Unit increments are not correct
I set my keyboard increments at 0,1 mm so when I click on an object I can move it by that amount, or when I use the shift-key it moves with 1 mm. However, it moves with 1 pt increments. Very annoying.

In case the same happens to you — please check all the snapping options in the View menu, especially Snap to Pixel, and the Keyboard Increment value in Preferences > General.

Links Placement Options does not preserve file dimensions after DRAGGING image into AI file
Hi. The Links panel>>>Placement Options>>>Preserve File Dimensions does not work for linked images that are placed by dragging files into the Illustrator document. Preserve File Dimensions does work when using the Place file menu option or keyboard shortcut. We have a client that drags files into our master AI file. They prefer to work this way, and we are trying to prevent scaling. Has anyone run into this issue?

Document grid with dots fails to render clean pixels. GPU/CPU rendering differs.
The dotted document grid renders differently between CPU and GPU modes. None of the alternatives renders perfect pixels in the selected grid color.
CPU renders vertically lighter smeared dots.
GPU renders horizontally smeared dots.See attached screenshots.

Leading not Displaying Correctly
Leading is not displaying properly in either the Character panel or in the Properties panel. Instead of showing the correct leading, Illustrator is showing the Auto value.
Changing between the text, selection or direct selection tools does not solve the problem.

Shadow rendering
So, I did something around 3d and I come into an interesting bug when I do a V-ray. Those ugly patchy things are there if any scenario, and after reinstalling. They show when I move, when I export and all that jazz. Any idea why this is happening?

Illustrator don't work after Mac OS update
I'm using mac mini m1 with the latest Ai CC update (26.4.1). But after the OS update (12.5.1) I can't get Ai to work, it stuck at startup screen, cant click to any menu or button (video included). I had to roll back to 25.1 (intel) version to continue my works. What should I do?

Let me tell you from the beginning, I'm not trying to get more votes here..
What does voting change? Does it produce a solution? What does it matter if I get 1,000,000,001 votes?
For example, there is a bug in illustrator and I prove it. But vote 3 etc. 5 Does this cease to be a bug? What a stupid app.
I have serious doubts that Uservoice is cumbersome.In the meantime, check my profile if you want to see my questions.

Delay from keyboard causes unnecessary errors
I've reported this in the past, and I'm shocked and frustrated that nothing has been done to resolve it: There is a delay between when a button is pressed on my keyboard and when Illustrator registers it. As someone who has used this application for over 20 years, I'm very fast. As a result, when pressing (for example) the OPTION key in order to do anything (like changing the direct selection tool to the Group Selection tool) it takes an additional half of a second for Illustrator to register the change. Cmd/Ctrl + Enter does not work in Properties to constrain a value temporarily
I want to say first of all. Maybe most people don't know this. For example, the Transform Palette has a great feature while holding down the Ctrl key. At least for me.
With Ctrl+Enter in the Transform Palette, I can scale proportionally enlarge/reduce regardless of whether the Constrain Width and Height Proportions button is selected or not.

URGENT: Enter key does not work in any Type Tools Illustrator Beta 26.6.555
Adobe Tech Support was unable to resolve.
This was not a problem in the prior release of 26.6 before .555
When using the type tool in any form, horizontal, vertical, etc., the enter key no longer inserts either a [CR] or [CR LF].
This is inconvenient for working with headlines or titling (attached graphic), but an absolute dealbreaker for working with long text.

Cannot grab corner handles on bounding box
Upgraded to latest version 26.5 this morning. Now, when I try and grab the corner handles on the bounding box, they flicker and disappear constantly, so cannot grab to rotate shapes or text boxes.

Selection and Direct selection tool behaviour errors
The issues have to do with what items are selected, and which properties are displayed in panels (appearance and attributes) when using the selection tool and the direct selection tool on various configurations of item.
Please see the attached AI file for a thorough QA breakdown of this issue (s).
The most impactful error can be seen when using the Direct Selection tool on an item(path or text) in a group which contains only that one single item.

Arrange Error
The program doesn't allow certain layers and artwork to be arranged to the front... have to start over on specific things because of whatever the bug is that doesn't allow "arrange" to work properly.

It's 2022. Can we get some glaring, long standing bugs fixed please?
There are long standing user requests for all of these:
'Export for Screens' still adds extra pixels on exports unless the artboards are placed to exact pixels
Artboards can't be moved to snap to exact pixels, meaning if you move artboards you probably have to manually remove any decimal places in the artboard position, or else Illustrator will add extra pixels on export...
Smart Guides show up when creating or moving artboards, but don't actually work because creating or moving Artboards doesn't snap
Artboard names will randomly revert back to old names

Illustrator is always disconnected from Creative Cloud
Illustrator refuses to load my fonts and color library. It doesn't sync with the creative cloud until much later if at all. I'm a design intern and it's extremely important I use our specific font and colors so not being able to access this really sets me back on my projects.

Unable to launch. Can't connect to server.
Have tried every suggestion I could find to fix this myself. I am connected to the internet; i have deleted and reinstalled; i have checked the logs, the hosts, my firewall, my system compatibility, and my drives. Seriously want this fixed asap.

GPU renderer fails on complex appearance stacks involving Knockout Group
I have an appearance stack that uses a scatter brush at 0% opacity to knockout parts of the underlying fill, thanks to Knockout Group being checked on this object.
It does not seem to work on the GPU renderer.
Some experimentation suggests that it does work if I shift the overall object's transparency from Hard Light to Normal. I haven't tried other opacity modes.

pathfinder - unexpected behaviour inside script
when I select two compound paths and subtract, I get a fully selected group.
If I create an action consisting of just the pathfinder operation and run it from the actions panel, the result is identical.
If I call this action from extendscript, the group sometimes is only partially selected. - and the following steps produce unexpected results :(
It turns out that adding an extra object.selected = true can help.

Illustrator Fails to request Disk access cannot access file system i.e. cant save the files!
I have a freshly set up m1 mac Illustrator 24.6.1 and I was stumped today when using Illustrator for the first time on it. When after working on a file I could not save it. Save, Save as, Save a Copy,"Save Before Your exit - save" all failed to do anything. I then tried opedning a file... I discovered that Illustrator had failed to get permission from Mac OS to work with files. So I was stuck with my work that needed to be saved!

slicing problem
I'm having a weird glitch with Illustrator. The program works fine until it suddenly the selection stops working. no matter which tool I select I get the same result- the cursor slices any shape that's selects. I can't pick anything or preform and other function, the cursor just slices the shape. If I close the program and restart it it fixes itself only to happen again a few minutes into the re-launch.
