Uniform resizing behaves differently
In Illustrator 2019, when resizing an object using the W value and the H value it does not resize symmetrically keeping it centered on the xy axis like all previous versions. This is something I have relied on to keep everything centered within that shape or object. Why did this change or is it a preference that I need to select?

Box Tool not in Inches and making weird shapes
I'm trying to make specific size boxes in INCHES with my box tool. But it's only coming up in points and when I do make a box, it makes it a trapezoid shape. This new Illustrator 2019 is so buggy, it's not even funny!

Come on now! I am in AI and open a file to work on when a popup appears telling me that a new version of AI is available. However, when the update 'button' is selected nothing happens! There used to be a check for updates under Help yet that does not exist anymore. When it did exist it worked. So what is gong on now? More frustration with AI!

Illustrator v23.0.1 will not open files from the desktop action. Must open via Open Menu.
I'm having a minor problem opening AI files from the desktop with this new version. It won't show the document, and only shows the launch screen, and there I see the icon for my document, but even when clicking on that it won't load. I have to quit AI, relaunch and from there open my document via Illustrator's Open menu.

PDF export no longer represents brushes used correctly
I have used some vector brushes in illustrato (see highlights). When file saved as a pdf the brushes no longer correctly represent what's in the file, they seem to lose a lot of their transparency. I sell the mentioned brushes on exchange (HighlightsandShadows Brushes) as well so I would like this fixed. Both viewing the pdf file and opening in ai show the wrong results.
This problem has occurred since upgrading both mac os and illustrator to latestHowever if i open the ai file in shop it looks as it should.

SVG text export inconsistent failure 23.0.1
On SVG export, one text node receives ID as expected, the other is wrapped in a <g> and given the id that should be on the text node (which has no id).
I don't know how to produce this result—it's happening intermittently in a large existing file. I was only able to whittle it down to an example, but this system won't let me attach an illustrator file (lol)

New update is distorting character text
I'm running Mac Mojave 10.14.1, and downloaded the latest CC 2019 update. I have used a paid for monogram font in illustrator for over 5 years with no issues until this recent download. Now there are distortions in several areas... Is there a fix for this??

Cannot scale item directly after placing...
When I place either a file or library item by dragging onto the artboard, I cannot scale that item (via double-click on scale tool). It does not apply the transformation. I have to repeat the transformation in order to get it to apply. This does not happen however if I place an item through the file menu. See attached video.

Randomly deletes recent changes.
Latest version is extremely buggy. Randomly jumps back two steps in the undo queue, erasing entirely all work. Redo does not work.

attributes note window loses keyboard focus
os x high sierra
illustrator 2017-2019when entering a note in the attribute panel, the window loses focus and instead of typing the note illustrator execute keyboard commands.
example:
I select an object.
Type in a note in the note window
it worksselect a different object.
place cursor in the note window. the cursor blinks as it's ready for typing
start typing but nothing happens in the window, instead keyboard presses execute whatever shortcuts are pressedworkaround.
select object
hide attribute tab
reopen attribute tab
notes work again.but then select a new object and notes stops working.

View Using GPU not available
My animated Zoom has been working and then i got a crash with the "Not enough memory" error coming up and ever since my Animated Zoom hasn't been working. Now when i've done the latest update (23.0.1) i can't select View Using GPU and the animated zoom is not working still.
iMac 27" 3.2GHz Inel i5
OS: High Sierra 10.13.6
Memory: 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3

CMYK Spectrum on color tab looks broken
On the latest Illustrator update the CMYK Spectrum looks broken on the color tab. At first I thought it was a display problem however comparing other Adobe apps and even in illustrator color picker there is nothing wrong.

Illustrator won't export SVGs - V. 23.0.1
When trying to export (for screens) artboards and/or assets, it does create subfolders but won't export any SVGs.
It does export PNGs etc but not SVGs.
