1. The ignoreWhite property of tracingOptions does not work

   Illustrator v 28.0 - Image Trace option check box for Ignore White has been replaced with Ignore Color and an eyedropper option. While I think this is a good addition for manual use, it appears to have somewhat broken the ability to use image trace properly in javascript as the change has made the original "tracingOptions.ignoreWhite = true" no longer work. I suspect there is now an additional option/variable responsible for the color to be ignored's selection but it doesnt appear to be refferenced in any of the current documentation. I've tried adding the method for Abutting (also undocumented) as to enable ignore white option. I've also tried to blindly implement an option for ignorColor to establish a color. but still can no longer use any script that depends on white being ignored from an image trace. This is a fairly sizable setback for my workflow which worked fine before the update. Any feedback on this issue (particularly if someone in the know can provide the options that now need to be set in a script for image trace to ignore white) would be greatly appreciated.

2. Adobe Fonts won’t load in Creative Cloud Desktop app

3. Program immediately crashes

   In Swatches panel, when clicking on 'Swatch Options' icon, program crashes immediately. closes and bug report window comes up.

4. Assets I use for hundreds of documents in my CC library not printing correctly

   Some files the library file is fine, but recently the certain asset is not printing correctly, it is pixelated and colors are wrong. How is this fixed without going through hundreds of print files to reinsert this asset into all of the files so it prints perfect? Its used at the same scale everytime. Has to be saved the same way every time bc of the printer demands. It's just not behaving the same way each document. In the pictures one printed correctly, and the other file did not.

6. 3D inflated art has rippled edges

   I'm getting rippled edges when I apply inflate to vector artwork. I've tried various settings but can't get it to appear as smooth lines. There's also a slight clipping to the right pupil. Can't get it to render properly.

7. Strange behaviour when scaling rectangles

   In Illustrator 28.4.1 on Windows 11, if a rectangle is rotated to 45, 135, 225, or 315 degrees, it isn't able to be reliably manually scaled. Some edge and corner handles snap to unpredictable positions when dragged.

9. Clipped images gets displayed on adjacent pages in exported PDFs in readers such as Microsoft Edge browsers

   When I place multiple images in a clipping mask, whether it is exported as PDF or saved as PDF, or even if I use Acrobat to optimize the PDF, some PDF readers such as Microsoft Edge will show the image at the bottom of the clipping mask. It becomes a color block displayed on the PDF, but these extra color blocks will disappear after enlarging the PDF interface.

12. Swatches panel does not remember the size of chips when toggling List / Thumbnails view

    When I choose to display Large Thumbnail View in Swatches panel’s flyout menu, I expect Ai to respect my size choice and remember it, when I use the two buttons in the panel itself to switch List / Thumbnails modes.

    Instead, Illustrator forces it to Small (which can be OK, since I never chose the List to be large) and does not even remember my previous choice when I switch back (which is totally not OK).

    Love and honor user data. This is what we use the app for — to create data. This includes not only the actual artwork, but presets and UI settings.

13. PDF opened without changes, but I can see the changes in preview

    1. macOs Big Sur 11.3.1
    2. adobe illustrator 25.3.1 (desktop)
    3. I'm importing PDF file that were changed. In preview before opening I see the changes on the image. Then I choose to import all pages. And when the file is opened, there are not changes and the name of the file is untitled.
    4. I expect to see file with all my changes and the title of the file is the same as the file I choose to open.

14. Stroke arrowheads mislabeled

    When changing the arrowheads on a stroke, the dropdown option images don't match the actual icon for the stroke arrowhead. It seems the the same arrowhead icon is previewing in the dropdown for multiple different selections. What you select is not what you get.

15. Undo stack becomes desynchronized when making a clipping mask using a group that contains another clipping mask

    I often want to clip a group that already contains another clipping mask, and sometimes I accidentally use the wrong top object when making the mask. In this case, Undo does not return the scene to its previous state. Instead, various strange things happen.

    To replicate:
    - Create a group (A) that contains a clipping mask (B) and at least one other object
    - Create an object (C) to be clipped
    - Bring A over top of C, select both and make clipping mask
    - Undo

    The scene should return to its original state, but instead the inner mask (B) is modified. Sometimes this presents as objects inside the mask losing their fill & stroke, and sometimes it presents as the inner mask(s) simply being released. (Seems to depend on just how complex the group is)

    It doesn't come up often, but when it does it's impossible to get the document back to its original state using undo, and can result in some lost work.

16. OS 14.4.1 Printer Page Size Features Lost

    I just updated to Mac OS 14.4.1 on a Mac mini (M1 2020) and now most of the paper size options in the Adobe printer dialogue box are gone. In any non-Adobe app, all 58 paper sizes are still available. In Adobe apps, there are only 14 paper size choices — all of the borderless choices are gone as well as some other, more obscure paper sizes. I've restarted, reloaded the printer driver and it's not made a difference. Looks like OS 14.4.1 messed up something that only affects Adobe products.

17. Large placed TIFFs fail to preview

    In the many months since, this has cropped up many times and I've had to find workarounds each time. Today is no exception - today's is a flat (not transparent) file 48640 × 26442px, CMYK. Preview fails without Rosetta; Rosetta succeeds in making a preview (but doesn't always, per discussion in the linked thread).

    1) Current hardware: 16-inch 2023 MBP. Apple M2 Max, 32GB Ram. Sonoma 14.6.1.
    2) Illustrator version 28.1
    3) placed a large TIFF
    4) expect a preview, don't get one
    5) happy to upload files if there's a private link

18. Animated Zoom not working properly - Blurry graphics when zooming or panning

    I use animated zoom a lot, usually through the shortcut CMD+Space+Drag Mouse Left/Right.

    I've been getting this bug of Blurry graphics for a couple of days, and it's really annoying. My current workaround is using Tab after image turns blurry, so the graphics "refresh" to its sharp state.

19. Crash when changing stroke options such as arrowheads or profile.

    Using Mac OS Sonoma, M1 MacBook Pro. Have tried restarting both Illustrator and my computer and the issue persists. Happens consistently every time I try the above options.
