レイヤー名に改行コードが入っている場合、MacとWindowsでレイヤーパネルの表記が異なる。
macOS Ventura 13.6.3、Windows10／11
Illustrator ver.28.2（以前のバージョンも同様の挙動）1.テキストエディタ等から改行を含むテキストをコピーする。
2.Illustratorに移り、新規ドキュメントを開きレイヤーパネルを選択する。
3.レイヤー 1を選択しレイヤー名をダブルクリックするかダイアログを表示してレイヤー名にテキストエディター等でコピーした改行を含むテキストをペーストする。
4.Macでは改行がZWNBSのように扱われ表示されます。Windowsでは改行として扱われ改行以後が折り返され上部だけがかすかに見えます。期待する結果
プラットフォームが違ってもレイヤー名の表示がおなじになる。実際の結果
MacとWindowsでレイヤー名の表示が異なる。これはレイヤー名に改行コードが入ってしまうという特殊なケースでの挙動の違いです。しかし、レイヤー名をテキストエディタ等からコピーしてきてペーストするというシナリオは考えられることです。プラットフォームの違いで表示が異なるのは問題です。
理想を言えば、レイヤー名に改行が混ざっていた場合は改行コード自体をドロップしてしまうのが良いように思います。Windowsの折り返して読めない部分が生じるのはダメです。8 votes -
縦横比
Mac OS:14.5
Ai ver:28.6線があるオブジェクトを
縦横比を固定にしてプロパティパネルやツールバーに数値を入れて変形すると、
縦横比が崩れる（塗りだけの時は崩れない）
正方形と正円で確認追記）SHIFTを押しながらバウンディングボックスで変形させても縦横比が崩れます

Illustrator Crashed, Ruined My Workspace and Preferences.
Illustrator crashed while centering a simple vector. Upon restart, my workspace was entirely altered and all of my preferences had been removed. I really hate Adobe.

Seit zwei Tagen kann ich mit Illustrator keine Files mehr öffen; ich habe es deinstalliert, auch mit das CloudCleanerTool verwendet, aber sobald ich ein neues Dokument anlegen oder ein bereits erstelltes laden möchte, bleibt das Programm hängen.

SVG Save As 'SVG Code...' not same as marked up saved SVG. This now matches Export As SVG
The content saved when you Save As... SVG is different in 28.5 to 28.3. When you click SVG Code... the text file preview matches that of the old version. Example file header:

Illustrator 29.1 for Mac Sonoma 14.6.1 'Save as' command not working
'Save as' isn't working. Files can only be saved by using the 'Save a Copy' command or 'Save'.

New Document has strange green lines, rulers, checkered background, and second artboard
My Illustrator recently updated to 28.7.1
Now, when I create a new document in Illustrator, the artboard/working area looks like the attached file.
I'm confused at what this is and the checkerboard background is messing up my vision!!
How do I go back to the plain dark gray work surface with WHITE artboard view?
Also, when I am trying to create 1 artboard, it keeps creating 2 artboards...one filling the whole background and 1 the size that I specified....

Accented characters in PDF not showing correctly
Imported PDF text has spurious spaces (and broken into different text blocks). In the source program the only difference is whether RTF is encoded using charset-encoding in the current code page (OK) or using unicode reference (like this). In PDF readers looks correct either way.

does not export SVG
Illustrator 28.4.1 (64 bit) does not export SVG through the Export for Screens window. The start of svg export window appears, but nothing is saved or exported

Scrollbar breaks using stylus (windows/wacom)
While I'm using a stylus, if I use the scrollbar, illustrator acts as if I haven't released from the scroll bar and continues to wildly scroll, and all other features including closing the program are inaccessible. This continues even if I tab out of the program and doesn't stop until I force quit illustrator.

Thanks for reporting the issue, but we are unable to reproduce the issue at our end and would need more information such as the AI build with which the issue started, Wacom device configuration, and OS details of the machine where the issue is observed.

Not sure who angered Microsoft, but Adobe Apps not Working again!
It seems like every Tuesday, after Microsoft sports it's guerilla updates, Adobe Apps, especially Illustrator Beta and Illustrator 2024 stop working. They will launch, but won't stay open for long before they just disappear. And though it pretends to save your work, it doesn't. This is probably the fifth or sixth time this has happened.
Last time this happened, I had to uninstall the entire creative suite and run a special program to wipe my drives of all things Adobe then reinstall from scratch to get it to work. What a nightmare.

Illustrator Version 28.7.1 - xmpfile does not have a constructor ( using Extendscript with Illustrator )
OS: macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 (23G93)
Illustrator version 28.7.1Prior to this update I have been able through extendscript to read XMP data from a file. After the update I get an error:
"XMPfile does not have a constructor".
on the line of code:
var xmpf = new XMPFile(.........Reverting to the prior version resolves the issue.

Export As SVG - incorrect size
I compared the results of the "Save As SVG" and "Export As SVG" commands.
I found that the "Export" option often produces incorrect sizes, especially with patterns containing a lot of fine details.The decimal point settings are the same in both cases.

Scrubby Zoom stopped working
My Scrubby Zoom suddenly stopped working. It worked this morning and after it wouldn't work at all.
It's activated in my GPU Performance under Animated Zoom.
I'm NOT in Pixel Preview or in Traced Preview.
I have a 2023 Macbook Pro M2 Max Sonoma 14.6.1

Can someone help me?

Direct selection tool doesn't work 90% of the time
90% of the time when I use the direct selection tool (and I'm sure I am using the rght tool because the curser turns white as it should when this tool is selected) I can't manipulate anchors and instead am dragging the entire shape.

以下兩種方式都 無法反映 更新後的解析度：1) photoshop內變更完檔案，ai自動跳出「是否更新連結？」視窗，點確認後、跑圖，圖片還是維持舊連結檔狀態
2)「連結」視窗中，選取「多個連結」並按「重新連結」鈕之後，跑圖，圖片還是維持舊連結檔狀態
最後用一個方法可以 正確更新 連結圖檔：
3) 於「連結」視窗點擊「單獨圖片」，重新連結、跑圖後是正確更新的連結檔解析度；但這等於需要一張一張點擊

Illustrator 28.6問題が発生したときに実行していた手順
1. 画像を配置し、選択した状態で「画像トレース」パネルを開く。
2. プレビューをチェックしカラーモードをグレースケールに設定する。
3. 詳細を展開しオプションの「カラーを透過」のチェックボックスをチェックする。
4. カラーを透過がアクティブになっているにも関わらずカラーピッカーが選択できない。想定していた結果
他のカラーモードのようにカラーピッカーで透過色を選択できる。実際の結果
カラーピッカーで透過色を選択できない。デフォルトでは白が透過色となっているためカラーを変更していない場合にチェックボックスをチェックした場合は白が透過されるが、他のカラーモードで透過色を選択した上でカラーモードをグレースケールに変更した場合、 透過色が以前のモードのまま保持されるため透過される部分がなくなる。EN

「行送りを設定」スピンボタンによる書式変更はヒストリーパネル上で二重にリストアップされてしまいます。⌘（ctr）+zのショートカットやメニューの「取り消し」も２回操作が必要です。これはヒストリーパネルが実装された当初から存在するバグです。

Inconsistent Print Results with Intertwine Tool
The Intertwine tool does not appear to have consistent results from screen to print. A number of images in which I used the tool appear perfectly fine on screen, and even when exported to different file types (such as jpg), but when they are printed directly from their native AI file, the intertwined areas create graphical abnormalities. I've provided one such example below. The right shows the Intertwine tool failing to show the latch plate in between the hook's base and the hook's tip. In the left image, I've corrected this using a transparency mask instead. Please investigate and fix.
