1. Non HTTPS default link in SVG export

   When Exporting SVG's from illustrator the SVG code output still links to the old http:// version of the w3.org website

2. Pasting inbetween layers broken

   Pasting between layers broken. You've made my job impossible. I have no idea why I'm paying for my business to have this **** when Affinity exists. Every time you updated an app you break it. PLEASE fix this!

   Also, the requirements to 'log in' are dumb and exactly why Adobe seems to think it has to create problems so it can 'look good' by fixing things. STOP MESSING ABOUT.

   WIN11-26.3.1-Trying to paste images between layers-pasted image but instead it does nothing-Not point in showing an empty layer.

3. Clicking Reset button in Recolor Artwork panel, sets 'Reset' as default button

   When using Recolor Artwork to adjust an artwork's colors, I click 'Reset' to return to previous colors. Then I adjust the colors again, and when I'm satisfied with the result, I hit Enter. This should apply the settings to the artwork. But it resets all of the settings, because 'Reset' is highlighted and hitting Enter activates it, instead of the 'OK' button, which is expected to work.

   I have reset preferences, changed the command, reset my computer, reinstalled programs, tried the bounding box & expand appearance solutions, and scowling.

   So now, I have to scroll past "fonts" everytime I want to outline a stroke in the menu which spazzes the whole system out while it tries to pull up fonts. Real annoying, really throwing off my groove.

6. Selecting text works poorly

   According to the screenshot, when I press the left mouse button in the place represented by the red triangle, the above text is selected. This place is completely beyond the scope of the word "Nature".

8. Small objects rotating instead of scaling when grabbing corners of bounding box

   New laptop has forced me over to Win11 & the latest suite. Illustrator 26.3.1

   When trying to grab small objects by their corners to scale, it rotates.

   Expected result - Being able to scale!
   Actual Result - Rotating, immediately putting the object at 45 degrees.

   An old thread from 2018 ("Rotate vs scale") claims this may have something to do with scaling on high res monitors but was marked solved without being solved. This new laptop has a 4k screen.

   If you hover the cursor juuuust inside the corner it works, but anything outside and it's forcing rotation.

   If I zoom in, I can then grab the corners to scale.

9. Text from Old Version Of Illustrator Not Visible in 2022 version

   I am currently running AI 2022 on a Windows 10 machine. I had a file that I created on AI 2019 that I wanted to open and edit. When I open the file, none of the text appears and I cannot click or edit it. This also occurs when I try to open PDFs of the 2019 AI files in AI 2022. I even tried editing the PDFs in Acrobat, but that just crashed acrobat.

13. Actions forget locations of files

    I have an action to add a proof header at the top of a page. The header is an Illustrator file that is in a fixed location. However, about once a week or so, the Action forgets the location of the file. I have to fix the action, then quit and restart Illustrator to restore it.
    Mac OS 11.6.7. Illustrator 2021 (Still on 2021 for compatibility with customers' art departments)
    Circumstances: action that opens, copies, closes, then pastes art on working document.
    When it works, it places the header on the page I'm working on.
    When it doesn't work, it can't find the header file and just leaves an open dialog box.
    This happens occasionally with other, similar, actions too.

14. Scripting Issue on MacOS Monterey

    We had this script for Illustrator that will export PDF and images with predefined presets. This was working until some of our team upgraded their macOS to Monterey.

    When they tried to run the script it will create a PDF and images with different file names, we are expecting that it will have the same file name from the AI file.

    EXPECTED RESULT:

15. Clipping Mask broken in SVG export if name contains hyphen

    An Illustrator document that contains a clipping mask will not export correctly if the path used for clipping has a - in the name.

    In the resulting SVG code, the path definition looks like this:

    <rect id="clipping-path" ... >

    but the reference to it looks like this:

    <use xlink:href="#clipping_x002D_path" ... >

    You can see that the - was converted to "x002D" for the "use" tag, but not for the "rect" tag.

16. Properties panel interface spacing bug

    The Properties panel is displayed with extra spaces between all the fields,
    it's to the point where you have to scroll down to view the quick actions.

    I tried resetting preferences and reinstalling yet it's still showing in the same way.

    I'm trying zooming in and out on the panel with Ctrl + mouse wheel but it doesn't seem to work.

18. Previous illustrator version open with wrong size

    This is a BUG, not an idea…

    Details of your operating system: MacOS Catalina

    The version of Adobe Illustrator (desktop): 26.3.1

    The steps you were taking when you experienced the issues:
    I created a file with 100% size to send to a printer. I have the most recent version but they have a previous version. When they open the file, object size is 10x smaller. What can be causing these and how can it be solved?

19. Holding Ctrl does not enable Constrain Proportions for artboards

    If I have the Constrain Width and Height Proportions lock button depressed/disabled in the Control panel or for the Artboard tool, committing a change with Ctrl+Enter does not apply the change constrained, as it should do.

    Hitting Ctrl+Enter in Properties panel does not do anything at all. Properties is so broken.

20. Illustrator 26.3.1 Mac - Rulers Not Working Properly

    Rulers won't be set to Artboard Rulers. Option for Global Rulers is greyed out. Sometimes a glitch appears in the upper right corner of the ruler. See images for examples.
