1. Cmd + Tab app switching forcibly keeps Illustrator in focus

   When Illustrator (at full-screen mode) is in focus, and when executing the quick-app-switching Mac shortcut (cmd+tab) to the previous app, Illustrator always remains in focus. Even though the OS thinks the new app has focus — it will, for instance, invisibly receive keyboard inputs — Illustrator's UI nevertheless retains complete hold over the display, save for the OS toolbar. Chrome, Finder, even something as simple as Calculator; none of them show up. I've had to downgrade to Illustrator v.25 just to get work done.

2. Illustrator CC 2022 not correctly fonts in SVG format

   Why is there an email icon next to Adobe Illustrator if the intent is to email the Illustrator team, not be redirected to a marketing landing page.

   I'm using an Adobe Font (Trajan Pro 3) for a logotype: I set the font to outlines, but if I attempt to make the characters one compound path, the letters appear broken. If I leave the characters as individual compound paths, and save as an SVG, the SVG file shows the letters in a garbled fashion.

   When does Adobe expect to resolve this issue in CC?

3. Opening a PDF file, previously saved in Ai

   After working on a file and trying to save it, it kept telling me it couldn't save. I finally gave up and then just saved it as a PDF. I was able to work from the PDF. So i saved the PDF. And now I can't open the PDF or the illustrator file. It gives me the dialog: Can't open the illustration. The file is locked or in use. ID: -54

   It's also not letting me upload the illustrator file here, only the PDF file.

5. Can't save a file without closing the program.

6. Can't Access a Saved File from a folder in Google Drive

   The Issue:
   I saved an illustrator file then closed the program. After some days, I reopened the program. I could see the preview thumbnail showing my latest edit but when I clicked on it to open, it went back to a much earlier version of the file. This has now happened twice. Please help if you have solved this successfully.

   Illustrator 26.2.1 (64-bit)
   OS: Windows 10
   RAM: 12GB
   Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6600U CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.81 GHz

   It turns out the folder is managed by Google Drive, and it restored a previous version for some reason.

7. Text missing on .ai file when I preview it or bring it into Indesign

   OS Catalina v. 10.15.7, Illustrator v. 25.4.1

   Text is in the document (.ai file), but when I preview it or place it into InDesign it disappears. When I save it to a pdf from Illustrator it looks fine in preview, acrobat and InDesign. As a temporary fix I can place the pdf into Indesign, but that's not ideal.

8. SVG export crashes

   Exporting to SVG causes Illustrator 26.2.1 (64-bit) on Window 10 (21H2 19044.1645) to crash. No export is created.

9. swatch panel missing

10. metadata is stripped when saved as PNG

    When exporting a PNG the metadata is not preserved. We use the metadata to find a graphic for future requests. I have Adobe Illustrator 2022. My operating system is Windows 10.

11. Please stop changing things around

    PLEASE STOP CHANGING THINGS AROUND.

    We often have very tight deadlines. Please stop changing settings and moving things around. It has a lot of impact on our ability to meet deadlines. When you moving things around we have to spend an extra unexpected 2/3 hours late at night try to figure out what has changed and how to do it the new way.

12. Open Illustrator 26.2.1 pallet drops in my desktop window .. when open, as photo shows 4-17-22

    See photo clipping ... intermittent, recurring. No other adobe open aps do this ... just Illustrator. Bug .. Yes. Annoyance. Yes. Mac OS 12.3.1 Monterey, 27" display desktop. From wake.

13. Clipping Mask gets rendered wrong

    MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)
    Just recently install the macOS Monterey
    Using the newest version of Illustrator 2022

    The clipping mask doesn't work after I zoom in or zoom out.
    It shows what is inside the clipping mask with different shapes randomly every time just like the images below. I have to move around the image to get the original shape of the clipping mask.

    It works quite well in Illustrator 2018 actually.
    But the Illustrator 2018 version seems can not be downloaded anymore.

    I think people should be allowed to download the older version which they found most stable and familiar. Otherwise, we can only work with errors while waiting for them to be fixed.

14. ファイルを開けない

    1　windows11　Illustrator v26.2.1
    2 ｐｃを立ち上げて１回目のイラレ起動
    3 起動直後に出てくるクラウドファイルの履歴画面から開く
    4 開かないのでメニューバーのファイルから開こうとするが開かない。フリーズしているわけではないので終了し、再度起動すると開ける　アップデート後から？最近毎回これです。

15. Can’t drag a point type text with Smart Guides if it has Baseline Shift

    If a piece of text has a Baseline Shift, then you can no longer select the text by the anchor point, and then the Smart Guides no longer work.

16. SVG export with Internal CSS and Layer names - not working suddenly in 26.2.1 - export does not contain layer names; omits some layers

    Export used to export layer names with these settings.
    Now it unexpectedly exports shortened group names.

18. Bleed not exporting as PNG or JPG

    I've just updated to Illustrator 26.2.1 and now I cannot export PNG or JPG files with bleeds.
    • I'm using File > Export > Export as... function.
    • There is a 9 pt bleed set up in the Document settings
    • "Use Artboards" option is selected on the Export dialog window.

    I'm on macOS 12.3.1.

19. カラーコード入力で色を変えると戻れない

    Illustrator 26.2.1
    windows10 21h1

    カラーモードRGBでカラーパネルもRGBでの作業で、カラーコード(#と6桁)を打ち込んで色を変え、前の色に戻したいなとctrl+z(取り消し)を押すと挙動がおかしいです。
    まったく戻らなかったり、カラーコードを打ち込む前の操作に戻ったりします。

    コミュニティに投稿し、再現されている方がいるのでバグだと思います。

20. グラデーションをかけたオブジェクトのSVGファイルのアセット書き出し

    グラデーションをかけたオブジェクトをアセット書き出しでsvgファイルに出力し、出力したsvgファイルを開くとグラデーションが消え黒いオブジェクトになる。
