CPU Preview defaults even for basic usage (Macbook Pro 2019)
CPU Preview is forced even with basic files with horrible performance. Can not choose GPU Preview after a few moment.

Illustrator 2021 and 2022 Zoom not working correctly after OS update to Monterey
Like the title says, after update to Monterey.... when using Illustrator 21 or 22 when zooming into an object, either vector, tiff, eps on the document the screen goes gray about 150% to 300%. I have reset many things, GPU.... reset preferences, colors, overprint off and on.... nothing seems to correct it. This happened Only after going from Big Sur to Monterey. Attached is a screen shot at 100% zoom, then the same art at 300%. The art is all vector, that really doesn't matter, vector and images act the same when zooming. Text Frame loses UID when moved along with compound path art in a different layer
OS: Windows 10 Pro
Illustrator 2022Steps to reproduce issue:
Create a text frame and a compound path art in different layers
Add UID to textframe using SDK
Select both textframe and path art together, then move them
Text frame loses UID, so we cannot get text frame using UID anymore
This happens even if we saved the file after adding uid, closed and re-opened it1 vote -

Most probably it happens because of the Align to Pixel Grid option switched on, as per comments. Try to disable it and see if it changes anything.

Screen bug, pixels
I create a new file and the screen starts to pixelize, If I move the mouse the pixels move too and they don't disappear

Select tool
Whenever I form a shape with the Rectangle Tool, the Select Tool won't provide the option to resize the selected shape.

IUStringUnitsToAIReal doesn't recognize comma as decimal separator

Align to Artboard
Please fix "Align To..." bug or new feature. I never use "Align to Selection" and many times it automatically switches to "Align to Selection" on its own. I always use "Align to Artboard" and I like that it automatically changes to "Align to Key Object" when I select a key object and goes back to my preferred Align to preference "Align to Artboard" when I do not select a key object. Because it is not stay on my preferred "Align to Artboard" and, on its own changes to "Align to Selection" it causes a problem, for example since my preferred…

Illustrator selecting Folder name and renaming file when saving into Folder
When saving an Illustrator file - and InDesign also - I click the name of the folder that file is to go into and the filename changes to that folder's name. Why is this happening? Why was this not found when debugging these very expensive applications before throwing them at subscribers and hoping they will work? Really not professional. We pay far too much money for stupid things like this to happen. Needs to be fixed immediately. InDesign also.

일러스트레이터에서 대지복사기능을 이용해서 연결동작을 그리고있는데 가로로 대지복사했을때는 가로로 한픽셀씩 흔들림이 생기고 세로로복사했을때는 세로로 한픽셀씩 흔들림이 생깁니다 저는 alt로 대지복사를 했고, 상담원님을 통해 alt로 복사하지말고 ctrl+c, ctrl+v를 이용해서 그려보는것을 제안받았고 ctrl+c,ctrl+v를 이용했을때 픽셀이 흔들리는 문제는 해결되었지만 alt로 복사시에는 여전히 픽셀의 흔들림이 있습니다.

"Corner" anchor points become smooth when joining active Curvature Tool line
Create a line that contains a corner (any tool).
Begin drawing a second line with the Curvature Tool.
As part of your new Curvature Tool line, click either end of the first line.This causes a conversion of corner points to smooth points.
I posted this issue on stack exchange (see link below) and was told this was a bug. It certainly wouldn't make sense as a feature, so that seems like a legitimate conclusion.

Stuck in outline mode, there is a pop-up window that comes up saying "can't finish previewing. Could not complete the requested operation."
Stuck in outline mode, there is a pop-up window that comes up saying "can't finish previewing. Could not complete the requested operation."
I try to do something in Illustrator and that pop-up comes up and I can't do anything to fix it. This is making it impossible to get work done as I'm just stuck in outline mode, if I hit command Y nothing happens but the pop-up.

N and M-spaces ruin tabstops
When m or n spaces are in a text, positioning with tab stops is off.

適当なパスオブジェクトでクリッピングマスク
回転ツールで回転（画像とクリッピングパス一緒に実行）・想定していた結果：ぼかしとクリッピングマスクのついた
画像ファイルが回転した状態で表示される・実際の結果：画像ファイルが表示されなくなる
なお、表示/CPUプレビュー時は想定していた通りに表示される・試したこと
OS・Illustratorが同バージョンのMac数台で同じ操作を実行
→同じ結果になります効果/パスの変形/変形/角度 で回転を実行
→同じ結果になりますうめこみ画像に対して同じ操作を実行

Can't save the ai file
Can' t save the ai file. Did anyone know how to solve the problem?

Adobe fonts don't get applied even after downloading it. it show preview but wont apply to the text.
Yesterday the font was working fine, today when i opened up the .AI file i saw all my project texts were pinked out with fonts changed. i do not know why it happened, i tried to reapply it, it will show the font preview but it wont apply same font to the text. i can only see the font effect on preview but not on artboard! where my text is selected.

Unexpected font change
I translate a physics book in Greek and now i translate the EPS figures content from English to Greek using Illustrator (the last updated version under Windows 10). The english text uses fonts Times Ten Std. I noticed that when i start typing the corresponding Greek text to substitute the english one, the currently selected font, changes to Myriad Pro and the appearance of the greek text is quite different. Is is possible to solve this issue?

Very Slow
I just updated my MacBook Pro (16 inch, 2019) to OS Monterey 12.2.1 and my Illustrator is CS 26.0.3. It is very difficult to use my files from last week. The cursor sits there spinning the beach ball, I'm seeing artifacts and artwork disappears, I can't even drag a simple pattern tile across my page. I use slightly complex artwork year in and year out as a product designer. But with the most current Mac update, something went wrong. I've rebooted, cleared my cookies, all the usual things. Please help!
