch in the file. Please help!!

Not constraining to 91 degrees & 136 degrees instead of 90 degrees & 135 degrees with shift
Even with constrain angle at 0 degrees & smart guides at 45 & 90 degree angles & turning all snapping options off:
holding down shift when rotating while drawing with line segment tool shows live angle snapping at 0, 45, then 91 & 136, then back to 180, 225, 270, 315, then 0 again.
When I release at what it says to be 91 or 136 degrees by my mouse -> I check the rotate properties in the right panel & the angles are correct at 90 & 135 degrees where they snapped.
So it's just displaying the wrong snapping angle hovering over the mouse.

To Whom It May Concern,I've encountered a translation issue in the Traditional Chinese interface of Adobe Illustrator, where two different functional panels share the same translated name, "屬性" (Properties / Attributes), which causes confusion for users.
Properties panel:
In Illustrator 2024, this panel was translated as "內容" . However, in Illustrator 2025, its name has been changed to "屬性".
Its function is to dynamically display the most commonly used attributes and control options based on the currently selected object or tool.Attributes panel:
This panel has consistently been named "屬性" (Attributes).
Its primary function is to control advanced object attributes, such as Overprint settings and showing center points.
Since both panels are now named "屬性," it's difficult for users to distinguish between the Properties panel (for common attributes) and the Attributes panel (for advanced settings).To avoid this confusion, I kindly request that Adobe consider re-evaluating the Traditional Chinese naming for these two panels.

用紙サイズ指定で手差し印刷ができない
- 使用アプリ: Adobe Illustrator
- 前の環境：Windows10 / llustrator 28.4.1
- 現在の環境：Windows11 / llustrator 29.5.1 または 28.7.7
- 印刷機：富士フイルム DocuPrint C4150 d
問題：
前の環境では手差し印刷できるのですが、現在の環境では手差しトレイから印刷できません。
手差しトレイからではなく、標準のトレイから違うサイズの用紙を出してしまいます。行った手順：
印刷時にプリンタの詳細設定（左下の「プリンター（U）…ボタン→その他の設定）で・「用紙トレイ選択」を手差しのトレイに設定
・「原稿サイズ」を「ユーザー定義用紙」に設定
（バグを確認したのは、A3より少し大きめの306x437mm）また現在の環境では、データを再印刷する際に、印刷の詳細設定がリセットされてしまいます。
（前の環境では詳細設定が引き継がれていた）
印刷のプリセットを設定したとしても、毎回プリセットを読み込むのが面倒です。
こちらについても、印刷設定の保持ができるように改善していただきたいです。1 vote -

The Linked File dropdown does not resize correctly, often goes offscreen
The 'Linked File' dropdown (visible when a linked file is selected) does not resize correctly.
If the lower-right corner is dragged to resize the left edge very quickly moves offscreen, then when the handle is released the dropdown is often too large to view on the monitor, as it has scaled so wide that it is off the right hand side of the screen. It is difficult to get it to all fit on the screen at once, and if the lower-right handle goes offscreen then it requires a restart of Illustrator to try again.
Restarting Illustrator each time this happens makes quite a dent in productivity, and it's really easy to accidentally scale it by too much due to this bug.
If you can resize it to be wider but still staying onscreen, you can then again drag the handle in the lower-right to see how it is behaving - it resizes very rapidly using the handle as the anchor point for the transform, rather than the left edge staying fixed and the handle moving as expected.
Uservoice won't let me attach screen recordings, I can provide as needed.
Expected behaviour:
Dragging the handle in the lower-right would resize the dropdown by scaling from the upper-left corner, and the window would 'stay' where the cursor was released.Win 11, Illustrator v 29.5.1 (but has been present for previous versions as well, I don't recall when I first encountered this bug but it's been a while).

Lock Guides button in Properties is shown as depressed when the option is actually enabled
My guides are always set to locked (Ctrl + Alt + ;) but sometimes on loading the icon in the Properties panel is not pressed in or whatever the term is. I think my Illustrator gets into a state where the guides are neither locked or unlocked causing the issue with snapping to guides later. I found this morning that pressing that button a couple times fixes my issue.

Illustrator keep blacking out the top part of my artboard.
My version of Illustrator: 29.5.1 running on Windows 11:

New file window always in fullscreen instead of previous window size
In the past, Illustrator opened a new file to the size and position of the previous window. Now it ALWAYS goes to full screen, and I then ALWAYS have to size it back down to how I want it. this is a new and unwanted behavior, so please fix it. Thanks.

Keyboard navigation for Save/Don't Save dialog box NOT WORKING
Chip: Apple M2 Max
Memory: 32 GB

Illustrator 29.0.1I expect to keyboard navigate to any button, and when the desired button is highlighted, I expect to hit enter and the button action should take place.
Save dialog box buttons do not work with keyboard navigation.
I opened 16 PNGs, I cut or mess with the image and past what I want into my working file, the want to close all open files I am done with but not save what I did...
(I was only grabbing what I want for new work and want line thickness consistency examples)
When the dialog box for "do you want to save?" opens, I attempt to use the arrow key to navigate to "Don't Save" & hit return. This opens the save function - Again, the button "Don't Save" is highlighted and I hit enter and I get the save functionality.
If i move the mouse to the button and click function works as should.

Smart guides don't snap to or highlight guides when there is an object nearby
I don't know if this is mentioned in any of the other smart guides bugs, it didn't look like it. I have a guide that I need the reflect tool to snap to with smart guides. However, when I try to hover over the guide where an object is, the smart guides just don't recognize it, I have to go to where the guide is over the artboard to get the smart guides to show up. It may be because the guide is on the layer behind the art, but that is my locked reference layer, and I want it there.
(also sorry about screenshot quality, had to use a new program to capture my mouse cursor and it is not good).

Glitchy Application
My computer runs very smoothly with every other application, including other Adobe applications. However, as soon as I open Illustrator, my entire system lags and stutters constantly, making it impossible to get work done with the application. This needs to be fixed and run smoothly.
