1. アセットの書き出しができない

   Win10のイラレcc2021で、アセットの書き出しパネルに画像をドラッグしても読み込まず、何も登録されない。
   普段であれば複数選択したものをドラッグするとその複数分読み込み登録されるのだが、まったく一つも読み込まない。
   これは何も役に立たないクズ機能。仕事にならんし使えん。

2. Data merge doesnt allow data field names that start with a number

   Variables panel > Data merge doesnt allow data field names that start with a number and the help site doesnt say this is an issue.

   Please update the website to explain data field names can't start with a number.

3. Profile of the document changes when a screenshot with P3 display (AI 24.3) is drag & dropped on Mac

   Take a screenshot (Command-Shift-4) and select the area. Drag in the image from its preview into an Ai open document with color settings: North American Web with the monitor profile preset to sRGB. Upon dropping the file into the canvas, the monitor profile becomes "Monitor" automatically. All the colors change visually with no warning presented.

4. Application de nuances sur objets groupés

   Problème nouveau : L'application d'une nouvelle nuance sur le fond et/ou le contour d'objets groupés ne semble plus changer la couleur de l'objet lui-même.
   Ainsi lorsque je sélectionne un objet après modification de la couleur du groupe il a conserve sa couleur initiale. Je ne vois pas l'utilité et cela complique la colorisation sur de grands nombres d'objets.

5. Zeichenfläche Name

   Wird der Name einer Zeichenfläche geändert, wird dieser Name beim nächsten Exportieren als (PNG) nicht als Dateiname übernommen. Erst wenn das Zeichenflächen-Namensfeld erneut aktiviert (geändert) wird, wird die Datei (Zeichenfläche) beim nächsten Export korrekt benannt.

6. Images get randomly cropped from unwanted sides with Crop Image

   Currently when you wish to crop an embedded or linked image, clicking the crop button makes the cropping interface appear over the image.

   When this happens, illustrator has already applied some (seemingly random) degree of cropping to the image.

   This is super annoying if you only want to crop one edge of the image as you have to return the other three edges to the uncropped position.

   Also if you are zoomed in so far as to not be able to see all the edges of the image, you crop the edge you are looking at without realising illustrator automatically cropped the edge which is out of view. It is not uncommon to perform many other edits, before zooming out to realise half your image is missing and having to undo all the way back to the crop.

   The automatic crop has never cropped an image in a way that makes sense for me, and i dont understand why they’ve gone to the extra effort of incorporating an auto crop that wastes more time than it saves.

   Please fix this or enlighten me as to the value i am unable to see.

   As per the comment, the random crop is caused by Enable Content Aware Defaults option in Preferences > General. Turn it off disable auto-suggesting weird crops.

   As for the white lines, this a separate problem, now merged into separate report:

8. Add Bleed setting / reading value in Illustrator JavaScript

   I checked illustrator JavaScript Scripting Reference
   In 2017, only the document bleeding documentbleedoffsetrect can be set, but the bleeding size that has been set in the document cannot be obtained. Is it because the document is incomplete or this method is not provided? Now how can I get the bleeding size of the current document. thank you!

   Examples code:
   //set bleed
   docPreset.documentBleedOffset = [10, 10 10,10];

   But there is no way to get the value that has been set

10. Getting Blank screen

    Getting grey blank screen not able to see any UI like File, Edit, etc., menus. Even the shortcuts are not working. Within seconds the Adobe illustrator closed automatically. Not able to recover the file as well.

11. Expand not working properly

    After I expand anything (texts, strokes etc.), nothing changed and texts are still editable or strokes are still strokes.

13. Create New Sublayer button

    I have a group that I want to make a sublayer instead.

    I click it in the Layers panel and try to click Create New Sublayer button.
    It’s grayed out.

    OK, think I, I must target it then, right? I do it.
    The button is still grayed out.

    I select other objects, in Layers or on canvas.
    Still grayed out.

    Then I click a layer name.
    Surprise! Now and ONLY now the button is active... what?
    What else can I mean when having selected anything else inside of a layer?

    Fine, I target my group, select a layer without targeting it and hit a button.
    Illustrator create a sublayer at the topmost position, ignoring my selection.

    So I have to move my group inside manually.
    And then I also have to reposition that new sublayer to a position where I wanted it to be because order matters.
    Yep, I could have moved the sublayer to the group instead...

    Wait, stop. Why I think about working around again?
    Why it is always a case in Ai — to workaround?
    Why Ai don’t realize that I want to make a sublayer from a selected thing?

    Please fix it.

16. copy and paste random color change

    1.macbook pro 2021, big sur 11.4
    2. version 25.3.1

    within the same file, when I copy and paste an element, the fill is changing. the same issue does not occur when option dragging the drawing. it happens repeatedly. The fill that is changing is a colored pattern fill. It has happened with all "original" colorations (ie it does not only happen when using the light blue fill like in the movie. but they all change to the same yellow fill like in the movie.)

17. object remaining after command z causing memory error message

    I attempted to duplicate an artboard full of clipping masks and objects but afterwards, clicked command z. All quickly as unintended results. It left behind one box with transparency effect. every attempt to move this left behind object, caused the error "Can't move the objects. There isn't enough memory ID: -108"
    Removing the objects seems to removed the problem.

18. Doesn't open cloud files

    Illustrator just couldn't open a file saved in the cloud.
    This issue only occurring when a file was double-clicked. When I single click on the file, it opens normally after installation.
    This problem has occurred after the update.

19. Action batch saving with data sets does not put out multiple files

    I updated to version 25.4 and had a file with multiple data sets. I have an action that saves as a PDF and I wanted to "batch" this action as I have done multiple times in the past to create multiple PDFs.
    However, now only one file gets saved and it gets overwritten constantly when the action repeats. The saved file name is whatever the file was saved as when recording the action, so it is not even the data set name.

    I have now reverted to the oldest version I could find which was 24.3 and it is working in this version.

20. Tilde key to move a pattern within shape not working

    My Tilde/Graves accent key is no longer working to transform a pattern within an object. Normally, I can rotate or move around a pattern when I hold it down without moving the object. It hasn't worked since my last update.
