  1. Illustrator Freezes when trying to scroll fonts

    When text is highlighted, and I go to change the font and use the scroll bar on the right to scroll down, the program freezes indefinitely.

    No custom fonts installed.

    2021 Macbook Pro M1 running Sonoma MacOs 14.3.1 (23D60). No other applications open.

    I used the MacOs Screenshot App to record the bug in action. However - when recording my screen, the bug does NOT happen. I tested this multiple times. Talk about the observer effect...

  2. Graph styling does not survive round-trip save to cloud

    When I save a document locally containing a styled graph the graph styling sticks after updating the data. If the same file is saved to the cloud as an .AIC file when I update the data the styling is lost. Saving this file locally does not fix the issue – all styling has to be re-applied. This means I cannot use the cloud to keep template copies of my graph designs for future use.

  4. AI & C4D launched together make Mac Sonoma freeze

    Whenever AI 28.4.1 and Cinema 4D 2024.3.2 are open at the same time MacOS freezes and reboots. Has happened at least a dozen times. Apple M2 Max Sonoma 14.4.1.

  5. When linking HEIC files with the HEIC extension on Windows, if the files are nested, they cannot be open

    When linking HEIC (HEIF) files with the HEIC (HEIF) extension on Windows, there is a bug that if the files are nested, they cannot be opened in the link window.

  6. Symbol Sprayer

    I'm using Illustrator 28.2. Since I've been using this version, the symbol sprayer is acting odd. No matter what size diameter I select, it always sprays a tiny symbol that I have to enlarge. Not that big of a deal, except, most of the time it sprays multiple symbols and I don't know this until I enlarge it. Anyone else experiencing this?

  7. Enormément de latence

    Je rencontre des problèmes avec illustrator. Mon ordinateur est équipé de Windows 10 et d'une carte graphique NVIDIA RTX A4500 à jour. Depuis la version 28.0 de l'application, celle-ci met beaucoup de temps à se lancer et lorsque cela se produit, je n'arrive pas à accéder à l'écran d'accueil où je peux choisir le type de plan de travail que je souhaite utiliser. Je suis contraint d'ouvrir directement un fichier depuis mon explorateur de fichiers, sinon l'application ne fonctionne pas. De plus, une fois que j'ai ouvert un fichier, il y a un temps de latence d'au moins 30 secondes,…

  8. HEX Value can't overwrite spot colors in color palette

    I set a global color (Spot or process doesn't matter) but if I try to enter any code in the HEX value field, I'm not allowed to type anything. I must first convert the color to CMYK or RGB with the appropriate button and only at this point I'm allowed to type the code in the HEX field
    It would be much more practical to be able to insert the HEX code even without having to necessarily convert the color to CMYK or RGB first

  9. Translate Mistake

    In the "Your files" in homepage and language setting as Traditional Chinese , there is a existing mistake about translation. In English, the word "Replicate" should be translated as "複製" in Traditional Chinese, rather than "复制" it's in Simplified Chinese. Hope your company can translate corresponding to the local language.

  10. テキストボックス内での強制改行

    Adobe Illustrator 28.1、OS13.6.3、OS11.7.10

    テキストボックスで均等配置（最終行左揃え）を使用。テキストにtabを挿入しsift + 改行 （強制改行）すると落ちます。
    別のmac（os11.7.100）でも検証しましたが落す。

  11. Gradients with opacity act as a clipping mask for objects behind them

    When working with complex groups and gradients, often times an object with a semi-transparent gradient ends up removing the graphics from grouped items below it.

    The solution I've found is to ungroup and regroup items, but I feel this shouldn't happen in the first place. It also disrupts my workflow and how I group items in the first place.

    I don't know how to describe the steps to recreate it, other than "it happens sometimes." I think it happens more often if I've created Blends, even if those blends have been expanded.

  12. Illustrator often fails to build a smooth blend for paths with mismatched number of anchors

    Take a look at the file attached and watch the images attached.
    Two curves are blended: one has 4 anchors, another one has 5 anchors.
    The blend Ai build has weird irregular slits in the middle.

    If you expand the blend and select problematic anchors, you’ll see that positions are correct, but some handles get interpolated wrongly.

    This happens often in many other scenarios.
    The current workaround is to add more points to blend, trying to guess and control which point get paired with another.
    Another workaround is to cut curves in pieces and blend in chunks.

  15. Editing a repeat object unhides unrelated objects

    When editing a repeat object in isolation mode then after exiting the isolation mode, other (unrelated) objects that were formerly hidden, get unhidden.

  16. 'Share a review link to your file' advertisement dialog still pops when disabled

    Sometimes, when I save a PDF file (at least in Illustrator Beta), I get this dialog.
    I would like to see it go away forever.

    It pops up in the most inopportune moment — when I already decided to save a PDF and when I need to SAVE my data, and not to TRY something new. 'Come not between a user and his saved data'. Saving a file is an emergency operation — always, each time — JUST DON’T INTERFERE.

    Even though I already chose to never see it again, I still get it. Just use 1KB of your Cloud…

  18. Take long time when create new file / open file / save file on local

    I'm using macbook m2, I just downloaded Ps and Ai from Adobe Creative Cloud. Ps is normal but Ai always loading (about 3mins) when I create new file, open file and save file. Please help me fix it.

  19. Automatic hyphenation with + instead of -

    Sometimes (not always), the automatic hyphenation divides the word with an "+" sign, instead of a "-" sign, which it should be. It appears with various fonts, it is NEVER reliable, sometimes I write a PDF for the customer, it has the + inside, I see it, I open the AI again and everything if fine again, without restarting anything or changing anything. Sometimes it gets not written correctly for weeks and I have to hyphenate myself, which we all know, is a drag in Illustrator.

    Where is the Problem located, and how do we fix it.
