  1. workspace is constantly falling

    Greeting!

    1 - after launching the illustrator all the panels are out of place
    2 - Illustrator does not get stuck at startup
    3 - the workspace is displayed incorrectly
    4 - Windows 10, 64-bit; 2 monitors; nvidia gfors nVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti

  2. Start Screen/Blank Screen Persists

    Every time I close an Adobe window, AI, PS, Acrobat, it leaves a "home screen" up. This is annoying in the extreme. I can uncheck show this screen in prefs, but then it just leaves a blank black slate up there. Equally annoying. When I close a document, I expect the app to not still be there in my way. Please fix this. We pay a bunch of money for access to these great tools of the trade, give us the ability to make them work like we prefer. Thank you. I am aware this is not technically a bug,…

  3. Zoomed in Home Screen? Why

    The home screen in my Adobe Illustrator is 'zoomed-in' and it's not the same size as other Adobe apps. I've attached a screen shot of Illustrator vs photoshop.

  4. New update (23.0.1) shows Home screen instead of my actual file until I press F

    Most of the times, when I open an AI file I can't see my actual artboard until I press F (Toggle Screen Mode). Once I switch the screen mode it shows a weird red color in the artboard (too fast to capture).

    Hi,

    Sorry to hear that you are facing this issue. We have fixed similar issue in 23.0.3,
    Can you please upgrade to 23.0.3 and let us know if your problem is resolved or not?

  5. Can't randomly rotate an object anymore

    Working in Illustrator 23.01, I'm no longer to hover over the corner of an object and have the curved arrow show up so I can randomly rotate. What's up? I need this feature.

  6. Gradients Swatch Box Snaps Back

    When expanding the box to see your gradient fill it immediately snaps back to the letterbox default. I cannot gauge the color gradients very well without enlarging the viewable gradient area.
    Its a bug that needs fixing.

  9. Glyph selection panel shows low resolution / blurry in Illustrator 23.0 on scaled UI

    Once you scale the UI or when the application auto scales Glyph panel based on resolution. the elements in the panel look blurry

    We have added this issue to our backlog. Meanwhile Please use the UI scaling preferences to scale down UI to low value and resolve the issue.

  10. Tool tips are popping up without permission.

    In my preferences, I have "Show Tool Tips" un-checked. However I am getting interrupted with tool tips when doing stuff. Stop being so pesky!

  11. tools and effects windows never open

    Hi,

    I am having a problem with illustrator since a few days now and I just don't find solution for it.
    Every time I open Illustrator it forgets that the control area, the tools area and the other effects and tools area such as, transparency, layers, colors etc was opened. It is really annoying to open them every time.
    Could someone give a solution. And, I am using the latest version of Illustrator for 2 months now I think, and it started to do this only a few days ago.

  12. Transform Panel: Tabbing issue causes Y value to be ignored.

    Using the Transform Panel to input X value then tabbing to the Y value doesn't accept the new Y value.

  13. user interface PPI mixed, wrong, "new" dialog unusable

    see attached picture
    this used to happen more intermittently but recently it's happening every time. creating new items is completely broken.
    different panels appear at 100% scale, while others appear at 200% scale it seems.

    affects the actual menus and the common open/save file dialog sometimes

    when I restart illustrator, restart the machine, or dock/undock monitors it changes in seemingly unpredictable ways

  14. BUG: New Window 'aligns' to first window

    Illustrator CC 2018

    When I open a 'New Window' and arrange them tiled or float both windows so that they are both viewable at the same time and then position different views of the document in these two windows, when I start editing text in Window 1 the viewable content in Window 2 'aligns' with the view of Window 1 - why?

    For example, I set Window 1 to view the top of the document and set Window 2 to view the bottom of the document and then when I edit text in Window 1 (top) the view in Window…

  15. Asset Export panel list view trims filenames to approx 24 characters

    Asset Export list view should show full file name or clip to panel width. As it stands, my file names are being trimmed even though there is plenty of room to show the full name.

  16. My Illustrator CC window will not minimise into the dock?

    Hi,

    Not sure where to go with this one but I have just upgraded to Adobe CC and noticed that I'm unable to 'Minimise' the window in Illustrator and also noticed that it won't do it in InDesign but Photoshop does minimise (ODD!)

    All it will do is when you double click it fills to fit screen and then the opposite.

    I have posted this onto the forum and others have mentioned that they are also experiencing this problem.

    (I have turned on the 'Double -click a windows title bar to minimize' in the System Preferences)

  17. Properties Panel allows to edit Transform values when there is no selection

    The panels still show you properties even if nothing is selected. So you can tweak them all you want, just to notice you’re actually not modifying anything.

    If nothing is selected they should be disabled

  18. Getting error while opening illustrator. Workspace missing.

    Get an error while starting the illustrator. Workspace is missing as well. Even if I reset the workspace nothing happens. Nothing happens when I select an already saved workspace. Please figure this out ASAP cannot complete my work.

  19. Illustrator menus won't scale down on external monitor for Lenovo Yoga

    I am running Illustrator 2018 on my new Lenovo Yoga laptop. I am using external monitors and when using Illustrator on those external monitors, the menu's are bloated as if they were still retaining the "touch enabled" versions rather than the standard desktop versions. This is very annoying and I would greatly appreciate a fix. Thank you.

  20. tools panels disappeared.

    I've just updated the software and got a dialogue box that some preferences were missing, then the interface changed to the dark one (I opt for the lightest one) and then all my tools seem to have disappeared and I can't get them back. I've quit, reopened, and repeated after restarting but same problem so far exists.
