1. Global Edit no longer works for additional groups inside other groups

   AI 30.5 Win 11

   If I have multiple instances of a group and want to change all at once, I can use Global Edit and then isolate the group to make my changes. But now once inside isolate mode, I can no longer use additional global edits to change multiple groups inside of the main group, as once inside global edit the only option in the select menu is to exit global edit.

   So for instance I have 5 of the same group A, and these are then grouped together to make Group B. I then have 5 instances of Group B and want to change them all. So I select one, activate Global Edit, and then enter isolation mode for Group B.
   Now I want to make the same change to all 5 instances of Group A (inside Group B), previously, while in isolation mode, I could just select one of Group A and then enter and additional global edit to change all of the Group A instances. But now the option is no longer there, and in the Select menu there is only the option to exit Global Edit. Please revert this to what it was before, we don't need a command to exit global edit it will do it automatically on exiting Isolation Mode.

3. Adobe Illustrator 2026 Crashes with Uncompressed TIFF (Compression: None)

   Dear Adobe Illustrator Engineering Team,

   I am reporting what appears to be a compatibility regression or TIFF parsing issue that causes Adobe Illustrator to crash consistently when opening documents containing specific TIFF images saved with Compression = None (Uncompressed TIFF).

   Adobe Illustrator 2026 on Windows
   Standard TIFF, no compression
   Interleaved (RGBRGB) pixel order
   IBM PC (Little Endian) byte order

   Illustrator crashes immediately when opening or placing TIFF files saved without compression.

   The same files become fully functional after being re-saved using LZW compression, without any changes to image content, dimensions, color mode, bit depth, or metadata.

   This behavior strongly suggests that the issue is related to Illustrator's handling of the uncompressed TIFF encoding path, rather than the image data itself.

   Reproduction Steps
   1. Create or export a TIFF image.
   2. Save using:
   Compression: None
   Standard TIFF format
   Place the TIFF into an Illustrator document, or open an existing Illustrator file containing the TIFF.
   Illustrator immediately crashes or closes without warning.

   Control Test
   1. Open the same TIFF file in Photoshop.
   2. Re-save the file using:
   Compression: LZW
   Reopen the Illustrator document.

   Result: Illustrator opens normally and the image is rendered correctly.

   Expected Behavior
   Adobe Illustrator should maintain compatibility with TIFF files saved using Compression: None, as this is part of the TIFF specification and has historically been a standard format used in:

   Print production
   Publishing workflows
   Archival imaging
   Legacy design projects
   Prepress environments
   Actual Behavior
   Immediate application crash.
   No meaningful error message is displayed.
   The issue is fully reproducible.
   Switching only the TIFF compression method from None to LZW resolves the problem.
   Business Impact

   This issue has a significant impact on long-term project compatibility.

   My organization maintains a large archive of historical design projects that contain numerous TIFF assets saved without compression. These files were created over many years and remain part of active production workflows.

   Because Illustrator cannot reliably open these files, we are forced to:

   Locate the original TIFF assets.
   Batch-convert legacy images.
   Rebuild or repair historical project files.

   This creates unnecessary production delays and introduces risk to archived projects that should remain fully compatible with current Adobe software.

   Technical Observation

   Based on testing, the crash appears specifically linked to TIFF files using:

   Compression = None (Uncompressed)

   while TIFF files using:

   LZW
   ZIP

   appear to function normally.

   This may indicate an issue in Illustrator's TIFF decoding routine, memory allocation process, or compatibility handling for uncompressed raster data.

   Request

   Could the Illustrator engineering team please:

   Investigate support for uncompressed TIFF files.
   Verify whether this behavior is a known issue or regression.
   Restore compatibility with TIFF images saved using Compression: None.
   Provide guidance regarding any temporary workaround beyond manual conversion of legacy assets.

   I would be happy to provide sample TIFF files and crash logs if needed to assist with debugging and reproduction.

5. agregar muestras en la ventana de texto

   que la ventana de texto incorpore el poder pintar una palabra seleccionada sin tener que ir al panel de muestras ya que al hacerlo se debe volver a seleccionar la palabra, asi seria mas rapido para la contrucion de logos o titulos poder desde la misma ventana de texto, pintar la palabra, cambiarle la tipografía, etc.

7. Saving as SVG changed in 30.5.1 and no longer respects artboard

   Beginning with version 30.5.1 (apparently), the full size of the artboard is no longer used when saving to SVG, but instead the bounds are reduced to fit the artwork. This is breaking my workflow with tools used downstream where I need the fixed sized artboard that I'm using. I reverted to version 30.4, and the problem went away.

11. SAVED AS .ai files going back to older directories for linked files. BUG with links

    This has happened several times over the last 6 months. I regularly will open an .ai doc I did a few months ago (generally saved onto an SSD external drive), save as to my desktop (mac mini m4) and do updates to linked images in the file. Later the new .ai is packaged when finished and all the linked files are in the LINK folder. However, after closing and opening the file the next day, or days later, the .ai file has gone back to the original folder location and picked up the old links (linked names are generally saved the same way; 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg). Sometimes it will pickup linked files from more than one OLD folder.

    Attached screenshot shows yesterdays SAVED AS .ai file and how it went back to last months links, ignoring the exact same files residing in the same folder as the .ai

12. 効果メニューのグレーアウト

    Mac OS 26.5.1のメニューバーの効果メニューがグレーアウトし選択できない。
    アピアランスパネルからはグレーアウトなく選択可能。
    最新の30.5.1でのバグだとおもわれます。
    前バージョン30.4にダウングレードしたところ解決。

13. 書き出し時の同名ファイルの警告が出ない

    png、jpgでの書き出しのとき、すでに同じファイル名がある場合に警告メッセージが出なくなり、そのまま上書きされてしまいます。
    上書きの警告メッセージの出し方、またはそれ自体が無くなったのであれば、改善していただきたいです。ver30.5.1です。
    ちなみに、ネットでいろいろ調べると「環境設定」に「書き出し」があるとか出てくるのですが、その書き出し自体の項目も無くなっています。

    It’s a Windows-only bug, not specific to the latest build.

    As soon as anything changes, someone from the team would leave a comment or update the status of the report.

15. Disappearing settings/options

    Single options disappear and I can’t change view or workspace back, it won't be fixed by restarting Illustrator.

18. Importing a PDF file saved from CAD shows a fault message

    When opening a flowchart in Illustrator, a PDF file saved from a CAD, I get a fault message saying 'There are fonts in the document that are not installed on the computer'.

    This is a new fault that came up last week, been using PDF files for a year and it have never been a problem until now.

    Is there something i can do about it?
    Due to confidentiality, I unfortunately cannot upload images on my work.

20. Remplacement de police sans avertissement

    Bonjour, aujourd'hui j'ai réouvert un fichier .ai et sans avertissement une des polices, pourtant déjà installée (et pas d'Adobe fonts) a été tout simplement remplacée par de la Myriad pro.
    Sans alerte, sans notification. Le seul indice à part l'apparence visuelle absolument différente, a été que j'ai documenté en écrivant en toutes lettres le nom de la police utilisée dans ma créa.
    Ca ne donne vraiment pas confiance.
    Windows 11 pro Version 25H2 - Illustrator version 30.3 (64bits)
