Can't input search or rename Japanese in the Creative Cloud Library panel

18 votesI am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.0.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Ok/Cancel positions reversed on Mac/Windows versions
Is there a reason why the ok and cancel buttons are flipped when you switch from Mac to PC? I use both platforms every day and it's really disorienting. Can this be made consistent across both platforms, or is this an Apple/Microsoft issue?

Color Bug
When I move objects, the colors bug out. As you can see in the picture ''Bug'' , I am only using different shades of purple and the light orange that is in the background, as shown in ''Bug 2'' . All of the darker orange is not supposed to be there and they only appear when I move objects around. This continues unless I move the screen off the artwork and then go back, then it dissapears but comes back as soon as I move an object. So far I'm unable to find a solution for this, so I would…

Ai 2022 Menus unresponsive on startup M1 Mac
Top menus are inactive after launch. Have to click on the finder and then back to illustrator to refresh.

SLOW PERFORMANCE - MACBOOK M1
I have a brand new MacBook M1 running Big Sur. 11.2.3
The performance with vector objects is terrible!
Even with turning off layers, moving basic objects (2x text boxes, 2x lines and a 2x rectangles) its almost crashing Illustrator.I try to arrow and there's a 6 second delay.
I try to undo, there's a 10 second delay.This is terrible. Seriously what have you guys done to the Adobe suite?

Align to Artboard when starting up
When you first start Illustrator up in the newest version 25.4.1 the Align to Artboard mode will switch to Align to Selection if multiple objects are selected. If you select Align to Selection and then Align to Artboard the issue will not happen and only happens when the program is first launched. Once you have gone to selection and then back to artboard the issue will not happen again.

AI man kann keine genauen Maße angeben. Zahl wird verfälscht
Ich möchte einen Bug melden. Wenn man bei AI ein z.b. Rechteck anlegt und genaue Maße händisch eingibt z.b. 15cm springt das Programm automatisch auf 14,888888cm. Man muss es wieder und wieder eingeben bis es irgendwann nicht mehr springt und bei 15cm bleibt. Das ist sehr störend und sollte behoben werden.
Auch sollte die zahl markierbar sein mit der Maus. Das ist sie zurzeit auch nicht.

AI 26 667 Mac: SVG export with placed images badly broken (Illustrator 26.0 GM Candidate Build 2)

Exporting an Illustrator file with placed images results in an SVG with the images at the wrong Z-index, as well as several copies of the same image.
Steps to reproduce (see test files):
- open test.ai
- save as SVG (see parameters capture)
- open SVG in Safari — red box is behind PNG image when it should be in front
- open SVG in TextEdit — there are three copies of PNG image when there should be one

Illustrator WILL NOT LAUNCH on Apple Silicon
I've been having this issue for a few weeks. Trying to launch Illustrator 26.0.1 on Apple Silicon (I have tried both the Apple Silicon version and the Intel version). I don't get the splash screen. The menu at the top of the screen loads, and says "Illustrator," but all menu options are grayed out. I can't open a file by right-clicking in Finder and saying "Open with Illustrator". Illustrator freezes/crashes at this point and the only solution is to force quit via the Task Manager. Please help!

scale or alt-move masked object: Mask scales as well or copies in the right place, just like normal objects
When I scale or copy a complex object in which also masked sub-objects are present, the mask stays in its original position and size, even when it is linked.
Sometimes I have to copy something 20 times and redo all the masking for that sub-object.
Why does the Mask not behave lik all the normal objects that I copy and paste?

File not located.
Hello, i was doing work for my school and just as i had finished i saved the 2 pieces of work (2 seperate drawings) and about a couple hours later my free trial expires, so i cant access any of the files or anything. BUT thats not really the problem. I buy it for $30 just so i can get the files back and it keeps saying, file not located, or this file does not exist in this places anymore. so basically i lost my work i dont know how to get it back.

Portrait Mode
Older versions of Illustrator support Portrait Mode - it seems like CC does not. This is very useful if your main computer is a Microsoft Surface docked in portrait mode or have a secondary monitor in portrait mode, or if using a Surface will on the go you prefer to work in portrait mode. An unknown error occurred when saving AI file
Since updating to 24.2 on our Macs people are intermittently getting "An unknown error occurred" when trying to save an AI file. We have found in those cases outlining all the fonts will let us save. We are using the latest version of Universal Type Client for our font management.

Can't delete artboards
Can't delete artboards in latest beta with latest macOS beta when using the backspace key and the artboard selection tool.

changing view size objects no longer show, or if I change an object it doesn't change until I change the view size
I'll draw a box and select it, then click off but it still looks selected until I change the view size, or it will just dissappear from view all together.. Also I can't get any key commands to work, like select all or duplicate. I can't select points by dragging the direct select tool, and it won't join points. The whole program is buggy and nothing works. I have big sur 11.5.2 and a trial of Illustrator 26.01

Zero height or width prevents using shape panel to adjust
If you set a rectangle's height or width to zero in the Shape panel, you cannot change it back again to a non-zero value. The object remains a rectangle, so you can use the UI and a mouse to grab and expand the shape, after which the Shape panel works as expected. (I did not test what happens if you set both dimensions to zero, but this is an edge case in any event, since I discovered it only accidentally because some values in my data set are zero.)
