  1. Highlighting text leads to disappearing artboards

    This tends to only happen when I have minimized the screen to be half of my desktop size. Whenever I highlight text in Illustrator the artboard disappears and it only comes back when I've selected the selection tool and click in the work space.

  2. Application Memory Spiking

    MacBook Pro, Apple M2 Pro, 16GB, macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 (23C71)
    Illustrator V 28.3

    Product is crashing and RAM usage is sky-rocketing to 300GB+, have to wait for the system to recover before making further actions in program.
    Periodically occurs when 3D objects are populating the artboard but unclear whether this is linked or not.

  4. Text to vector unable to generate text graphics

    Tried generating a graphic that included text with the new beta "text to vector" feature, however, it is unable to correctly spell the words.

  5. Toolbar menus display only two rows at a time

    I'm using Illustrator 28.0 on Windows 11 Professional, Lenovo ThinkPad laptop. Since the latest update, the toolbar menus show only two rows with the option to scroll up/down to see the other items (two at a time), which is very inconvenient. I've closed and restarted Illustrator, but no change to the interface.

  6. outline stroke error on live paint group

    If you try to outline stroke in a live paint group, Illustrator throws an error (The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error [PARM])

  7. Specific gradients across/along stroke with Overprint Stroke option are broken

    In the attached file you can see two identical gradients applied to two identical paths. One looks fragmented and shattered, something is really off with the tessellation. The other one is fine.

    If you select the weird one disable the Overprint Stroke option in Attributes — it works fine. Choose another and enable the option — it gets corrupted as well.

    If you copy either in a new file — the behavior continues. But if you try to reproduce this bug anew in a new file from the scratch — it won’t get reproduced.

  8. Text is uneditable.

    I have large text files in my illustrator artboards and when I try to edit the copy, it only allows me to select a singular letter rather than being able to simply click the text and edit it.

  10. Can't change the color of a gradient stop to an existing swatch

    Most infuriating Gradient Swatch forever bug. This bug has been persistent through the past several updates and I don't understand why Adobe is ignoring such an infuriating bug that should not be that hard to correct. Click on the gradient stop and select a swatch from the popup swatches palette and no effect.

    1 別名で保存を実行
    2 表示されたダイアログから「Creative Cloudへ保存」を選択
    3保存場所を選択して「保存」ボタンをクリックするとエラーとなる

  12. Illustrator Crashes When Trying To View Using CPU or Pixel Preview (All Versions)

    Been happening for quite some time now. When trying to view a pixel preview of my document it will hang then crash. Same exact thing happens if I try to "view using CPU". Also have been getting a weird "hairline" pink line around non-stroked objects.

    Attached pictures of the pink outline around the gray in the one picture and another around the white and the gray. It seems to change as I zoom in and out which makes me think it's a rendering/driver bug. I think this issue and the original crashing when trying to select CPU or Pixel Preview…

  13. 3D Crashing

    I have used 3D materials on my ASUS TUF Dash FTS for over a year with no prior issues. Last night, upon updating to version 28.1, every time I even click on the 3D materials menu within the window tab, it immediately stops responding and crashes. I have Uninstalled, reinstalled, reset preferences, cleaned up creative cloud, deleted almost everything on my computer and freed up an additional 100 GB of space (I have 600GB of space total), I have gotten rid of every plugin. I am just at a complete loss because I can now not complete assignments because even…

  14. Optical kerning issue in some Japanese fonts

    1. macOS Monterey（version 12.3.1）／Illustrator 26.3.1

    In optical kerning for many Japanese fonts,
    the space between characters is too narrow and some characters overlap.

  15. 'Creative Cloud Files' folder shortcut keeps appearing in Finder side bar

    I delete this shortcut every time it reappears, how can I stop it from reappearing? I thought Adobe deprecated the file sync? I have been seeing notifications about it going away in February 2024.

    Anyways, it's annoying, i've never used CC file storage, it would be great to be able to completely remove it from the UI.

  16. Illustrator 27.9 not functioning even with the most simple tasks 2023

    I get a spinning wheel on the simple task of tipping and trying to move a 4-letter word. The word doesn't follow my cursor. I outlined the word, and I can't move it or duplicate without getting the spinning wheel. I created a simple rectangle and I get the same. Change color, resize, duplicate with keyboard, the same. I closed all other apps, the same. Can't work with the app, it's useless. Please help.

  17. Unknown error when placing PDF in illustrator

    An unknown error occurs when placing PDF files into Illustrator. This appears to be an M1 issues as it does not occur on the Intel platforms or when I launch the Intel version on the M1 System.

  18. AI 28.0 preferences corrupted by 28.1 with some 3rd party plugins

    When updating from Illustrator 28.0 to 28.1, some preference files may be corrupted if AI is running certain 3rd party plugins. These include any written with Hot Door's CORE and incorporating a WebView widget to display a web page, but I have received reports of this behavior with some SDK plugins as well.

    The problem it creates is that new files are not added to the File > Open Recent Files list, and any change to a different workspace is not saved.

    For my macOS Ventura with AI 28.1, deleting these preference files solved the problem: Plug-in Cache and plugincache.bin.

  19. 合成フォントがつくれない

    1.illustrator 26.5
    2.合成フォント作成時。プルダウンからフォントの変更
    3.フォントを変更できる
    4.フォントをプルダウンから選んでも、フォントが変わらない。（初期設定されいるもののまま変更できない）

    上記のバグはフォントだけでなく、ウェイトの変更もできません

  20. Don’t allow to create anything in the dedicated Dimensions layer except dimensions

    标注尺寸后新建图形问题
    当标注完尺寸后，新建图形会出现在尺寸图层，要想在原图层绘制，必须选择原图层后再建立，我认为这是一个bug，尺寸图层作为一个特殊的独立图层，不应该有其他图形出现。当尺寸标注完绘制新图形时，软件应该自动识别这不是尺寸标注操作，应该回到原图层，不应停留在尺寸图层。
