Illustrator Crashes When Trying To View Using CPU or Pixel Preview (All Versions)
Been happening for quite some time now. When trying to view a pixel preview of my document it will hang then crash. Same exact thing happens if I try to "view using CPU". Also have been getting a weird "hairline" pink line around non-stroked objects.
Attached pictures of the pink outline around the gray in the one picture and another around the white and the gray. It seems to change as I zoom in and out which makes me think it's a rendering/driver bug. I think this issue and the original crashing when trying to select CPU or Pixel Preview…

3D Crashing
I have used 3D materials on my ASUS TUF Dash FTS for over a year with no prior issues. Last night, upon updating to version 28.1, every time I even click on the 3D materials menu within the window tab, it immediately stops responding and crashes. I have Uninstalled, reinstalled, reset preferences, cleaned up creative cloud, deleted almost everything on my computer and freed up an additional 100 GB of space (I have 600GB of space total), I have gotten rid of every plugin. Blend Tool Not Distributing Spaces Correctly
When using the blend tool and selecting the "distance between" mode, it is messing up. If I want as many steps as is possible with 3./4" gap between them, I used to be able to select blend and apply distance and the gap would remain constant at 3/4" between pieces that blended. Now, the space is being changed each time which eliminates the utility of distance between. Please fix this, it's ruining the blend mode. If this is the way you are doing it, you need to add a Distance Bertween function that calculates a constant distance between graduating elements.…

'Creative Cloud Files' folder shortcut keeps appearing in Finder side bar
I delete this shortcut every time it reappears, how can I stop it from reappearing? I thought Adobe deprecated the file sync? I have been seeing notifications about it going away in February 2024.
Anyways, it's annoying, i've never used CC file storage, it would be great to be able to completely remove it from the UI.

Illustrator 27.9 not functioning even with the most simple tasks 2023
I get a spinning wheel on the simple task of tipping and trying to move a 4-letter word. The word doesn't follow my cursor. I outlined the word, and I can't move it or duplicate without getting the spinning wheel. I created a simple rectangle and I get the same. Change color, resize, duplicate with keyboard, the same. I closed all other apps, the same. Can't work with the app, it's useless. Please help.

AI 28.0 preferences corrupted by 28.1 with some 3rd party plugins
When updating from Illustrator 28.0 to 28.1, some preference files may be corrupted if AI is running certain 3rd party plugins. These include any written with Hot Door's CORE and incorporating a WebView widget to display a web page, but I have received reports of this behavior with some SDK plugins as well.
The problem it creates is that new files are not added to the File > Open Recent Files list, and any change to a different workspace is not saved.
For my macOS Ventura with AI 28.1, deleting these preference files solved the problem: Plug-in Cache and plugincache.bin.

Don’t allow to create anything in the dedicated Dimensions layer except dimensions

No overprint objects but a dash appears in Attributes panel
Documents that have no fill or stroke objects set to Overprint show a dash in the Attributes panel checkbox that makes you suspect there is overprint. Confusing, nothing should be checked if nothing is set to overprint. The example show a dash for fill when the image is selected and a faint dash for stroke when the text is selected.

Typo causes harsh generative AI warning
My prompt for generative AI was "abscract [sic] background with 4 quotations". Illustrator threw a red warning: "One or more of your terms violate guidelines". I couldn't capture the screen because the warning disappeared quickly. When I corrected the spelling to "abstract" it generated results without a warning. Seems the warning should be a little different for this.

Lag on cursor and selections "sticking" to the cursor
There is a lag on all selections in Illustrator 28.2. When I select any item I literally have to wait 2-3 seconds before I can move my cursor, else the selection "sticks" to my cursor and moves with it until I click again to drop it and then I have to ⌘Z to send the selection back to it's intended location so I can make the changes I need to make. SUPER FRUSTRATING.
I have a new Macbook Pro with loads of RAM and never had this issue until the latest Illustrator update.

Objects are rasterized when pasted from the buffer history
When I paste a vector object from the history of the clipboard it is pasted as a raster object. This bug is contained in versions 27.1.1 and 27.2 (Beta)
I use the program for Clipboard Manager "Unclutter".
Because of this bug, it is impossible to use the program normally
No such bug is observed in Illustrator 26Mac OS 13.0.1 (22A400)

Can't copy paste between tabs using the keyboard shortcut
I've found lately that copy pasting content from one open document to another doesn't work when using the Ctrl-V shortcut. Manually selecting Edit->Paste from the menu seems to work as a workaround.

UI scaling reverts when using a 4K monitor
I've enabled UI scaling to the second smallest option, and it initially works, but if I open a window from my workspace when the workspace is collapsed into icon view, and then go back to the full workspace view, the UI for the window downscales. Steps to reproduce:
- Set UI scaling to second smallest option
- Restart Illustrator
- Expand Workspace to panels (note UI size)
- Collapse Workspace to icons
- Click on an icon to open window
- Click on the same icon again to collapse the window back to the Workspace
- Expand the Workspace to panels again (note UI size for the…

Older name is used in Share for Review
When sending for review, I have shared it with my alternate email, and it keeps pulling up my former name- this was changed on my account setting in google admin, as well as my contacts list. How can I find out where it is finding and autopoulating my old name?

Erratic Page numbering in 'Show Print Tiling'
When printing a large artwork covering several A4s, the page numbering after selecting 'Show Print Tiling' is erratic. As you can see in the attached file, there's two times 25 and 27, but 21 and 26 are missing. This is an issue if you want to avoid printing blank pages. I have to manually count to get the correct page number.
