1. Direct selection tool doesn't work 90% of the time

   90% of the time when I use the direct selection tool (and I'm sure I am using the rght tool because the curser turns white as it should when this tool is selected) I can't manipulate anchors and instead am dragging the entire shape.

2. Clipped images gets displayed on adjacent pages in exported PDFs in readers such as Microsoft Edge browsers

   When I place multiple images in a clipping mask, whether it is exported as PDF or saved as PDF, or even if I use Acrobat to optimize the PDF, some PDF readers such as Microsoft Edge will show the image at the bottom of the clipping mask. It becomes a color block displayed on the PDF, but these extra color blocks will disappear after enlarging the PDF interface.

3. Baisse de performance au bout d'un certain temps

   MacBook Pro M1 Pro 16 Go - Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1
   Illustrator 28.5

   Illustrator fonctionne parfaitement jusqu'à un moment où les raccourcis claviers ne fonctionne plus, le traitement de texte met du temps à afficher le texte que je rédige et la moindre action fait apparaître la roue de chargement sur la souris.

   La solution (que j'espère temporaire) que j'ai trouvé est de fermer et de réouvrir l'application

4. dxcore.dll not found

   Illustrator won't open due to "dxcore.dll not found".
   I have been on forums and many people have posted about this.
   Seems to be an issue with the latest update as the posts are quite recent.
   Temporarily fixed by reinstall of Illustrator. As yet, have found no permanent solution.

5. Zoom moves the path if selected

   If I select a path and then zoom in or zoom out the path moves, as if it were attracted by a snap, Illustrator version 28.5

6. "Introducing keyboard s..." notification will not go away

   I keep getting a notification that's cutoff and won't go away. there's no close button and I cannot move the window. I get half of the message about "introducing keyboard s... While in text mode, press 'C...... B/U/I'....." How can I get rid of this notification?

7. Command Z not working for some functions

   Using the keyboard shortcut for Undo does not work for some functions. Reordering layers does not respond to the keyboard shortcut but works via the Edit menu selecting Undo. Same issue with "Show All". Command Z doesn't work but selecting Undo from the Edit menu works.

8. Making a regular triangle with Star tool duplicates the path

   Scissor tool cuts lines and duplicates them (completely broken)

   Make a triangle by selecting the star and changing it to 3 lines (triangle), now cut one of the lines with the scissor. It duplicates the shape! This bug is seen across multiple shapes and lines. The scissor tool is broken along with selecting individual points often creates duplicate lines.

   The quality of adobe products has just gone downhill in the last 5 years.

9. Placing an SVG file with View->Snap to Pixel enabled distorts the image

   If I place an SVG file with View->Snap to Pixel enabled, some of the coordinates are displaced. See uploaded example, produced using version 28.3 (64-bit) on Windows 11. Unfortunately, the uservoice website won't let me upload a sample file.

10. Translate Mistake

    In the "Your files" in homepage and language setting as Traditional Chinese , there is a existing mistake about translation. In English, the word "Replicate" should be translated as "複製" in Traditional Chinese, rather than "复制" it's in Simplified Chinese. Hope your company can translate corresponding to the local language.

11. Take long time when create new file / open file / save file on local

    I'm using macbook m2, I just downloaded Ps and Ai from Adobe Creative Cloud. Ps is normal but Ai always loading (about 3mins) when I create new file, open file and save file. Please help me fix it.

12. "Load paragraph styles" or "Load all styles" doesn't overwrite styles with same name

    I have a set of 9 template files that I need to update. Each file contains an identical set of about a dozen paragraph styles. I want to update all the paragraph styles in all of the files.
    I updated the styles in the first file (correctstyles.ai) and changed kerning from Auto to Optical. When I open the next file, (e.g. SHED-2023-5-simple-columns-narrow.ai), I use "Load Para Styles" and choose the first file (correctstyles.ai). When I check the style definitions, kerning is still set to Auto. The kerning value should have changed to Optical to match the style from the first file. That does not happen.
    I've also tried using "Load All Styles" and the result is the same. The styles that are loaded are not replacing the existing styles (all have the same names).

13. New document screen doesn't close upon creating new document, locking me out of program

    The following issue has popped up a couple times now: I'll be working in Illustrator (Windows 10) and want to create another new document. I'll navigate to File>New and be faced with the New Document popup. I'll select my desired parameters and hit "create," and the document will be created behind the popup -- but the popup won't close, and I can no longer click the main Illustrator window to work behind it. I've had to use Ctrl-Alt-Del every time this happens; there's no opportunity to save work. (This has only ever happened when I've had Illustrator already open, never upon starting the program.)

14. Flickering when zooming with animation after update to Illustrator 2024 28.3

    I was trying to fix the insane lag in the previous version, even though I had all the drivers updated(I have MSI RTX 3080 and Ryzen Threadripper 3960X with 64 GB of RAM so it's not a performance issue).

    After updating the lag got worse and when I zoomed in with the GPU enhancing features which is zoom with animation. The canvas was flickering when using the zoom shortcut CTRL+SPACEBAR. I then opened a fresh document and noticed this problem wouldn't occur. So the issue is the fact I had the view grid on on my other document.
    Also when I try to reset preferences while opening Illustrator it won't let me, creating a bug and a freeze

15. Pop-ups won't close in magnified view setting.

    When I open the text tool, this dialogue box (bottom right corner) opens. I think it's supposed to be one of those helpful guides that shows up after an update, but for me, it shows up, doesn't go away, is fixed to the bottom right corner of my screen, and obstructs my view. I have absolutely no way to close it; I've tried. The [x] button, I believe, floats off the corner of the screen. I can't drag it; it's fixed. It's just stuck there and stays there, all huge and in the way.

    I've had this issue with other dialogue pop-ups before. I don't remember which ones; I'm just getting irritated. If I had to take a guess, I would reckon it has something to do with my scaled UI preference.

    The only thing that has worked for me is closing the file and pulling it back up, but it's driving me absolutely insane. I'm running Illustrator 2024, Version 28.3 on a Windows 11 OS.

    Please help. I'm going crazy.

16. Undo stack becomes desynchronized when making a clipping mask using a group that contains another clipping mask

    I often want to clip a group that already contains another clipping mask, and sometimes I accidentally use the wrong top object when making the mask. In this case, Undo does not return the scene to its previous state. Instead, various strange things happen.

    To replicate:
    - Create a group (A) that contains a clipping mask (B) and at least one other object
    - Create an object (C) to be clipped
    - Bring A over top of C, select both and make clipping mask
    - Undo

    The scene should return to its original state, but instead the inner mask (B) is modified. Sometimes this presents as objects inside the mask losing their fill & stroke, and sometimes it presents as the inner mask(s) simply being released. (Seems to depend on just how complex the group is)

    It doesn't come up often, but when it does it's impossible to get the document back to its original state using undo, and can result in some lost work.

18. Illustrator 2024 keeps crashing, no crash report, no recovery files

    I've been using Illustrator on my desktop since 2019, I haven't changed anything on my setup in terms of hardware or software. Illustrator was working perfectly fine up until lately (within the last 2 months). I've worked on large files and multiple files with heavy memory loads perfectly fine. But now, I can barely have two Illustrator documents open without it crashing. A crash report doesn't pop up and it doesn't save my recovery files even though I have that function enabled. I have one document open right now, it only has two photos and a shape with a gradient, photos are just 1080p resolution. I tried to select the color for a stroke on a shape... Illustrator went non-responding and crashes without warning or explanation or crash report.

19. Eyedropper DOES NOT CONSIDER COLOR EXCLUSION for TEXTS MULTICOLOR

    Eyedropper tool between two text boxes with mixed color letters. How to copy ONLY text attributes leaving the colors unchanged.
    Even by deselecting fill color and stroke color in the eyedropper detection and eyedropper application boxes, the color of the destination text becomes unique depending on which is pressed as the source and the letters do not remain colored differently.
