1. Illustrator CC 23.0.2 not opening a SVG file

   When I try to open a svg file, a dialog box asks me to "Select a File Format to open file:" The options are Pixar, PCX, BMP, PNG and Targa. Not only do I not need any of these options, but if I click any of them and press OK, I get an error that reads, "Could not read the file because the plug-in could not understand this file."

2. Pathfinder Divide Function Not Working

3. Saving switches a layer back on

   When saving in Illustrator 2019 a layer that was switched off becomes visible again. Only a minor problem I guess, but is part of a growing list of things that don't work in the latest version.

4. No Response when saving/printing files

   Every time I attempt to save a file in Illustrator or Photoshop the system (Windows 10) hangs and shows 'no response'. It clears itself after a couple of minutes and then works normally. It will hang like this while I am printing as well. Our Level 1 tech has not been able to find the problem and it is becoming frustrating when attempting to work on a project. I have uninstalled and re-installed the programs twice as well as reinstalling the operating system to no effect. I have also tried rolling back to an earlier version which also has no effect. I do have the CS5 creative suite which still works fine but need the latest editions for some for my work. Any help would be appreciated.. Thank you.

5. Missing image link when pasting

   When I select artwork in one open document, select copy and then paste into another document, Illustrator cannot find the image links.
   However, when I drag the artwork from one document to another there is no problem.
   Congratulations to Adobe in breaking records for the most buggy version of Illustrator so far!

6. Slow/Lagging Preview

   The preview of the canvas is incredibly laggy/stuttery when moving shapes around the canvas. Makes illustrator almost unusable on my PC, always have to use my MacBook.

7. cant type @. when us the AltGr + 1-0 nothing hapend. I work on windows 10

   cant us the AltGr + the number 1-0 it dosent respond have tried to change the keyboard, re instsall Ai this is on a windows 10 . have Ai on a windows 7 ther it works perfect.

9. Random slow-downs opening or saving files

   In AI 23.0.4 when opening a sequence of files there are random slow-downs and spinning beachballs for no obvious reasons, at random. Have un-installed and getting same issue with 23.0.3 and 23.0.2. Nothing about my system has changed since this has started and it's driving me mad.

11. Opening Graphic styles causes crashes of v23

    Checking on status of incident (ADB-4515680-P0G2). Adobe has connected with my computer twice and we were able to replicate the "crash" or freezing of the program when the graphic styles were opened in Illustrator 23.01. I am currently using V22 when I need to use graphic styles.

    Have the engineers made progress in determining the issue and developing a fix?

12. Illustrator bug images and files and QT movies

    I posed this before and it seems to have vanished so i am re-sending.

    These images and jpegs and qt movies and files correspond to several bug reports over the lst month.

    Please refer to tehse files when addressing my bug reports.

    I have repeatedly reported tehse bugs, most of which have been occurring with multiple vesions of illustrator, some ating back decades, through multiple versions and mutiple mac models, through multiple operating systems.

13. Relink error

    Illustrator 2019 gives an error, more often than not, when re-linking a graphic.
    It has always been a buggy application, but this version is ridiculous – it is so unusable that I am looking around for alternatives

14. Stroked Paths get notches or bleeding in sharp connections

    Paths with a stroke color and no fill are still filling random corners within the shape. I've rebuilt the shape, and checked for redundant nodes, but neither has fixed the problem. To make is worse, this is happening to to connection points at random (sometimes it has a fill, sometimes it doesn't). Definitely a bug, and a very major one.

    Also, copying the artwork into a new document, or even into InDesign, does not fix it. Placing the artwork in InDesign actually makes the preview glitch out. It's as if Adobe gave CC 2018 a lobotomy!

15. Type Box fills with x's

    When I choose the Type Box tool, and click in the document to create a Type Box or simply place text, as soon as the box is created, it fills with X's/squares and goes off on it's own continually typing the X/square.

    At that point I am not touching the keyboard, there is no key being held down, yet it seems to be "stuck" in creating the X/square.

    Initially it only happened with Myriad Pro, so I uninstalled that font. Then it continued to do it with Arial. Now it does it, no matter what. I've un-installed Illustrator and re-installed and am still dealing with the same issue. I've attached a video here. You'll see the first time I go to type, it does it.

    Then, I create a new box and it does not do it. It works normally.

    I create another box, and it starts doing it again. I am not touching the keyboard or any keys when the x/square boxes go off on their own.

    When I do try to continue typing, you'll see the text continue to run away even when parts of words appear, the x/square shows up in the middle.

16. Workspaces not working at all

    Today (Mar 19th, 2018) I updated Illustrator and upon (re)launching, NONE of my pallets/Windows opened into the application. When I try to switch to built-in or custom Workspaces, nothing changes. The Workspace STAYS selected as my previously-selected Workspace and none show up. If I manually go look at the Windows in the menu, none are open and I can MANUALLY open them and move them around... "Manage Workspaces" and "New Workspace" are disabled (Gray) and no matter what I do, I cannot change or override. I have quit/relaunched numerous times - same results.

17. Imported eps fonts are wrong

    Imported eps fonts are wrong in Illustrator CC 2019 (and also at all other previous versions)
    OS - Windows 7 64bit
    - I export a figure from Matlab with predefined font name (Arial) but Illustrator consistently opens it as Helvetika.
    When the image is opened in Acrobat the font is actually Arial.
    See the attached figure for the bug. The same image opened in actobat / illustrator.

18. Workspace panels move on their own

    While using the new Illustrator CC v.23, the workspace will randomly move around and cover up the artboard that I am working on. I can simply click "reset workspace" and it's back to normal it is very frequently that the workspaces move around randomly. Please fix, Thanks.

    We have a feature to popup colors panel when you click on fill/stroke proxy. Please remove the colors panel from the the workspace when it pops-up you should be fine. When I say remove you just have to remove from the dock and keep it as a floating

19. "Current proportions" option missing from Illustrator CC 2019

20. GPU performance color

    Illustrator CC 2019
    Mojave 10.14.1

    Bright RGB red/pink appearing correctly in swatch, but washed out when filling a shape with same colour on artboard.

    Only way I've found to fix this is to turn off GPU performance and the colour then appears bright and correct, but with GPU off live drawing is very laggy.

    Any fix for this??
