1. 線幅を変えると矢印から線がはみ出る

   ver26.5（最新）。Windows10使用。

   線幅を変えるとパスの終点の矢印から線がはみ出る。

   例えば、線幅17に対し、終点を30％などにすると矢印から線の端がはみ出てしまう。

   矢印11、12、13、14が該当。
   ならないのもありしたが、全部調べていないので、他の矢印もそうなるかもしれません。

3. Slow performance / undesirable switch to CPU preview

   Operating system: macOS Catalina 10.15.7
   Illustrator: 26.5

   When turning on rulers or editing the artboard, Illustrator switches to CPU preview, which is very slow.

   After closing and reopening the file, the gpu preview is active. (If i don't save the file with rulers turned on)

4. Area Type Options: Align is mislabeled. Should say "vertical", not "horizontal"

   This UI option is mislabeled. It controls the vertical alignment of the text in a frame, not the horizontal alignment.

6. Repeat object has no indication of selection when bounding box is off

   Repeats is broken right from the start and you are not even planning to improve it... OK, not improve it, but just to make stable, as it was supposed to be.

   Here in the GIF, I have Bounding Box turned on, and it seems it works OK.

   Then I disable bounding box (which is normal for me and a lot of other users). Again — AI allows to turn if OFF, and everything works without it just FINE — except for Repeats and area type text (but this is another tale).

   Now, when I select both objects, the repeat object looks like it’s not selected at all, but it is — I move them and both get moved.

   Even funnier it becomes when I try to select only the Repeat object — I see controls, I can change them... but I can’t move the object. More of it — I can’t deselect it by clicking the canvas or another object! Only with the Deselect All command.

   WTF?!

7. Clipping mask for a layer doesn’t move when dragged in real-time render mode

   If you move art with its layer-level clipping mask, Ai will draw it as if you move the art without the clipping mask. See the GIF attached.

8. When a mesh object is set as a key for aligning, the edge of it doesn’t look bold

   When you click an object to mark it as a key object for aligning, Ai draws a fat bold edge around it. Works fine, but not for meshes. Need to be fixed.

9. Layer's options display 'Dim Images' turned on when it's off

   1. Go to Layer Options
   2. Enable 'Template' option
   3. Uncheck 'Dim Images to' option
   4. Hit OK
   5. Go to Layer Options again
   6. 'Dim Images' is on by itself, despite I turned it off in step 3

10. Illustrator keeps stealing focus when opening documents in background...

    When selecting a lot of files in windows and then opening them in AI, for every document that opens, AI takes the focus away from whatever I am doing in the background. This is very annoying. Please fix.

11. Unable to set Illustrator 2022 as default app

    When setting the default app for Illustrator files, 2022 version doesn't appear as an option. Files always open in 2021. When using Windows Default Apps setting, Illustrator 2022 doesn't appear as an option. This problem doesn't occur with other 2022 Adobe apps such as InDesign and Photoshop.

13. Annoying Flickering Cursor when Photoshop is open

14. Legacy text objects updated after two file saves are completely lost

    Bugs fixed in CC2018 are still not fixed.

    7. Click on a legacy text object with the Text tool.
    8. Click [Update] button in the warning dialog box.
    →Legacy text object is completely lost.

    This bug occurs in all versions since CC2018.

15. Isolate object doesn't work at all inside Envelope's 'Edit contents' mode

    When you edit contents of an envelope distortion, using the dedicated button in Control to do so, Isolation is not possible. I somewhat understand what technical difficulties are behind this, but... this feature is not new. You should have completed it way long ago. It’s sad to see when integration between native tools is poor and unpolished.
    I need to isolate whenever I need to, within envelopes, compound paths, type characters.

16. Auto Spell Check marks capitalization mistakes when type is set to ALL CAPS.

    With auto spell check enabled, capitalization is still marked if the type is set to "ALL CAPS" in the the character panel's options. when using all caps, the capitalization of the underlying text should not matter, only what is displayed which is all-caps.

17. Export PSD is aborted with error

    When exporting Illustrator documents to PSD via Export As…, documents that would succeed with JPEG or PNG stop with an error.

    The error dialog appears twice, and the messages are as follows
    1. Unable to export at this resolution. Please lower the resolution and try again.
    2. The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [RES!]

    
    

    The generated image is 4px in total and the resolution is not too high.

    Environment:

    • Illustrator 2022 (26.5.0)
    • macOS 11.6.8

    The same error occurred when I tried with Illustrator CS6.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. open the attached file 16383.ai
    2. Select [File > Export > Export As… > Photoshop (psd)]
    3. Specify a resolution to 288ppi

    Expected result:

    Successful export.

    Actual result:

    Aborted with an error.

    Workaround:

    • Move Ruler Origin closer to the artboard.
    • Move the artboard closer to Ruler Origin

    In 16383.ai, Ruler Origin is at the origin of the canvas (16383 x 16383) and the artboard is at the right edge of the canvas. In PSD export, the following values are expected to cause errors because they exceed the limits.

    Coordinates of the right edge of the artboard 16383 * (output resolution 288ppi / original resolution 72ppi) = 65532
    

    It would be correct to rely on the width and height of the artboard, rather than the coordinates of where it is placed.

    2. [File > Export > Export As… > Photoshop (psd)] を選ぶ
    3. 解像度288ppiを指定する

    期待する結果：

    書き出しに成功する。

    実際の結果：

    エラーで中止される。

    回避策：

    • ルーラーの原点をアートボードの近くに寄せる
    • アートボードをルーラーの原点の近くに寄せる

    16383.aiではルーラーの原点がカンバス（16383 × 16383）の原点，アートボードはカンバスの右端になるよう加工してある。PSD書き出しでは次の数値がリミットを超えるためにエラーが起こると予測される。

    アートボードの右端の座標16383 x (出力解像度288ppi / 原寸解像度72ppi) = 65532
    

    アートボードの置かれている位置の座標でなく，幅と高さに依存するのが正しいのではないでしょうか。

18. Menu interface is not displayed on Monterey 12.5.1 and Illustrator 26.5

    Hi,

    I have an issue with illustrator 26.5 :
    I can't open files and the menu interface is not displayed, nothing works.
    Same issue with InDesign 16.4.3 and all 17 versions.
    I got a MBP with M1 pro on the latest macOS (12.5.1), i tried the Apple Silicon and Intel versions with Rosetta, both doesn't work.

20. Font compatibility issues between different iOS and Illustrator versions

    My one system is on Mojave (10.14.6) running 25.4.8 illustrator. The other system is on Monterey (12.3.1) running 26.5 illustrator. And I have downloaded and installed Petrona font from Google fonts on both the systems.

    Now when I try to open the file (that was created on Mojave) on Monterey I'm prompted for missing fonts! This compatibility issue is making it very difficult for me to work across my devices.

    As it turned out, the font was installed as a static weights collection on one system, and as a variable one on the other. Illustrator didn’t provide enough clarification on this.

    However, please vote and comment if you have the same problem.
