No DPI resolution in export file when export for screens
When export I use export for screen, there is no DPI resolution in the exported files.
Illustrator 21.1.0 - macOS
1. Create a new document
2. Create a simple element like a rectangle with 200 x 200 pixel
3. Set the document size to 200 x 200 pixel
4. Export it for screens
5. Generate 3 diffrent files with the scale factor of 29, 58 and 87 pixel
6. Save / Export the files
7. Open the file in preview or Photoshop

The "HDV 1080" preset needs fixing
The "HDV 1080" preset resolution is 1920x1080. Small point, but the resolution of HDV is 1440x1080, so the naming of it is kinda wrong. I think in Photoshop, AE & Premiere, it's referred to as the "HDTV 1080" preset, so I think it's probably a mistake/typo by someone at Adobe.
Also, the preset gives you an extra artboard which is 14400 x 14400 px for some reason (I imagine it's also a bug), so when you try to export your file, it always defaults to exporting this artboard unless you delete it. Again, small thing but clearly a mistake and…

Link location mistaken for other document's link location
When opening a specific document, links are found missing.
When I open the document nevertheless, click on a link and check the location, the path it shows is one that was used in a previously opened, unrelated document.
When my colleague opens the document on her computer, everything is fine.

Illustrator won't open more than one file at a time.
I have version 21.1.0 (64 bit) running on Windows 10 (more system details in attached png). I am not able to open more than one file at a time. What happens:
- I open a file.
- I double click to open another AI file (other file opening methods have same results).
- Nothing happens. One file remains open. I might see the spinner mouse for a sec but the second file never opens.
- If I try to close the first file, leaving Illustrator open, and open a new file, Illustrator becomes unresponsive and I have to close it via the Task Manager.

Hitting Enter/Return to confirm after modifying values (Stroke, Opacity, Etc) in the Top Toolbar Opens a Move Dialog Box Instead
When modify values such as opacity in the toolbar, i have always hit enter/return to confirm changes. As of recently however, this now opens a Move dialog box instead of submitting my changes. (See the attached gif for an example)
If there is something wrong about my workflow please let me know, but I don't currently see any other way of confirming these types of minor edits.
After several rounds of cancelling the move dialog, the changes will miraculously go through, but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why. As you can imagine, this is…

Fonts Slow EVERYTHING Down
Fonts are the slowest feature in programs from MS Office to Adobe. This problem just caused me to lose work because AI shut down while trying to figure out how to manage a standard font with which I was working. Thanks for nothing AI and your simpleton font generators. You're fired.

FILE Corruption - Illustrator will not open AI files. Adobe CC/Windows 10.
just trying to open AI files to work in ILLUSTRATOR. POS won't open. After reboot, won't open. How was the subscription model supposed to be better?

Eye Dropper tool color is off

Zoom artefact
Illustrator 21.1.0
When I use a very high zoom (25 500 %), paths appear distorded or even disappear.
It happens when GPU rendering is off as well as when it's on.

Undo Button Stops Working
When using the pen tool, if I move the object or try to undo an incorrect anchor placement I cannot undo what I've done by using keyboard commands or Edit > Undo

Editable Type isn't scaling correctly, even at 10% scale
I am creating a sign in 1-1 scale. When scaling down to fit on a proof page. the Type isn't scaling down correctly.
The image shows an outline text overlayed on top of the editable text, then selecting all and scaling down to 10%.
You can see how the live text is not the same as the outline text.

Can’t move or transform a selected image
When I am selecting an image, I get a bounding box but then I can't move or transform the image at all. It acts like it is locked, but it isn't locked.

Hidden Characters remain visible when exporting in PNG
Windows 11 Pro Version 25H2
I work with Hidden Characters on, and when I export a PNG (export for Screens), they remain visible. Hidden Characters aren't supposed to remain visible after a PNG export. The only way that I could resolve the issue is to turn them off. But when I try to disable hidden characters, it looks like they are already off (even though I can still see them), and I have to turn them on, then off again, to make sure they are completely disabled.

Freeform Gradient stops vanish, can’t be placed or edited
When trying to "edit gradient" in the Freeform Gradient tool I found that the handles disappear/glitch and don't allow me to place or change any of the values. I have tried in both positions (the top toolbar and right-side menus) but both times, even upon a restart and reset of performance, that the handles are not responding at all. I also cannot add stops in the tool window, I can only change the (new) "Method" dropdown box, which, in either setting, does not fix anything.
I am on the latest version of illustrator (30.5.1) on Desktop Mac.

Blend easing not working properly on overlapping shapes
Whenever I create a blend with overlapping shapes, the easing does not work. The slider is active, but moving it does nothing. Easing does work when I create a blend without overlapping. And while I can start the blend without overlap and then move the smaller shape over the larger shape, the easing warps the lines instead of adjusting spacing.

Selecting several objects at once in Layers is broken
As documented in other reports, this remains broken. It may work ONCE, based on no discernible pattern, but never again in dozens of tries.
This afflicts both platforms.

COMMAND F (PASTE IN PLACE) NOT WORKING!!!
paste in place is not working all of a sudden. Command F acts like command V. It just pastes randomly. Even selecting paste in place from the menu doesn't work. This is incredibly annoying and the enemy of precision. PLEASE RESTORE!!!!

Drop shadows in .ai files hide original object
When drop shadows are applied to placed images and the file is saved, only the drop shadow shows up both in the preview on MacOS, as well as when importing to InDesign or Photoshop. RGB or CMYK (in Illustrator) doesn't matter, the placed object is always missing.

100% size is shown too big when a document is opened the first time, in 30.5.1
New version – new bugs.
Open Ai 30.5.1.First opening of a document: 100% view (command-1) is displayed too big (like 150%).
Closing the document.
Opening documents now: 100% view is displayed correctly.
