Flickering when zooming with animation after update to Illustrator 2024 28.3
I was trying to fix the insane lag in the previous version, even though I had all the drivers updated(I have MSI RTX 3080 and Ryzen Threadripper 3960X with 64 GB of RAM so it's not a performance issue).
After updating the lag got worse and when I zoomed in with the GPU enhancing features which is zoom with animation. The canvas was flickering when using the zoom shortcut CTRL+SPACEBAR. I then opened a fresh document and noticed this problem wouldn't occur. So the issue is the fact I had the view grid on on my other document.

Adobe Illustrator 27.8.1 creates a pdf where the colour space of the custom profile is incorrect
Hello,
I came back from holiday today and a colleague at work told me that she can't create PDF files from Adobe Illustrator with the output intent that it saves but reports a colour space error when opened in Adobe Acrobat. First I deleted all the presets but the error remained. I also tried creating a PDF file with other profiles (created by us) and the error was there for all of them. But if I used the default profiles from Adobe (e.g. Iso Coated v2), the PDF file can be opened correctly. Finally I downgraded Illustrator to version 27.7…13 votes -
Renaming a color group in Recolor makes a duplicate group
When I rename a swatch group on Color Guide interface, it automatically duplicates the color group even though no alteration took place to the included color swatches themselves. I don't want that! I just simply need a way to rename each color group just like each swatch.
The only workaround of this bug is to rename a group without duplication is to select all the in-group swatches and make another group under a new name. Then, delete the emptied previous group. What an ungraceful user experience...4 votes -
스포이드로 다른 쉐입을 찍으면 흰색깔로 바뀝니다.
원래 스포이드로 다른 쉐입을 찍으면 그 쉐입이 가지고 있는 속성(색깔, 획 등)이 모두 복사되어 들어와야 되는데 적용이 안됩니다.
무조건 흰색으로 바뀝니다.버전: 2021 (최신 버전도 똑같음. )

Text Input Fields Displaying as Broken Text
Sonoma 14.5 running on MacBook M1 Pro.
All input fields are now ????????? every time I select them edit values. All keystrokes turn into ?.
The only third party apps I use are rectangle and scroll reverser. Problem persists after closing the apps. Running the same version of Illustrator on an M2 MBP at work with no issue.

Entering a new value for width or height in Properties Panel sometimes add the value to the old one instead of replacing it
If I enter a new value for either W or H in Properties then it will take that new value and add it to the initial one.
I did not provide any input for a additive value. It does not happen every time but here and there an instance like that will occur.
Say the shape is 1024px by 1024px and I wanted to make it 2048px by 1024px.
Ai will then sometimes make it 3072px by 3072px.
Other times it will just scale the shape up to fill the entire workable space in Ai.1 vote -
Recolor Artwork tool broken
Mac Sonoma 14.2.1, Illustrator desktop 28.5 Recolor Artwork,
1) I click on the arrow between current color and new color to prevent the tool from changing the current color but the tool is changing the color anyway and including it in the mix when rotating colors around from a color group.
2) Two colors are in a current color row and I used to be able to drag one of them out to an empty row, but now when I attempt to drag just one of the two, they both move.

Canvas is flickering after waking the computer up
Flickering around the artboard when the type tool is selected. The system had been in sleep mode for about an hour. When I returned, dragging my mouse over the window, the area surrounding the artboard flickered. Every mouse movement made the background flicker. It did not happen if the window was not the foremost window active.

Nested Linked AI Files don’t display proper fonts
Nested or linked AI files inside other AI layouts are not letting the fonts come through. It renders to default font.

Paste in front places objects in a wrong position
Just updated to Illustrator 28.3 on macOS Ventura 13.4 on iMac 19,1.
Paste in front is fine on current artboard copied from. But paste in front does not land in corresponding location on another target artboard.
i.e. - copy text or art from artboard A. Paste in front artboard A lands in exact same spot. Paste in front artboard B (same size, but to the right of A) lands at -6.568" @ 139.125° from artboard A location (up and to the left). Artboard C (2nd document) lands up and to the left -19.6735" @ 169.064° of expected location.1 voteThe bug vanished after a reboot.

Generated Pattern Glitch in 28.6
In the newest release of Adobe Illustrator (28.6), when I use the generated pattern feature, the pattern does not match up along the edges (does not create a seamless pattern). When I switch back to the previous version, I do not have this issue.

Pattern shifts when opening a SVG file
When I try to open an SVG file with patterns, they seem to randomly shift. It might be an issue with the origin point, but I'm not sure. When I open the SVG file in Inkscape or an internet browser, everything appears fine. However, in Illustrator, the patterns always shift regardless of the settings and preferences.

タイトルのとおりですが、共有ページへのリンクを開いてもほとんどエラーでページが表示されません。自分だけではなく、会社の同僚もみんな同じ様な状態です。リロードしてもスーパーリロードしても全く関係なくエラーが出続けます。もう通算数百回くらいエラーが出ていますがまるで改善されないため報告に来ました。たまにエラーが出るくらいならまだよいのですが、たまにちゃんとみれる（5回中1回くらいはちゃんと表示されます）というような状態なので早急に改善をお願いできますか。

Modifying paragraph / character style doesn't trigger the unsaved changes flag
Illustrator doesn't prompt to save changes to paragraph styles if no other changes are made to a document.
To reproduce:
1. Create a document, add a paragraph style, save and close.
2. Reopen document, modify the paragraph style, close document.Expected:
At the end of step 2, when closing the document, Illustrator should ask if I want to save my changes, but it does not. After modifying the paragraph style, I can also see that the asterisk (*) does not appear next to the filename on the current tab, which normally indicates unsaved changes.28.2 on macOS 12.6.5

Reproducible crash > flatten transparency w/ text to outlines, then direct selection
I've been getting a lot of crashes after flattening a linked PDF and then selecting an area with a significant amount of vector outlines (i.e. a few paragraphs of text or a complex drawing). Illustrator instantly crashes when I make the selection with the white arrow direct selection tool.
I can send you an example PDF and AI file that contains a full explanation of how to reproduce the crash. To be clear, it's not just this PDF file – I'm getting crashes with many different PDF files from various sources when I perform similar operations on them.

Illustrator 2024 keeps crashing, no crash report, no recovery files
I've been using Illustrator on my desktop since 2019, I haven't changed anything on my setup in terms of hardware or software. Illustrator was working perfectly fine up until lately (within the last 2 months). I've worked on large files and multiple files with heavy memory loads perfectly fine. But now, I can barely have two Illustrator documents open without it crashing. A crash report doesn't pop up and it doesn't save my recovery files even though I have that function enabled. Shift + F puts screen in presentation mode.
WIth version 28.2 Shift + F puts the screen in presentation mode even though there is no hotkey setting for it, it was blank in the keyboard shortcut menu.
I added a hotkey command that i would never use to so it doesn't keep going into it when I accidentally hit those keys since ctrl + F i use a lot. and Shift + F still puts it in presentation mode. I have never had this issue before until today...

Real-Time Drawing and Editing mode does not work for objects with both an effect and opacity mask added
If an object has an opacity mask, Illustrator renders it correctly when the object is moved, the mask moves together with the object.
But if you apply an effect to this object, Illustrator will keep the mask in place while the object is moved, as if it has the mask unlinked.
On the other hand, if you unlink the mask for the object without the effect and try to move it — Illustrator will render it wrong again, as if the mask is linked, until you release the object.

Problème Export 3D dans Illustrator: fichier .OBJ et USDZ
Dans illustrator, après avoir appliqué l'effet 3D, je l'exporte en fichier .OBJ et .USDZ.
Les problèmes sont:
- Bug de luminosité (trop forte et non corrigeable) du fichier .OBJ dans After effect (Image ci jointe)
- Bug du fichier .USDZ (absence de texture) lors de l'affichage en réalité augmentée sur Iphone (derniere version IOS 17.4.1) (image ci jointe)Pouvez-vous corriger ces bugs svp? trop nombreux à mon gout pour un logiciel payant..

Illustrator crashes when saving big files
Please have Illustrator stop crashing when opening big files and when you hit COMMAND + S to save... SAVE THE FREAKING DOCUMENT
