Refreshing screen problem
With nested shapes, it happens screen refreshing problems in Illustrator 2022. It doesn´t happen in Illustrator 2021

copy and paste random color change
1.macbook pro 2021, big sur 11.4
2. version 25.3.1within the same file, when I copy and paste an element, the fill is changing. the same issue does not occur when option dragging the drawing. it happens repeatedly. The fill that is changing is a colored pattern fill. It has happened with all "original" colorations (ie it does not only happen when using the light blue fill like in the movie. but they all change to the same yellow fill like in the movie.)

object remaining after command z causing memory error message
I attempted to duplicate an artboard full of clipping masks and objects but afterwards, clicked command z. All quickly as unintended results. It left behind one box with transparency effect. every attempt to move this left behind object, caused the error "Can't move the objects. There isn't enough memory ID: -108"
Removing the objects seems to removed the problem.1 vote -
Doesn't open cloud files
Illustrator just couldn't open a file saved in the cloud.
This issue only occurring when a file was double-clicked. When I single click on the file, it opens normally after installation.

Action batch saving with data sets does not put out multiple files
I updated to version 25.4 and had a file with multiple data sets. I have an action that saves as a PDF and I wanted to "batch" this action as I have done multiple times in the past to create multiple PDFs.
However, now only one file gets saved and it gets overwritten constantly when the action repeats. The saved file name is whatever the file was saved as when recording the action, so it is not even the data set name.I have now reverted to the oldest version I could find which was 24.3 and it is working…

Illustrator running really slow, no GPU preview
Hi Illustrator 25.3.1 is running horribly slow on my MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018) / 2.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 / 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 / Radeon Pro 555X 4 GB - it is constantly running CPU Preview, I cannot get it to use GPU. Zoom in and out is awful to use. Illustrator is impeding my productivity. Please help.

Multi-Selection Lag on M1 MacBook Pro
When selecting multiple objects or points, Illustrator will lag consistently throughout the process and the objects will "stick" to your cursor. So the previously selected objects end up being moved while trying to select more objects.

The new simplify tool can't handle many lines
The new simplify tool makes Illustrator freeze when I try simplify contour lines in Illustrator that I used to do without any problem with the old tool. I've been waiting for 10 minutes now without any response from the app.
I'm using the latest Illustrator version (2021) and the tool is not working. Since the tool doesn't give you a dialogue box to press cancel or anything, it seems that I have to force quit Illustrator. This happens to all my files since they are pretty complex. No problem with old tool.

Tilde key to move a pattern within shape not working
My Tilde/Graves accent key is no longer working to transform a pattern within an object. Normally, I can rotate or move around a pattern when I hold it down without moving the object. It hasn't worked since my last update.

The bug is ILLUSTRATOR 2021 itself.
- tried to save as bitmap to discover that finally the "save for web "option is gone - OK, but the "Export as" can't resize the picture and doesn't perform the action because "it's too big". So? How can I save the image? I open it with Photoshop but no, Photoshop "can't detect EPS data". Photoshop. You invented EPS. And you can't read an Illustrator-created EPS.
I work with Illustrator since 1.0. I feel like timewarped back into pre-history. Please rename the bug (=Illustrator 2021) with a proper name: Illustrator 2021 BC.2 votes -
Illustrator chokes when interacting with the UI
Since I updated to 26.0.2, Illustrator is choking when I interact with any part of the UI, like opening and navigating through menus, moving windows, selecting different tools, etc. For the most part, the issue is not that bad when designing, but when I use the UI is almost unusable. This never happened with any older version.
The video I´m uploading as a reference doesn´t have any drop-frames.My system:
Windows 10 (10.0.19043 Build 19043)
CPU: Intel I9 9900K
GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080
RAM: 64 GB DDR4

Color Guide not working
I'm working on a project and when i try to use the color guide to copy a color it doesn't let me put the color in.

Resizing from centre - Pen tablet sticking
Windows 10 64bit,
Just updated to 26.0.1 and when you resize from the centre of an object (holding alt) with a pen tablet, the object sticks to the cursor for a tiny bit. I.e it used to leave the shape resized when you lift the pen off the tablet. Now it attaches and keeps resizing as you move the pen away. It's made resizing things accurately impossible.
It doesn't do it with regular resizing from one corner, so it's something bound to the "alt".
Updated the Wacom drivers and no difference.

Artboard modification gets applied to the wrong artboard
When trying to modify a selected artboard, Illustrator is applying it to another artboard (previously selected) instead.
It did it for naming the artboard but also scaling it to the illustration.

Display errors on tool 'preview video' and 'selection tool'
Please refer to the two images attached. Hovering a tool or a part of an image is enough to show the visual defect.

Wacom Eraser not working on Illustrator
I'm using MacOS Monterey 12.1, and Illustrator 2022 (26.0.2), both recently updated, and for some reason the eraser tip of my Cintiq 13 HD stopped acting like an eraser and it does the same as the pen tip. I tried resetting the settings for both Illustrator and the tablet, but the problem persists.
For some reason this is not happening on Photoshop, the eraser works as usual.
Does anyone know how to fix this?1 vote
