Advanced Options Missing in Recolor Artwork Panel with UI Scaling
Bug Description:
When the UI is scaled up , the advanced options in the "Recolor Artwork" panel become inaccessible. This happens because the panel becomes too large, causing the advanced options at the bottom to be cut off. Additionally, the absence of a scroll bar prevents users from navigating to the hidden section.Steps to Reproduce:
Open Adobe software (e.g., Illustrator).
Access the "Recolor Artwork" feature.
Use the software on a high UI scaling factor.
Notice that the advanced options at the bottom of the panel are not displayed and cannot be accessed due to the missing scroll bar.
Expected Result:
The panel should either automatically adjust its size to fit the screen or provide a scroll bar, allowing users to access all options.Bug Description:

Preview Only Text rendered as moved compared to the original
The new Preview Only Text feature is bugged. Attached is a screen shot of a comparison of the original document and Illustrators Preview Only text. The copy actually moves quite a bit from it's original position. The text is area type and within a box if that is a clue. This should be a huge concern for anyone trusting the preview only text.

Strokes with a profile and have the rounded corners selected end up having pointy corners
The corners of my strokes should have a rounded corner but the moment I adjust the profile with the width tool they turn all pointy

29.5 hanging on startup
29.5 is hanging on startup for me, won't get past loading in plug ins, then it just sits there... system is OS 15.4, Mac Studio M1 Max 64/512. SwatchLibs.aip seems to be the issue, won't load anything past that. Wacom Tablet is installed, latest driver in place as well.

Search for a file name in the Save As dialog on Mac doesn’t work
When saving a file, searching for a filename, to add a V2 or FINAL as the end of the file name, does not work.
I am using illustrator 2025 on Mac OS 15.4.1
I have made sure that illustrator has full disk permission. See attached screenshots.

Saving as PDF loses all artwork outside of artboard - THIS HAS TO BE FIXED
For 15 years I have never had an issue saving files as PDFs. I have always used the save as Smallest File Size PDF option, I do a lot of large format printing so this is necessary in order to rip files in a timely manner to the printer. Now when I save a pdf all my artwork that's outside the artboard disappears, hours upon hours of artwork just gone, no warning. Its bad enough there is no longer a way to purchase the software so having to pay monthly and the constant terrible updates are ruining me and my business. Please fix this back to way it used to be. My artwork outside the artboard should not disappear.

Fonts used previously won’t load and miss in the document
Many of the fonts aren't opening properly on the working files from the previous version of IIllustrator. It appears as I have no these fonts, but I sure had yesterday in 2024 version, so it's there :d

File with links to the same filename, when folder is moved, tries to open itself
Suppose a file X have links to file Y with the same name but in other folder. If you move the original file so Illustrator can't find Y, it then tries to open the filename in its own folder and find the file itself (X). Multiple links cause the message "the file is already opened"

Shortcut for Split Into Grid
I previously had a custom shortcut assigned to the “Split Into Grid” command, and it was incredibly useful. However, it seems that this shortcut no longer works and the command has been removed from the Illustrator keyboard shortcuts menu, preventing me from reassigning it.
I truly hope this feature can be reinstated, as it significantly streamlines the workflow and enhances productivity.

Enough with the memory sucking "upgrades" already!
Hey Adobe, you've already forced us all to pay more for your subscription based software model now, so maybe instead of focusing so ******* building memory sucking AI generative tools for people who aren't artists, you should provide a version for the folks who don't need all this new ****. Stop messing with perfectly good and functional software that real artists want to use! I can't even tell you how many times the recent releases have crashed and I lost all my work, it's incredibly frustrating! I have a new macbook pro that can handle the demand, so the problems are clearly on your end. I miss the days of buying physical software. Give me Adobe Illustrator CS6 and stop forcing me to use your BS "upgrades" for more money, so sick of it!

Mesh Envelope Distortion renders as shifted on Large Canvas
Taka look at the files attached.
Envelopes on large canvas render their distorted content shifted, compared to normal canvas.
It’s a bug similar to brushes: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/41713246

Text Overflow / Overset (+) Indicators are not shown
A strange thing is happening with a few of my files. Some text boxes have stopped showing the indicator when clicking off of the text box which has text overflow. This recently cause me to mistakenly print a file that had text overflowing with no indication. Why is this happening?

Saving a new Image Trace preset does not remember the "Auto Grouping" checkbox’s state
When doing Image Trace, I don't need Auto Grouping. I tweak all the settings, uncheck "Auto Grouping", and save a New Preset.
But after applying that saved preset to the new image, "Auto Grouping" checkbox is still checked by default - and i need to uncheck it every time manually (and that triggers "re-trace") before i click "Expand".
I need to have a preset without "Auto Grouping", but it's impossible to do, since Illustrator simply ignores that check-box when saving a preset.2 votes -
Properties panel doesn’t detect the actual font and shows Myriad Pro by default
When I select a word, the Properties panel doesn’t detect the actual font and shows Myriad Pro by default. None of the text settings respond or update. The program doesn’t freeze, but the panel acts as if no text is selected. The same thing happens in the Control panel

A group with any Warp effect applied to it fails to render hidden objects within when these are shown back
When an image with 3 or more layers is grouped together then an arch effect is added to that group, the layer visibility toggle behaves strangely in a way where the layers disappear but do not reappear. once the layer visibility is back to on but the image cannot be seen Illustrator will allow you to click and drag the area to grab the "hidden" layer but it is now only an outline with no color fill until you move it. or refill the color. This is a feature we have used for years and never had an issue until recently (April 2025)

29.4 is hanging/freezing in dialogs
I have found myself unable to work in 29.4. Program hangs/freezes all the time after entering some kind of dialog (save, settings, color mode, etc). I reset the settings to default, didn't help.
Reverted back to 29.3.1, no problems

Align art to pixel grid applied by default when adding vector images to CC libraries
Steps to reproduce: Select a vector graphic in an Adobe Illustrator file and click the Add ("+") icon at the bottom of the Libraries panel. Choose "Graphic." (note: the Illustrator file containing the graphic does not have "Align art to pixel grid" applied.)
Expected result: The newly created library asset should not have "Align art to pixel grid" applied.
Actual result: The library asset has "Align art to pixel grid" applied.
I'm forced to uncheck "Align art to pixel grid," close, and then re-open the library asset. This removes "Align art to pixel grid" about half the time.
